My 29 y/o son & I stopped in for brunch on a busy Friday. This is a BIG location & it was packed. My son had never been here before so I suggested it because I love the quality of the food. We were seated immediately & our drink order of Morning Meditation was taken while we perused the menu. I ordered Chimi steak & egg hash (over medium) while my son got The B.E.C. and Blueberry lemon cornbread. Our food came out in about 11 minutes & it was steaming hot. I sampled the cornbread & it was heavenly. My food was delicious & my son really enjoyed his food too. He also liked the Morning Meditation which is my favorite. My only complaint is I had to wait in a long line to use the ladies room (4 ladies in front of me, one of them being an employee) which only has 2 stalls. This restaurant holds about 200 people so the bathroom is not adequate. read more

First Watch always delivers good food. So I'm glad there is a new location to visit. The Fairfield township store is located near the corner of Princeton and Gilmore roads. This was their first week open and management certainly did a great job in making sure things ran smoothly. There was ample staffing and they were all pleasant. As to be expected, there was a crowd for lunch when we went. The inside is country modern with lots of whites and grays. This First watch has a bar area to sit at in addition to tables and booths. We ordered a roast beef sandwich and salmon frittata. The sandwich was excellent, served on cheesy bread and a side of horseradish sauce. The frittata was tasty. Each plate came with a tossed salad. Closing thoughts, I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly everything went considering this was their opening week. There was ample staffing and they were both, efficient and friendly. The food was very good. This will be a nice addition to the area's restaurant mix. read more

My beautiful wife and I make a point to have lunch at First Watch about once every Calendar Quarter. We always order the same thing: SWEET HONEY PECAN SALAD. She does not eat nuts. I ask for hers to be put on mine. Today's meal at the Fairfield Township location was done to perfection! It was our first time at this particular place. So excited to try this new location! The service was good! The food was hot and delicious. The ambiance is very fresh and welcoming. We were a little disappointed that they did not offer the fall seasonal dishes, but we completely understand why they did not. They had just opened and did not want to overload the new staff. Another new location of a breakfast staple! A number of years ago, a new First Watch opened near where I lived. It became a problem. It was so easy to make the 5 minute drive to get a delicious pancake and a side or two. It's not the healthiest and most economical diet, but it's delicious. So, I moved. Since First Watch obviously noticed my absence at the aforementioned location, they did their due diligence, located me and build a new location less than 10 minutes away. Addiction, re-engaged! A creature of habit, First Watch is one of many locations where I find what I like early on and I never look at the menu again. This is a good thing and bad thing. The good thing is that what I like is what they're mainly known for - Delicious Multi-grain Pancakes with butter and warm maple syrup. Aside from bacon and/or a scrambled egg on the side, what more does one need in life? The bad thing is that they do have an incredible menu with a lot of creative dishes and ever changing seasonal dishes to choose from. I've sampled some, here and there, and I've never had a bad bite at any First Watch location. What I get - The Multi-grain Pancake with butter and warm maple syrup. It's gold, Baby.... GOLD. Now, I do have a dumb specific way of how I attack and eat these 'cakes, but I'll spare you my insanity. But you do need to slather with butter and apply syrup liberally. The syrup may take a second application as these light fluffy breakfast dreams just soak it up. When you take a bite, you'll find that they simply melt in your mouth. There's also a very subtle grainy texture that only adds to the sensational journey through Breakfast Heaven. They come as a single. You likely won't want/need more than one, no matter how much you think you will. Sides are where I vary. Sometimes it's Bacon, one Scrambled Egg or even their out-of-this-world Breakfast Potatoes. Ugh.... all so good. Wash it all down with one of the best glasses of Orange Juice that money can buy and a fresh pot of Coffee that they leave at your table. I wouldn't say their pricey but First Watch isn't cheap. Here's the deal - You get what you pay for. If you want a 99 cent menu, then hit a drive-thru and get what you pay for. You want to find your way to a euphoric food coma, I'll see you at First Watch. Lastly, you can pay at the table via QR Code on the receipt. This bypasses the sometimes long line for people coming in and trying to pay. First Watch is a popular place. Be mindful of peak times because there will be a wait. As great as their service is, people are willing to wait for First Watch so be prepared if you show up at 11am on a Sunday morning. You will be waiting. But........it'll be worth every bite. I promise. Would I go back? Try and stop me. You'll lose. When it comes to delicious, I let nothing get in my way. Now if I could just quiet the voices in my head that whisper, "pancakes....First Watch...bacon....pancakes...pancakes...buttery syrupy pancakey goodness...", I'd be much better off. Pro-tips: Get the breakfast potatoes to share. Maybe even the bacon too. Then, you get the best of multiple delicious worlds. Also, bring your thermal travel mug. If you have coffee, you get a pot of it. So enjoy your cup during your meal and top-off your travel mug to-go. Forgot your mug? Well, they usually ask you if you want a to-go cup for coffee. If they don't ask, then just ask yourself and they'll easily oblige. read more

A newer location that replaced the Big Boy's that was here. The inside was spacious and modern. We came on a Saturday morning so it was a bit crowded. We arrived a minute after our time on the waitlist and had to wait for our table again, which was slightly inconvenient but we were waiting for a few more people anyways. They were able to accommodate our party of 11 people + one baby easily, although we had to wait a little for things like clearing plates & boxes. The food came out all at the same time and tasted amazing, and our waitress was really friendly. read more

A great breakfast and experience at the new location in Fairfield Township. Beautiful and cozy ambiance for breakfast/brunch that wasn't overly loud or cramped. All staff were courteous and responsive. Food was hot and delicious, never ran out of coffee and had great interactions with all staff including our server Cheyenne. Cheyenne approached quickly, identified and recommended great dishes, and her check ins and follow up were timely and responsive! Definitely recommend this location! read more

This new location for First Watch did not disappoint. After a brief 20 minute wait, we were seated and our server was prompt taking our drink orders. We all ordered and the food came out really quick and correct. It was sooo good. My 18 yr old son ordered two pancakes and they were huge. I had the traditional breakfast and the serving of potatoes was great. The eggs were made just how I wanted them. The sausage links were seasoned just right. And there was toast to round things out. The menu is so large it's really hard to choose, but I don't think there is a bad choice. The restaurant and bathroom were very clean. It was a great experience and we will return! read more
