My favorites in order was the sweet potato pancake (which surprised me but they had special butters and syrups on each one), Pineapple pancake (both sweet potato and pineapple I would say could hold their own evenly in my book, with a slightly bigger preference for sweet potato), strawberry shortcake. Also because the plate was slightly warped and no placemat, as I tried to cut up burrito the plate spun arounded. Seemed a little like a slapstick comedy. I wish my waitress had visited again so I could have received another napkin. But worst than a spinning plate it was the really bad 4$ coffee. It had no flavor, it tasted like hot water. We arrived without a reservation on Sunday early afternoon. The wait was only about 15 min, we were the last of the brunch rush as the restaurant cleared out while we were there. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly enough. The food was definitely priced high for what you get. I asked for an orange juice and a side of gravy with the meal... received neither and the server was distracted and not very attentive at the point the food arrived (someone else brought the food) so I did not ask about the missing items. The items were not also on our bill and the server was brief and didn't make eye contact so I think he remembered when he pulled up our bill to print. Not sure if we would return as there are many other options at a more reasonable breakfast price point. It's cute inside with a unique layout. read more

So glad to discover this place. OMG French toast hit the spot as I have been craving for a while and all the restaurants visited didn't deliver that homey taste until today and more specifically that toasted coconut along with the syrup ‍ , I am on top of the breakfast world. Hubby ordered "Ham Benedict", it was also delicious and fantastic. The restaurant features a unique "garage patio" dining setup that offers nice outside views and a great atmosphere. While the service was good, it wasn't quite exceptional, which might just be due to how busy they were with the long lines. Service was very slow; we ordered five dishes, but the server mixed up one, and it took another ten minutes to arrive ( hence deducting one point ). Food was good! I had the breakfast burrito, which was among the few options that didn't include bacon/sausage/ham, which I don't eat. We were both planning to order fresh juice, which sounded great, but our server said they were out of ALL of them. I had a chai latte instead. The restaurant was extremely loud on this Friday (doesn't anyone work anymore?! lol), and we were relieved to get a patio seat. It was much quieter outside and we were able to enjoy the beautiful weather, so that was a win! Overall, we enjoyed our meal, but I don't know if this makes my list of favorite places. I'd love to see more vegetarian and/or chicken dishes on the menu, and would like to be able to try their juice if I return. read more

This location of Snooze is our regular haunt... the cheers bar of breakfast spots. The staff is friendly, efficient and always on point. The food is fantastic, yes sometimes a mistake gets made, that's life, but they go over and above to fix it IF something happens. But honestly it's 95 % perfect every time. I have a gluten intolerance and this is the best breakfast place to accommodate that. Their gf pancakes are honestly better than their regular ones according to my family. I used to order the southwest benny but that one got taken off the menu so I switched to the breakfast tacos. They are also fantastic. My family likes the basic breakfast the spuds deluxe, and the Benny duo options We highly recommend this spot. read more

When I dared to admit I didn't know my server's name, I was promptly banished back to my table like a child sent to time-out. I sat there in silence, staring into the abyss, waiting for my elusive server to magically reappear so I could perform the sacred ritual of giving them my money. This isn't even a one-time thing--the front-of-house team here is consistently moody. Every time we come in, we're greeted with the kind of attitude usually reserved for someone who just asked for extra salsa on a Monday morning. What could they do differently? Literally anything: Train the front desk on basic hospitality: A simple "Oh, no problem! What table were you sitting at? I can check you out right here" works wonders instead of full-blown public scolding. Try smiling: Or at least act like taking customer money isn't a massive personal insult. Implement a simple POS system at the front: If customers aren't allowed to pay at the host stand, maybe put up a sign--or better yet, just take the payment like almost every other restaurant on the planet. Snooze is a solid choice for breakfast or brunch. They sprang up as a one location business right behind the loft I had in downtown Denver. I could literally see how long the line was from my window in the morning. Since then, they have exploded into a nationwide chain with locations spanning from coast to coast - almost... San Diego to Chapel Hill. The real reason, in my opinion, for this expansion is three-fold; first, they have a great menu of well crafted, diet-be-damned food items sure to satisfy. Second, they have a retro but upscale 60's-esque blueprint for the look and feel that totally works. Lastly, and most impactful, is that they hit the luck goldmine when the knuckleheads from MTV's Real World Denver would always go there to eat, creating instant popularity for the original location. But that was nearly 20 years ago, and the lines still form at most locations. Be prepared to wait on the weekends. Also, they have what I can only describe as a side of candied bacon. So good. Wow. They get very busy on the weekend so make sure you get a ressie or get there early. Even though they were slammed the servers were on top of everything! They have indoor seating and a patio. Lots of patio heaters to accommodate as it gets colder. they always have a few rotating drinks and eats for the season on top of their normal menu. The snooze burrito (minus eggs - thanks for the accomodation) is my dream breakfast. I'll have to keep coming back to Colorado (pull my arm) until there is a Nebraska location! read more

We also ordered our entrees, I had the Chile Verde Benny, one Barbacoa and one Pulled Pork. It was so good! My wife had the Protein and Veggie scramble. She said it was really fresh and good. Now the reason for the 3 stars, after we were served our meals, the service was non-existent until we got our bill. They did not even come by with water, still sitting in the sun, until the waiter brings over the bill. I had to ask for more water, and we were already done eating our meals. There is no excuse for not checking peoples water who are sitting out in the heat. One lady brought out a pitcher after I gave the guy my credit card, she hit like 4 tables and then was heading back inside. WTH? We had to waive her down to get our final refill. That was unacceptable, hit every table till your pitcher runs out! Then do it again! My Bloody Mary glass sat empty for that whole time too, do you think someone would ask if I would like another? Never happened. But what I did notice was all the attention was given to those just being seated, to take their meal and drink orders. Always delicious! This is a go to for our family. The French toast is a must for my mom everytime. I had a delicious coffee and a yummy omelette. My brother had breakfast tacos and toast. I went at 8:30 on a Saturday and got lucky with a pretty short wait. Took my mom here for the first time and she LOVED it. She loves Eggs Benedict but doesn't really eat meat anymore, so they had some options that were great for her. Every Snooze looks the same, with the furniture and general set up. It's nice to take in when it isn't too busy (in my opinion), but they get busy pretty easily. Service was average-met our needs when needed, not very personable but that's not a big deal for us.
