First time diner at First Watch and it was delicious. This restaurant isn't your greasy spoon breakfast spot but I love the healthy alternatives it offers. My party ordered the Tri-fecta, Morning Meditation fresh juice, kale tonic fresh juice, half waffle, farm stand breakfast tacos, million dollar bacon, & kids bacon & egg. The bacon is the best I had in a long time. The farm stand breakfast tacos came with wheat tortillas which I'm not a fan of but couldn't even taste the difference. The service is good and the wait wasn't long. It's kid friendly to enjoy breakfast, brunch, and lunch at. It looks like it will be a new fan favorite in the CSRA. read more

OMG....did we find a real live, quality eatery? Nope. Found hairs in both breakfasts this morning...the hard way. Yum! Aside from the extra keratin (hair), eggs were over cooked and old, coffee was unremarkable, and artisan jam was just plain old strawberry. Multigrain bread, cold brew coffee, and fresh kale juice were remarkably good. Will hit this place again....for another chance (we really want this place to be our new gem). May be a Sunday brunch? A warning: use their website to book a place in line - the wait was quite long this morning (Sunday after 11, so there's that). My wife had a good analogy to describe our experience: "This is the Frog Hollow of breakfast." Everything from server to meal was A+. I had the prima hash and my wife had the chickichanga. She commented that she may have had too much sauce and the chorizo was a bit spicy (for her), but still overall wonderful. My meal was outstanding: eggs fluffy, lots of Italian sausage, and fresh ingredients everywhere. Okay, the food is amazing here. The waffles are hot and soft, not heavy, hard, and cold, which is how Belgian waffles are in every other breakfast place in the CSRA. The service is great but the kitchen is pretty slow. No worries, because it's worth the wait. It's always busy but again, worth the wait. We were greatly disappointed by the food and service at first watch today. When we were first seated, the server asked for what drinks we wanted. One person in our party asked for the million dollar Bloody Mary. Which is advertised as below. Our server brought out a pop bottle that was initially half full of just tomato. After telling her, she brought back another bottle claim it had 2oz of liquor. It didn't and was definitely not worth the 10$. Next was the bacon, first the million dollar bacon was burnt. This is one of their highest grossing products and they had apparently ran out. The normal bacon was covered in grease from the stovetop. The server was overall incompetent. While we were waiting for our food she was seemingly distracted other staff that were trying to work. We will not be using this establishment again until they fix the clear problems they have here. Another great breakfast (and lunch!) spot for Augusta! I was glad to be able to try it for breakfast one weekday morning and the secret is out because it quickly got busy soon after opening. The waitstaff was excellent and I don't say that easily. They were friendly and attentive and not pushy at all. We did linger and while she came to check on us, it felt just like that and not like I was being pushed out the door. I ordered the Eggs Benedict Florentine. It came with a side of greens lightly dressed and spinach under the eggs. Another reviewer mentioned she felt her eggs were over cooked. Got here around 8 am in the morning. There was already a good amount of people for it to be a Saturday morning however there was no wait. The lighting was great . The environment was busy but pleasant. Now the food was beyond delicious ! My meal gave me a homey one pot meal feel. The goat cheese was so flavorful. The eggs could have been scrambled a little more cooked. It cave with fresh fruit . The toast was perfect. My cousin chikichanga was more of luxury breakfast taco made out of egg. My husband and I decided to try this place for the first time and it was ok. I got the short rib omelette with potatoes. It was really good and full of meat. I was surprised at how much meat was inside. My husband got the Chile chorizo omelette and did not enjoy it. He said there was barely any chorizo inside of it and the little that was there did not have any flavor. He had potatoes on the side as well and he enjoyed them. I was in Augusta visiting my sisters and we came here for brunch on a Friday about an hour before they close. I live really close to a First Watch in Atlanta but this was my first time visiting one. The restaurant is located in a plaza with Sprouts and other stores and it has a large shared parking lot. When we got there the restaurant was crowded but we were able to get a booth in the corner of the restaurant. This was my first indoor dining experience since the pandemic so I was a little uneasy. Our server was really nice, attentive, and patient as we decided what to order but he wasn't wearing a mask when he came to take our orders or bring our drinks which made me cringe a little. They also weren't wearing masks when they brought out our food. Onto the actual food. I eventually settled on the trifecta which comes with your choice of a single multigrain pancake or Belgian waffle, two scrambled eggs, and your choice of a chicken sausage patty or turkey sausage. I opted for the pancake and the chicken sausage patty. Their pancakes are huge and they note as much on their menu. I was full after the one pancake which was good because it was all I ended up eating. The eggs were disgusting, sorry to say. They were dry, hard, and rubbery. The chicken sausage patty had some flavor to it but it was incredibly flat so it was hard to tell. My sisters did seem to like what they ordered though. One of them had the chicken chorizo wrap with a side of roasted potatoes. I tried the potatoes and they were very good. Well-seasoned and crispy. I didn't try it but I was told the bacon was also very good. Their menu is big so there are plenty of options. There were some other menu items I was debating between like their lemon ricotta pancakes and their superfood bowl so if I go again I'll try one of those. I also ordered their Watermelon Wake-Up drink which had watermelon, pineapple, lime, and mint. Watermelon was definitely the predominate flavor and I got a small hint of the pineapple. The interior of the restaurant has industrial style decor that features hanging light bulbs, exposed ducts and a wooden feature wall behind the bar which is located in the center of the restaurant. Overall, I'm not opposed to trying First Watch again but I'm not rushing back to this location in this particular and I would definitely avoid any egg based dishes. read more

This location is the first one I have been to for this franchise and I am hooked! The inside of the building and all of its facilities are always clean and they continue to follow Covid guidelines, which is huge for me since it makes me more comfortable bringing my family in for a family brunch. The ambiance is always nice and chill, the staff is always friendly, and the food and drinks are absolutely incredible and delicious. I would continue to go for the Kale Tonic alone. It's always hard to choose what I want to eat since everything looks so great and mouthwatering. The classic eggs benedict is always one of my favorites. This location has only been open for about a month and a half and the combination of everything is the reason I believe they have been getting a great amount of customers coming in to enjoy a wonderful meal with friends and family. It is certainly the reason I will continue to come! The interactions with the manager/owner have always been great and I can only hope to continue to have incredible experiences with every time I choose to eat here! read more
