very good food and soft, friendly atmosphere. I always know that it'll be a good, healthy meal whenever I go in. Completely fair for the price and such a clean place to eat. Always makes me feel good inside and out. read more

First Watch - Sunrise Granola Bowl Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Cincinnati, Ohio

Came here for post-church brunch. Used the no wait app, checked in late, but waited about 8 minutes to be seated. I ordered the Tri-fecta but opted for the Million Dollar Bacon. My friend ordered a juice which didn't make it to the table before our food came out (ugh). My waffle was pretty good, nice and crisp like I like it. The Million Dollar Bacon was such a disappointment. Seemed undercooked, flavor just wasn't there for me. My scrambled eggs were so hard, I barely ate them. It was like they threw eggs on a griddle, forgot they were there, and came back to finish them off real quick. Very disappointing. FirstWatch does have very good coffee and a nice variety of creamer if that's your thing. I enjoyed the farmhouse chic decor they've switched to, but First Watch has really declined from the days where I actively wanted to go there for brunch. There are way too many options in town with better food. read more

This was the perfect stop for lunch today! I ordered the millionaire bacon, fresh seasoned potatoes and joyful medicine tea and it was all perfection. All of the staff were so helpful and kind, especially when it came to allergy concerns. Thank you very much! read more

Always a nice time at First Watch. Try the seasonal Blue Booster seasonal juice! Everything is done well, service is good, clean bathrooms; only complaint is there's so many menu items it's tough to choose just one! read more

Very good food. Meal was ready in no time. Friendly staff and a very clean restaurant. Will be back again

I'm sad. I've been a customer of this location for many years. Love the new decor and vibe . The food ? Disappointing . Elevated egg sandwich , with runny yolk on menu, served up hard as a rock. Removed it from sandwich , discussed w server . Told manager about it when he asked ' how was everything '. No offer to reduce bill a bit or any resolve - " hopefully we'll do better next time" ? Don't think there will be that chance , bud. read more

Stopped in for breakfast and found this location clean, bright, busy and fully staffed with attentive waiters. I tried an offering from the Fall menu that included a pumpkin pancake/ chicken sausage / 2 eggs ($9.25). If was very good and the sampling left me satisfied but not overly full. The service was very good, coffee was good and I like that they leave the coffee pot on the table. I found it a very good atmosphere to have 1:1 business/personal meetings over a meal. A highly recommended place to but in your rotation. read more

First Watch - New Taste of Fall menu - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Cincinnati, Ohio

Love First Watch. First time at this location - it gets busy on the weekends, so download their app and get your place in line faster. Tried the Millionaires bacon today with my Tri-Fecta. Tasty, but I've had better candied bacon. Always get the Belgian waffle - so good. And the OJ is always freshly squeezed. If you do find yourself with a longer wait, there is a Half- Price Books downstairs - good place to kill 20 minutes or so, as the waiting area inside First Watch is limited. Parking is limited in the front, but usually plenty of spots in the rear. read more

Not impressed at all with the French toast ciabatta. It sounded wonderful on paper and that was about it. It came out and looked decent, however it totally was not. The French toast if it could even be called that was dry. Very dry and it did not taste like French toast either. It tasted more like dried out ciabatta with a dab of Nutella, whipped cream and strawberries. I am a fan of first watch, but this menu option was not executed well at all. First watch needs to go back to the drawing board and do some more consumer research and taste tests. Trying to pay my bill at the end was chaotic. There were people waiting for tables all in my way, just standing next to the register. The older man that was working the register was not personable, didn't even speak when handing me back my cash. That interaction, or lack there of sealed the deal for me on this location. read more

I had a lunch meeting at this First Watch. Service was prompt and there were lots of healthy options. I ordered Avocado Toasts and my guest ordered Bacado with bacon, avocado and Monterey Jack. The First Watch I remembered were on a heavier side. I liked the menu options. A good place for meetings too. read more

I come here all the time for work breakfasts and today was the same. Unfortunately, I was stood up! So I had breakfast anyway. The food was good, as in trying to be healthier. However, I deducted one star because I asked for their new kale green drink without ice and they bring me this tiny little glass vs the normal size and tell me it's because we load it with ice and are only permitted to put this small amount of juice for each order. :( Rough start for me today! If you're looking for a semi-healthy place to get breakfast, this place is it! I have attended First Watch serval times for get-togethers or meet up with friends. It's a great place to grab a gal pal and talk over brunch. Just know that if you go during the rush, you are going to have to wait. This place is usually jampacked on weekend mornings. I love the fact that there is a small table/bar set up now at this location that allows you to go sit. It's more of a 'bar' feel--but if you really don't care about a privacy of a booth or a table and just want to eat, it's perfect. This option allows you to quickly sit down. It's great if you are dining with a friend or by yourself. It's a perfect quick option! If you are looking for the more traditional breakfast such as pancakes or waffles with a gazillion different options, this place is probably not it. But if you were looking for some delicious avocado toast or fruit dishes--they have some great options. They do serve waffles or pancakes, and they are pretty good. The parking is a little tight around the building in this location, but if you run out of room, there is another parking lot around back. If you finish breakfast early, you might want to check out half price books. It is in the same plaza, just downstairs. read more

I went to this location Friday around noon. I waited behind a family, as is custom, but a couple who came in after me stepped in front of me to say they needed a table. I let it slide. The host (who is also the manager in this case) was busy so he may not have noticed I was there first. So I stand there, waiting again, when a man steps up to pay for his check. (You do this at the same spot) Okay.... a little annoyed, but not the end of the world. The hostager has seen me by now im sure, and will get to me next. BUT NO. Another man steps in front of me to pay for his check. I dont know what it was about me that made me completely invisible to everyone around me, but I have to wonder if it was because I was a party of one. I left at this point, and called to speak with a manager. He said, "I saw that you had gotten upset and stormed off" ????? I didnt storm off, I simply left in a semi-hurried fashion because I was hungry and obviously wasnt going to be seated anytime soon at this rate. He then told me, "Im not sure why they were cutting in front of you, but we do not allow that here" ????? You literally just did 3 times to one person constructively, sooo... I will never go back to this location. read more

We used to be loyal clients until today. Unfortunately, portions has been minimized and my husband omelette was done with eggs that look premixed. My Morning meditation drink is now 6 oz glass. I'm not a picky person so I went with the trifecta with the pancake bacon and eggs. The food was fine except the pancakes were a bit too sweet and soft but not to the point where they were inedible probably a solid 5.76/10 on the pancake scale. My biggest problem was the size of the actual dishes, more specifically the plates. I had three plates that took up half of the table, they were unnecessarily large almost comically large. One plate had my single pancake and a side of bacon (stacked), one plate had two? eggs, and another plate had another order of bacon all of which were the same size as the plate for the pretty sizable pancake. Everything except the pancakes and plate sizes was good. Ihop pancakes better read more

Came here with my hubby on a Sunday morning recently, and we used the "join waitlist" on the Yelp app. It made the wait so much shorter! We don't live very far from First Watch, and we were able to wait at home and in the car a bit, instead of waiting in the crowded front of the restaurant. The wait really isn't that long, considering the number of people waiting for tables. We were seated at a table for four. It's always great to have extra room! The server was cheery and efficient. I hadn't tried the avocado toast here yet, so I went with it and enjoyed it thoroughly! Nice amount of chunky avocado atop nicely toasted bread. It came with two basted eggs with runny yolks, just the way I like them. I was really hungry and ordered sides of potatoes and chicken sausage patties. Always love the potatoes! They have delicious bits of crispiness on the outside. The chicken patties were okay. I've had their turkey sausages before and would order those over the chicken patties. Overall, a very good meal! read more

Greeted by an unfriendly manager first off. Then the gravy that they're known for was not up to par, it was watery and tasted old. We had to send it back. I've never had any issues at any other location, so I would advise choosing literally any other First Watch besides this one. read more

I visited this location last Friday and surprisingly my French toast was warm but the Million Dollar Bacon was very cold and lousy. The place was in a good location and easy to get in and out and my waitress was really nice. I gave this place a 2/5 for their cold Million Dollar bacon. It wasn't even a million dollar bacon. It was more like $1.00 bacon stone cold. I'm very fickle about my bacon and like them crisp. read more

What has happened to First Watch? Their food used to be the best. I looked forward to going there for brunch/ lunch often. But, I have been disappointed in the food the last 10 times I was there. It's just not up to par. I had scrambled eggs today and there was something wrong with them. They were thick, rubbery, and had too much white stuff (egg white? not sure) They were gross. I mentioned it to our waitperson and to the person when I paid. I was not really looking for a refund, but a simple, "sorry you weren't happy with your meal" would have been nice. I keep going back hoping things have improved, but sadly not. I'm going to give them a long break. read more

First Watch hit the spot like usual. There was not a wait for a weekday lunch hour. The food was good. Our service was just okay. It took quite some time for a server to get to our table and get drink orders. Once we received our food, a salad came without dressing and a pancake without syrup. For the server to circle back around to check on us took quite some time. Needless to say, our server was not attentive enough to our table which was disappointing. read more

First Watch for me has always been just OK. It's like an old sports bra. It doesn't fit perfectly, you wouldn't wear it for a special occasion, but it provides quick and easy comfort. The menu isn't giant but provides a lot of options including healthy and vegetarian. I opted for the Avocado, Bacon, and Tomato skillet meal with two eggs on top. You could tell this stuff was all pre made and ready to go. My potatoes were a bit cold, not browned very well. The cheese wasn't melted all the way either. I basically scrambled it all together and just ate it anyway because I was really hungry and we were in a hurry. It didn't really taste good, but it wasn't the worst I've ever had either. This place is always packed, and there is almost always a wait. Come early, order something simple, and do not expect this place to knock your socks off. read more

They don't offer anything you couldn't make at home yourself but I had an hour and a half to kill, it was early, and I was starving. Even though I am by the mall there aren't a lot of weekday sit-down breakfast options. My server must have woke up on the wrong side of the bed that morning; he was quite a peach. He was completely annoyed they sat me at a four top (not my problem talk to the hostess) and that I had a book to read. The place was dead and I tip well. Boo for the service. read more

Stopped in for breakfast around 10:30 on a Monday. Restaurant was not very crowded and I was seated right away. A server came over and asked if I wanted coffee, to which I replied in the affirmative. He brought the coffee but declined to ask if I wanted to order. He hadn't introduced himself so I wasn't sure if he was my server so I thought nothing of it. An older couple came in and sat behind me. The server took their orders right away. Still no one came to my table. I sipped my coffee and waited. And waited. And waited. The staff was not coming around and over a period of at least 10-15 minutes I waited. The older couple behind me got their food and the original server came over and checked on them. When he still didn't stop at my table and I had finished my cup of coffee, I got up and left. I doubt anyone on the staff even realized I was gone. I've been here several times before as it is close to my office and I've had mixed experiences but nothing like this. It was clear no one there was interested in my business. I'm sure it was an aberration but still pretty inexcusable. read more

When I asked someone to describe First Watch to me they said "it's better than IHOP." That's a pretty good description. It's better than IHOP and the service is fast. The water is nasty. It has a bitter, chalky, almost chemically after taste. They put lemon slices in the water which when they first came to the table I thought was a good thing but after tasting the water I realize they were trying to mask it. The food is breakfasty. Similar to IHOP just churned out like a national chain restaurant. I ordered eggs over medium and I guess that was confusing because my egg order was wrong, wrong, wrong. The potatoes that accompany the meal tasted "off" and inedible. The whole wheat toast was very good and from looking at the others in my group's order the pancakes and other egg orders looked pretty good too. The other thing that was very good was the coffee. Nice roast, nice flavor. Would I recommend it? Yes, if you want something better than IHOP. read more

My family came to Cincy to visit my sister-in-law (husband's sister) and she recommended we go to brunch at First Watch near her home in Madeira. We came here around 8:30 am with our 2 familes: 5 adults and 4 kids (7, 5, 2, and 1). We were told that the wait would be 15-20 minutes which was fine. But 25 minutes came by then 30... as we were waiting patiently outside trying to calm our kids down, the manager came out and said that he would comp our meal. We finally got seated and our food and service were great. I loved their kids meal choices. I also love the healthy and hearty options they have on their menu. I went with the Tri-fecta: eggs + waffle + sausage and I highly recommend it. We don't know how much our bill was but we assumed it was a little over $100, but we were so grateful with the service that we paid $50 cash for tip. We would definitely come back on our next visit. read more

It was my first time at first watch, and it won't be my last time watching this establishment. It is truly a small chain run well. Service was great. Food was delicious. I haven't had ripe honey dew in years. Quite a nice surprise. I went with the tri athlete wrap with a side of goetta. The salsa /wrap combo really made the dish. My goetta was what you expect with goetta. I wish I ordered it crispier. The best part of my experience at first watch was the service. Extremely friendly waitress that could not have been more helpful. Overall, we'll run, clean, organized, and friendly restaurant with quality food. read more

What to try: Skillets Chickichanga Trifecta Typically very busy but a solid breakfast location. The best thing about this restaurant was using the no wait app to be seated. There was a 30 minute wait. By the time we got through the doors we were automatically seated. Highly suggest it! Me and the hubby both had the tri-fecta breakfast plate with waffles and over medium eggs. I had bacon and he had sausage. The bacon was delicious and crispy!!! The "airy" waffles on the other hand, collapsed under the pressure of syrup. It was the texture of mush- don't get the waffle. Lol If I ever go back, I'll try something different. But, I'd rather just go to The Original Pancake House on beechmont. read more
