Food: Everything tasted really fresh and high quality. You can tell they care about what they're putting out. Portions were solid, flavors were clean, and overall just really enjoyable without feeling heavy. Also didn't break the bank, which made it even better. Service: The place was packed on a Sunday morning, but our server handled it really well. Super attentive without being overbearing-kept our coffee going, brought extra creamer and sugar without us even asking, and never made us feel rushed or like we were competing for attention. Ambiance: Definitely busy, but it didn't feel chaotic. Still comfortable enough to enjoy the meal and not feel overwhelmed by the crowd. Really great experience. We'd come back to this location specifically-the service and kitchen were both on point. Definitely a chain we'll be going to again. read more

I've been to plenty of First Watches and I will say that this location was pretty average. I ordered the Morning Meditation, scrambled eggs and potatoes. The Morning Meditation beverage was nice but my food was lackluster. Once the food arrived, it barely held a warm temperature. As if it just sat there for several minutes before it was brought to me. The restaurant was not that busy. Some of the potatoes were a bit underdone. To pay 15$ for this when I can get double the food with a guarantee that it'll be brought to me hot was troubling. read more

First Watch has always been a favorite of mine. Not being from Cincinnati, this spot was one of my first breakfast places and I've been hooked ever since. Our server was amazing, he was attentive throughout our meal, providing great feedback, and made sure our meal was to our liking. read more

My server was wonderful and very friendly despite the busy restaurant. Enjoyed the million dollar potatoes (minus bacon which surprisingly apparently many order) and fresh delicious coffee. Holley Moley donuts were really good, almost a dessert, but the donut holes were a little stale. With the exception of the super crowded parking lot, this was a great experience. read more

I have ordered from here a few times and I continue to be disappointed! They don't fully cook the mushrooms. They barely give you anything in the veggie omelette. It's never full. It's slimy and nasty. The potatoes always seemed like they were cooked yesterday and my bread is always burnt! They definitely lost a customer today. read more

Our recent brunch here was pretty good. The food is fairly standard. Nothing exciting. The service was great, though! We had a short wait - 10 minutes. I had the Traditional and my daughter had the Trifecta with a side of potatoes. The food came out quickly, considering how busy they were, and everything tasted pretty good. The seasoned potatoes seemed a bit undercooked in some bites and burnt in others. They actually weren't that good. Again, nothing special but it was quick, filling and the service was great. read more

Stopped in this morning for a works omelette and it was great! Felt bad because we totally spilled our drink all over ourselves, the table and the floor where we were sitting The waitress could not have been more helpful with it though and understanding. Great breakfast as always. read more

The ambiance is nice, but the portions are incredibly small for the price. A Cobb salad is 95% lettuce with the toppings scantily spread on top. There's barely any turkey, even though that's a main ingredient. The omelettes are ridiculously small. Every menu item should either be double in size or half the price currently listed. The flavors and choices are good, but we all left hungry. Not worth the price; go elsewhere. read more

It was a Tuesday afternoon, 12:30 pm. I was seated. The restaurant was less than half full. I went to wash my hands and was back in my seat at 12:32. Literally 17 minutes went be without so much as an acknowledgment of my presence or the obligatory, "would you like coffee?" A gentleman who walked in ahead of me - he held the door for me - not only had been welcomed, he had begun his lunch when I finally left. Another who walked in behind me had his drink and had placed his order. This guy was literally in a table 4' from mine. I have to wonder if the staff saw my Trump phone case and decided to ignore me. I will never set foot back in this place again, and I probably have 10-12 breakfast meetings a year at this location. read more

Over the years I've come to this first watch many times with my parents. They are great and never disappoint! One of my favorite things to get here is the avocado toast. It is huge and comes with lots of avocado and a nicely cooked egg on top, along with thickly sliced bread. I also love their pancakes as they are exceptionally large and light and fluffy. Their breakfast potatoes are also SO good! One thing I really miss is their chopped salad with tomatoes, cucumbers and I think kiwi? It was unique and yummy but they no longer serve it - please bring it back!!! Overall I love first watch but I would recommend going early as there will be a wait - the food is that good! read more

First watch is my go-to for solid food. Each time I go, the food is perfectly cooked and the staff is inviting. This location is no different. The team made a great point to be extra cautious during these odd times and were cleaning extensively during our visit. We had the avocado toast, which was perfect. Adding the lemon really makes a difference and adds a pop to the flavor - highly recommended if you get the dish. I always love the Farmhouse skillet; I have never gotten one that was bad. It has a perfect combination of flavors that make me want to continue coming back. Lastly, the pumpkin pancake is a must have in the fall. It doesn't need any syrup, maybe just a bit of butter. I can't wait to get my fill again soon! read more

Love this classic brunch spot! I dined solo on a casual weekday morning. Service was quick and attentive. I love their sweet options, so I chose a pancake. I was even able to put in a specisl order for the Cinnamon Chip pancake despite is not being their seasonal offering. Dad and I spent a morning out with the kids and this was the perfect breakfast stop. You can now download their app to get in line/join the waitlist. But in this particular morning we had no need. It was a Sunday morning at the beginning of February around 10:30a and getting a table for four was no problem - they seated us immediately. I will mention that their parking lot is shared and quite small. So I would imagine that things could get hairy pretty fast. But again, we lucked out and got a spot right in front of their door! Dad and I shared the Chickichanga and a side of goetta (my go-to any time I visit a First Watch), while my kids shared the trifecta - scrambled eggs, bacon and a waffle. I requested that our potatoes be extra crispy and found that I did enjoy them more than usual. I will not that I think their side of fruit has shrunk by half. It used to come in a small bowl but is now put in a small container that sauces are served in. Not impressed. But the chickichanga was just as delicious as ever! And the bite of waffle I got to have was perfect. They're always so light and fluffy here!! One random thing I'd encourage them to change - better lighting in the bathroom, please!! It's so dim that doing a diaper change for my youngest was a bit challenging. read more

We came for breakfast on a weekend at 930. Promptly seated and offered a pot of coffee at our table and a carafe of water. The waiter took our order and it was a bit of a wait for the food, but it eventually came. Ordered the frittata and it came with a side salad. If you're watching what you eat, I'd ask for the greens with dressing on the side because it's quite saturated. The hash with 2 eggs on top was great. We tried the Italian. It's like a breakfast scramble with all of the fixings. The lemon ricotta pancakes are inconsistent; last time we came they gave us two pancakes for an order and this time it was only a single pancake. Pricey at almost $10 for a single pancake. For two people the cost came to $40 with tip. You pay at the counter before leaving. Parking is easy to find and if there is a wait, they offer coffee and fruit infused water. read more

If you're looking for a place that can meet the needs of all breakfast lovers, First Watch should be at the top of your list. Great variety throughout the menu and fun seasonal options. Very homey and instagramable atmosphere. My roommate and I were having an indecisive Sunday, so we ended up splitting two dishes: the Tri-Athlete Omelet and the Smoked Salmon Benedict. While I liked it, I'm picky about my Benedict, so I will note that this one wasn't my favorite. My roommate, who loves salmon, agreed. However, switching our side to potatoes was a power move, as they were tasty. The omelet on the other hand was delicious. I'm a sucker for health in the morning and this one doesn't disappoint. While the green chilies and mushrooms make this dish, don't skip out on the jam that comes with the toast. So. Good. Would 100% order again over the Smoked Salmon Benedict. Both of us also enjoyed the Morning Meditation juice which was very refreshing and aesthetically pleasing. 4/5 for short wait time on a holiday weekend, great service, healthy options, a delicious omelet, refreshing juice and an average Benedict. read more

If I'm going to overpay for brunch I hate to do so in a strip mall (but in Kenwood, unfortunately, there isn't much else). My main complaint with First Watch is that it's a bit overpriced. It's over $15/ person for dishes that, while cleverly marketed, are still only pseudo-healthy at best. Don't get me wrong - the wait staff and customer service are amazing here... on a busy day I was immediately greeted, seated and served. If I want a boutique breakfast I guess I'd prefer local Cincinnati places like B&A Street Kitchen, Taste of Belgium, Maplewood, Cheapside or Baker's Table... it just feels wrong to eat something as beautifully hipster as avocado toast in a strip mall. read more

I've been going to this First Watch ever since I was young. It never fails to provide the best breakfast with so many options to choose from! This is a huge reason why I love first watch. Their menu has options for anyone with any kinds of food preferences. The first time I got lunch from First Watch was the Choose Two option and I got the Chicken Avocado Chop Salad & the Market Veggie. I am absolutely in love with the market veggie! I didn't know what to expect honestly, but it tasted like an upgraded grilled cheese! The veggie flavor isn't too strong, which I enjoyed. The basil pesto, mayo, and mozzarella brought this together in the best way. It was so good and hot when it came to our table. read more

This place never fails me for brunch. I get the farmers market hash (and sometimes a pancake too!) It's almost always worth the wait.

Came here for a late brunch and it was still packed! We had to wait a bit for our table but once we were seated service moved very quickly and was very efficient. They were also great about checking for allergens, even notifying me that one of the menu items I wanted had sesame in it. I ordered the Trifecta breakfast, which consisted of 2 eggs your way, your choice of meat, and your choice of either a waffle or pancake. What I really loved about this option was that it offered a little bit of everything (salty, savory, sweet) was also allowing a lot of room for choice. The meat selections range from bacon to sausages to patties, which both chicken and turkey options available. There are also lots of pancake flavors to choose from too, so the meal is really customizable. I really enjoyed what I got overall. The scrambled eggs were light and fluffy, the turkey sausages very nicely seasoned, and the waffle was sweet and not too dense. Loved the berry compote it came with. This is a classic brunch spot for Cincinnati visits and a place you can count on for good service and good food. read more

I always want to like First Watch much more than I ever do. I have eaten at this location 3 times over the past year. Each time my requested over easy eggs were medium hard. The servers were very nice about replacing them but eating breakfast in 2 courses takes a lot of the pleasure away from enjoying a meal. I also wish they would replace the margarine with butter and get syrup dispensers that dispense more than a trickle. Kudos for serving maple syrup but it takes an age to get enough to moisten the pancake. I love breakfast but I always leave vaguely disappointed. read more
