My husband and I went to this restaurant for brunch on a Sunday. To be honest, this is one of their busiest times so I suggest enjoying a meal like this at a different time. I had no other complaints. The staff was sweet and polite and did not make us wait longer than 15 minutes. Despite being very busy, our food was out quicker than expected and our waitress was aware of when I needed more water. I ordered avocado toast with seasoned potatoes on the side. For the price I paid, it was well worth it. The toast was large, they really spread the avocado on their nicely, and everything was cooked to perfection. The food here is always superb. We went on a Sunday for brunch and the wait time was it's standard 45 to 60 minutes. We arrived at the 45 minute mark and were told that it was still another 30 minutes until we got our table but in reality we ended up waiting another 10 or so. The restaurant was packed and the servers were running around, doing the best they could to keep up. Even though it was crazy for them, our service and quality of food didn't show that there was anything wrong. I was with a group with three other people, and the four of us ordered from all over the menu. There were omelettes, Eggs Benedict, waffles, French toast, and avocado toast, drinks with fruit juices and energy boosts, and of course black coffee. Every single piece of our food looked good, and based on the lack of talking and abundance of chewing, tasted great. We were there eating and chatting for a long time, but we were not pressured to get up or get out. Our waitress insured that our cups were always filled and always had a smile for us. Tried them for the first time last weekend. Went in and there was a huge crowd milling around the hostess stand. I ask about the wait and was told 20 minutes, so I put my name in. I walk outside to tell the rest of my party that it will be 20 minutes and they page telling me to come and get seated. 20 minutes? More like 2. Food was great! Breakfast burrito had great sauce, bacon was crispy. The coffee was maybe a bit weaker than I prefer, but was drinkable. My wife enjoyed her French toast, and loved the coffee. Next time I will need to remember to bring a parka though, because it was freezing cold inside. The ac must have been on full blast. Was not familiar with First Watch until I came across the Senate St location in Camp Hill. I was amazed by the number of items available. I had the 'works' omelet with a side of grits. Nancy was my server and was just a gem! The omelet was spilling over with the goodness of sausage, bacon, ham, onions, etc. The grits were really really good. Just like I remembered..my first visit was at the Fort Lauderdale location and everything was so good. This location is just the same minus the Florida sun:( There was a short wait but it was beautiful outside. Benches are provided for your convenience. They offer outdoor seating which seats at least 15-20 people. So the best part, the food lol I got the carrot crush for my drink and he got coffee. We both got the farmhouse which is like a scrambler; eggs, bacon, cheese, potatoes, tomatoes, and avocado with a side of toast, and a cup of fresh fruit. We also decided to try out the French toast omg so delicious. The atmosphere was great, our server was the best and overall it was an awesome brunch with good eats. Waitress brought me brown tea water and gave my companion her orange juice in a small plastic cup and told us it was due to not having any glasses as I continued to see others be served with glasses. I have eaten at this chain all over and never been treated like I was a single, handicapped individual. I went there for specific breach item. The only item with the money and the Wait. After standing and waiting patiently while a hostess checked out three checks I got my own menu. Finally I asked to be seated by a window. The hostess took me to the two tables facing the kitchen ( no window? I asked if I could be by a window. She had to ask a manager. I waited again and another person was then seated ahead of me. They have some decent healthy selections to choose from and are fine for takeout if you are ok with waiting past your pickup time in a packed space that there is nowhere to stand when it is cold and cannot stand outside. New location just opened, looks like they were understaffed, arrived at 1:15 pm. Every table had soiled dishes like 30 of them. We were shown to one of the clean tables and were greeted promptly. I have eaten at several First Watch locations so I was familiar with their menu. The speed of service was on point, but the attentiveness of the server was affected by all the dirty tables they were trying to recover from the lunch rush. Although we didn't eat inside the decor looking very modern and appealing. We are out doors as it was a warmer autumn day. Although there were plenty of seats in the area, not sure why we were seated next to the only other table with people (especially during our Pennsylvanian Covid rise ) and at the curb next to the road. Other than that however, the staff was very professional, accommodating, and quick with drinks, food and check. The food was very delicious and presented nicely. As you can see we both had the pumpkin pancake breakfast . It was a moist and fluffy pancake that was a perfect portion (wasn't thrilled with the little seeds in it however...maybe sunflower, but only a few), tasty seasoned Turkey sausage, 2 eggs any style (mine were ordered up and slightly runny which they were perfect). Loved the bottle of syrup provided for the pancake (not just those mini plastic containers that are difficult to open), AND it was warm too (great idea! Doesn't cool off the food when used). I wasn't thrilled to have to go back inside however to pay, but they processed my payment quickly too. I'll be back soon and plan to eat out side as long as the weather is good. Try it, I think you'll like it. To those who may have had some troubles there, give it a second chance. read more

Additionally, there were pieces of chocolate from a previous order carried into my lemon pancakes. I understand cross contamination can happen but there was a lot and I am allergic to chocolate. Well this was my first time at this place and I'm going to tell you all about it. I was greeted by a wonderful young lady when I first opened the door. Great welcome! When I first walked in I was taken aback by the wonderful country chic meets modern esthetic. It's very refreshing and the color choices are pretty wonderful. The server that I had was very attentive and very genuine. We didn't ask for much because she popped in the right amount of times. Not too much so I couldn't enjoy my meal and not too little that I had to go searching for her. The salmon eggs Benedict was cooked perfectly and was brought out fast and fresh. Excellent cooks back there! All of the staff seems friendly and very quick at their jobs. The only drawback is that the music and the hustle and bustle of the restaurant makes a kind of noisy place. I ordered avocado toast and the million dollar bacon, and he the salmon Benedict. The bacon was fantastic! Sweet and salty and syrupy Candy yummy. The avocado toast was good, could have used a wee more seasoning for my taste, but tasty and fresh, and the scrambled eggs I ordered were cooked beautifully. The salmon Benedict was tasty as well as the fresh greens on the side, the greens took the show as they weren't bitter with just a hint of dressing. The water was actually really tasty!
