It was more of a cinnamon sugar biscuit than a traditional cinnamon roll, but large enough for four of us to share. It was a little dry in some parts so definitely grab a spoonful of the glaze when you put it on your plate. The overall flavor was fine and I'm really glad I shared it with friends. I heard you could get one frozen to go and you just heated up at home just as good. For my sandwich, I ordered the Lola. It's a Buttermilk Biscuit Sandwich with Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Bacon, House Made Honey Butter + covered in Maple Syrup. Pro tip, have the maple syrup on the side or your hands will be very sticky when trying to eat it. The overall flavor of the biscuit, fried chicken, bacon, honey butter, and maple syrup was a really good combo! The biscuit was just a little more crumbly than I'm used to, so I struggled eating it as a whole sandwich. I would definitely get it again, but cut it up into bite-size pieces and eat it with my fork. There are a couple other really good options on the menu that I want to try so I'll definitely be back!

If you're looking for a spot that masters both aesthetic and flavor, this is it. ### **The Atmosphere** The interior is bright, airy, and beautifully designed. The minimalist wood accents, clean white tiling, and abundance of lush greenery create a refreshing, upscale vibe that's perfect for a weekend brunch or a quick, healthy lunch. It's the kind of space that immediately makes you feel good just walking in. ### **The Food & Drinks** The presentation is 10/10--the toasts are served on beautiful wooden boards with gold flatware, making the meal feel like a special occasion. * **Avocado Toast:** Loaded with fresh, creamy avocado and topped with vibrant watermelon radishes, tomatoes, and microgreens. The bread had the perfect crunch! * **Mediterranean-Style Toast:** This was a standout, featuring fresh tomatoes, feta, olives, and a squeeze of lemon. It was incredibly fresh and zesty. * **Coffee:** Their latte art is on point, and the coffee itself was smooth and perfectly balanced--the ideal pairing for the savory toasts. ### **Final Verdict** Toastique manages to make "healthy" feel indulgent. The ingredients are clearly high-quality, the service is friendly, and the environment is top-notch. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu. **Highly recommend!**

My wife and I are very disappointed in the recent changeover from Egg and I to "Firstwatch" (terrible name kinda reminds we of a military name). We effectively have no place to enjoy our weekly breakfast anymore. The new look is too modern and is an example of how companies seem to ignore the customer to do what they is is right for everyone else. The reason to eat at Egg and I was the whimsical name, great value (which is gone with the changeover and higher prices across the board), and instead of comfortable diner atmosphere and traditional booths, it is all "modern", with uncomfortable hard seating. The worst part is the menu, we lost the two vegetarian items we looked forward to: the Athena Scramble and the Veggie Benedict. So disappointing and sad. I guess First Watch lost another customer; we will likely eat now at a competitor. read more

The service was excellent with more than one person helping out as needed. No territoriality. Every employee we interacted with was superb and our main man Jomari was great. Our granddaughters devoured their pancakes, and both are picky. Coffee is good - nothing to write home about but better than many. I had a the Garden Skillet with my eggs scrambled and it was very good. The jam that came with the English muffin was quite tasty. The beautiful Italian had an Ultimate Skillet, (without the ham). However, she had her eggs over medium and one of them was just totally undercooked. This is where they shined. The server noticed she had only eaten one egg and asked if everything was alright. She demurred but he asked if she was sure, saying he wanted her meal to be perfect. She told him one egg was undercooked. Next thing you know, the manager is at our table, very pleasant, and said that after checking the leftovers, she totally agreed and then made it right. Then the whole thing turned into a very pleasant 10-minute conversation about Colorado, restaurants, etc. The place is nice and airy, and all was clean - a very pleasant experience. One warning to vegetarians - the Harbor Potatoes are cooked in beef tallow. This wasn't clear to us until I noticed one of those table signs that stated they "proudly" cook them in beef tallow - no seed oils! I am not sure what is wrong with seed oils, but that is their thing. HOWEVER, you can sub shredded potatoes, which are vegan-friendly, so no issues. But unless you read the menu closely this may be missed.
