My belief is if you can't prepare a brisket up to a certain standard you shouldn't offer it on the menu, especially as the daily special. It was a very meager effort. I dont know if the new owners are relaxing their standards, but it would be huge mistake to do so. This visit will not prevent us from visiting again, but we expect better.

Absolutely, our favorite place for breakfast or lunch. My husband and I eat there at least once a week. The food is amazing. It's healthy which is important to us. The atmosphere welcoming. They have great seasonal specials. We, of course, have our favorites, the breakfast tacos for my husband, and the chicken pesto quinoa for me!The servers really strive to make sure you have a wonderful meal from smiling, just making you happy, to making sure the food is to your liking.We absolutely love all the servers. I dare not start mentioning names because if I leave one of them out, I'll feel horrible. I do need to say, though, Klaire is near and dear to our hearts. You could be in a down moment, completely Hangry, or any other state, and Klaire will bring you up, make you feel special, and you'll leave not only having had great food, but with the warm fuzzies! If you are there, like we were for our anniversary, she treated us like royalty. One last shout out and major kudos to Stacey, the manager. Not only does she run a superb establishment, she has the love and respect of her staff and her customers. We were not impressed. No water was offered when we sat down. My beverage order was actually forgotten until I had to ask for it after our food arrived and I was never offered a refill throughout the meal either which is a big pet peeve of mine in restaurants. My poached eggs were actually about raw inside so I didn't eat them for fear of getting ill. The potatoes were so undercooked they were hard. And a cherry on top was the mold I found on one of the grapes in my fruit cup. I did not finish my meal. Will not be back. read more
