Nasty slimy, veggie omelette! With burnt toes and uncooked mushrooms! They lost a customer today. I hope I don't get sick.

I have ordered from here a few times and I continue to be disappointed! They don't fully cook the mushrooms. They barely give you anything in the veggie omelette. It's never full. It's slimy and nasty. The potatoes always seemed like they were cooked yesterday and my bread is always burnt! They definitely lost a customer today.

Food was great and service was quick! Loved the apple sausage and the egg was cooked perfectly. The waffle was great as well. Great experience and will definitely be visiting again. Everything went well and is worth the visit!

Our recent brunch here was pretty good. The food is fairly standard. Nothing exciting. The service was great, though! We had a short wait - 10 minutes. I had the Traditional and my daughter had the Trifecta with a side of potatoes. The food came out quickly, considering how busy they were, and everything tasted pretty good. The seasoned potatoes seemed a bit undercooked in some bites and burnt in others. They actually weren't that good. Again, nothing special but it was quick, filling and the service was great.

The food is always fresh and delicious! The Service is friendly and quick and the ambiance is clean and modern farmhouse chic.

These are my breakfast potatoes . I order them on July 5th 2025.

I don't even want to give a rating on my experience with the one in Downtown Cincinnati on 7th Street. I spent $30 dollars on some fuck up food. My million dollar bacon and potatoes was so burnt. I was upset I will never go back to them again and that was my first time eating there. I order online to take it out

First watch is my go-to for solid food. Each time I go, the food is perfectly cooked and the staff is inviting. This location is no different. The team made a great point to be extra cautious during these odd times and were cleaning extensively during our visit. We had the avocado toast, which was perfect. Adding the lemon really makes a difference and adds a pop to the flavor - highly recommended if you get the dish. I always love the Farmhouse skillet; I have never gotten one that was bad. It has a perfect combination of flavors that make me want to continue coming back. Lastly, the pumpkin pancake is a must have in the fall. It doesn't need any syrup, maybe just a bit of butter. I can't wait to get my fill again soon!

Love this classic brunch spot! I dined solo on a casual weekday morning. Service was quick and attentive. I love their sweet options, so I chose a pancake. I was even able to put in a specisl order for the Cinnamon Chip pancake despite is not being their seasonal offering. Not only was this pancake delicious with the perfect fluff to crisp ratio, but it came out to me in no more than 5 minutes. Can't beat that!

They said it was a 1-2 hour wait. We put ourselves on the waitlist. When we arrived it was a 45 minute wait and that is how long it took. Coffee is the same. They have pure maple syrup. food took 15 minutes. Waffle was perfect. Omelette was outstanding. The grits were good for northern grits. The maple syrup added to the meal. Another nice holiday breakfast.

Parking for handicapped is terrible. On Site reality has handicapped spots further than necessary Jimmy John's has 5 right in front next door. On Site people don't caterer to the handicapped Classic Breakfast first watch . Let the real estate people know you are unhappy.

If you haven't been to MPH Brewing in Montgomery, you're either stuck in traffic... or parked…read moresomewhere three blocks away wondering if this place is really worth the walk. Spoiler: it is. The only real complaint here is that the parking situation occasionally resembles a Black Friday doorbuster...,,except instead of discounted TVs, you're fighting for proximity to exceptional beer and people who actually seem glad you showed up. From the moment you walk in, you get hit with something rare these days: genuine, unscripted hospitality. Sierra, the general manager, runs the place with the kind of quiet authority that says, "Yes, we're in control....and yes, you're going to enjoy yourself." She's sharp, composed, and clearly the reason everything hums instead of hiccups. Then there's Maddie...her sister....who is essentially a human champagne cork. Every interaction pops, sparkles, and somehow gets more entertaining the longer you're around her. Watching Sierra and Maddie interact is like seeing discipline and delightful chaos shake hands and decide to run a brewery together. The result? A place that feels both dialed-in and alive. Caroline deserves her own headline. Not just pleasant...precision-level accommodating. The kind of service where you don't have to ask twice, and usually don't even have to ask once. She and Maddie made sure we were completely taken care of out on the porch, including getting a fire going when the temperature dipped into that sneaky "do I need a jacket or not?" zone. That's not service..,.that's anticipation. The food? Legitimately strong. The prosciutto and fig jam pizza hits that perfect balance of sweet, salty, and "why did we not order two of these?" Their salads don't feel like a punishment, and the sandwiches,,..let's just say people aren't exaggerating. You'll see tables guarding them like trade secrets. Now the beer....this is where MPH separates itself from the "nice patio, average product" crowd you find scattered along certain nearby river-adjacent zones. These beers don't just show up,,.they perform. Clean, well-crafted, and across a lineup that feels like a brewmaster who knows exactly what he's doing and isn't guessing. You could drop several of these into a national competition and they wouldn't just participate--they'd make noise. What stands out most is the environment. Relaxed without being lazy, energetic without being chaotic. If the weather cooperates, sitting outside is one of the most enjoyable, almost unfairly pleasant experiences you'll find in Montgomery. There's really nothing else like it in the immediate area, it's not trying to copy anything, and that's exactly why it works. Bottom line: MPH Brewing is what happens when ownership hires well, trains well, and then gets out of the way of good people doing good work. Just plan your parking strategy like you're invading Normandy--or bring comfortable shoes. Either way, you'll leave glad you made the effort.

The bartender quickly spotted up as we sat down at the bar and asked for our order. I appreciate the range of available beers. Not a hefty number of hazy IPAs. I had a fantastic doppelbock (tis the season!) and a sample of their wee heavy. Both delicious. We visited on a Saturday evening, and it was hopping! The brewery itself is inviting, set up so that it is welcoming to families, couples, singles, and groups. The staff we interacted with were all incredibly friendly and attentive. If I lived in the nearby or even in Ohio, I would certainly make this brewery a regular spot. Enjoy your visit!

    1. Parmesan-Crusted Pork Chop This plate came out looking…read moreserious. The pork chops had that golden, crunchy sear that lets you know the chef didn't cheat the pan. The crust is seasoned well, giving each bite a savory crunch before you hit the juicy center. The sauce on the bottom adds flavor but also runs a little thin, so it doesn't cling as much as you'd expect. The mashed potatoes are smooth, and those crispy fried onions on top add the right texture. Solid, comforting, and flavorful -- just needed a thicker reduction to tighten the plate. 2. Gnocchi with Braised Short Rib Sauce This dish is exactly what comfort food wants to be when it grows up. The gnocchi is soft, pillowy, and coated in a rich, slow-simmered sauce that tastes like somebody took their time building layers. You get a blend of tomato, parmesan, herbs, and that short rib flavor that carries the whole bowl. It's heavy -- in a good way -- and every bite feels like fall weather in a bowl. Definitely one of the stronger dishes. 3. Parmesan-Crusted Chicken with Green Beans & Tomato Relish The chicken is fried to that perfect "crisp but not greasy" level. The parmesan crust gives it a nutty, salty pop, while the tomato pieces add freshness to cut through the richness. The shredded parmesan on top melts just enough to tie everything together. The green beans are cooked right -- not soggy, still with a snap. The side dish (mac & cheese, most likely) is creamy with a buttery breadcrumb top that adds the right crunch. Overall, a well-balanced plate. 4. Spaghetti & Meatballs This is classic Italian comfort done the Cooper's Hawk way. The sauce is thick, tangy, and bright with tomato flavor. The meatballs are tender and seasoned well, and the touch of ricotta on top softens the acidity and makes the sauce creamy as you mix it in. The pasta is cooked right -- not mushy, not stiff, easy to twirl. Simple, hearty, and dependable. Overall Impression Cooper's Hawk came through with a table full of comfort and richness. Everything was plated well, seasoned properly, and cooked with intention. The standout dishes are the gnocchi and the parmesan-crusted chicken, but nothing on the table missed the mark.

We tried the Grilled Mahi sandwich ($17.99) and the Soup & Sandwich combo ($19.99). A glass of wine was $11 and a soft drink was $4.99. $70 with tax and tip. The term "upscale" seems to have become a euphemism for "more expensive than you thought it was going to be". I rated it 3 stars for several reasons. First, the food tasted very salty, almost to the point of us sending it back but we didn't because we had been waiting almost 30 minutes and were hungry. The slow service was reason two. Reason three was the price point. Five bucks for a coke? Twenty bucks for a soup and sandwich? The food was OK but the value just wasn't there. And reason four was the noise level. It was so loud I couldn't take an incoming cell phone call. Having said all that, they didn't seem to be hurting for business on a Friday afternoon so all I can say is it seems there are a lot of people out there who really like the place. If you're one of them, I think you'll find this Coopers Hawk a great place for lunch or dinner.

My husband was saying how much better it will be when we come back in the summer with the huge patio and all the garage doors open. Our server was super friendly and went over the menu with us, telling us which items were most popular and which were his favorites. I got the peanut butter porter which was really good and hubby liked his s'mores stout as well. We split one of their huge pretzels which came with whole grain mustard and beer cheese...delish!!
