We sat at the bar at this particular location, and I have to say the woman n Was just not friendly. A smile, and a friendly hello do not cost anything. Augusta is blowing up with lots of New Restaurants! And of course I most definitely had to try this place. I'd heard so many wonderful things about it. They are located in a perfect area next to Sprouts in Crane Creek. Before coming I'd already checked out their website which made my mouth water. I'm glad I did because I saw a statement saying join Waitlist! This is a must! They also have an app that allows you to do so as well. Wait time was an hour. When I arrived there was a member standing outside taking names and check ins. I got a text telling me my table was ready. It's beautiful inside and they are practicing social distancing and wearing mask. Our server Courtney was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us make our choices. We definitely built our own breakfast! We went the day before Christmas Eve. It was packed, but we used the option to add our name to the list and only had to wait 20 minutes once we did our final check in at the restaurant. The service was great. I have a special diet, and they made sure I had the option to custom my meal. I'm a big fan of First Watch, but this location is smaller than the ones I'm used to. If it's busy, it may be best to check in and then wait in the car. The waiting area gets super crowded on busy days. Overall, the vibe was good and the food was amazing as always. First Watch is surprisingly delicious. They pre-batch their alcoholic beverages and you cannot order anything else other then what's offered on the menu as far as drinks, which is genius because that keeps the flow fluid when it gets overwhelming busy. The menu itself is beyond creative yet superbly quite healthy for the most part minus some of the nightshade veggies in most of their menu items, however if you're not on a paleo type of diet then the menu should suit everyone well. There are many selections to accommodate a variety of different palettes. Overall I was beru impressed with their wellness juices and you can add a wellness shot that has vitamins c, d, b, elderberry and echinacea and I think a few other things. Its definitely a place everyone needs to check out. And if healthy eating is your lifestyle the First Watch is the place for you and even if you want to try something beneficial to the body come to First Watch. And when I walked in first watch this morning and saw blueberry lemon cornbread, it was over I had to try it!! When I tell you this exceeded expectations believe me you gotta try it for yourself... It was moist and the lemon butter on top made my stomach feel stuff it hasn't felt in a long time!! The rest of the food was good too. Everything looked exactly as pictured on the menu no complaints there but back to the blueberry lemon cornbread. This whole review could've just been about that because it was really that exceptional!! Finally made it in to try this place and was impressed. I will say the table we sat it seemed like it was placed as an afterthought, it was right next to the patio door in a small area, hard to explain. We started with the million dollar bacon, which is sweet and peppery and covered in syrup. I got a chocolate chip pancake and a "traditional breakfast" with scrambled eggs (I added cheese, onions and tomatoes), chicken sausage patties, toast, and seasoned potatoes. The syrup they brought out for the pancake was warm and delicious. And these were probably the best scrambled eggs I've ever had. They used sundried tomatoes which I wasn't prepared for but the flavor was just SO good. This was entirely too much food for me, but I really wanted a little bit of all of it. I'm really disappointed to give First Watch a 2-star review because I've been at this same location to dine in twice in the past, and I would have given it rave reviews if the visits were recent enough. I ordered online for take-out on a Sunday. I ordered at 11:45, and the website said that my food would be ready at 12:30. I got to the restaurant at 12:35 and asked one of the workers if my food was ready. She said that if it were ready, it would be on the table next to the front door where it's labeled "online orders." I figured that since they were busy, it would take a slightly longer time for them to make food, and I could forgive them for that. Cut to 1:20 when I actually get my food. I'm a busy person (as we all are), and I'm lucky I didn't have any other commitments scheduled for the day because I really didn't anticipate spending 45 minutes standing around waiting for my food to be ready. They either need to change their online ordering to more accurately reflect the time it would take for food to be ready, or actually get the food out on time. I was relieved to finally get my food, as I thought that would be the end of my dissatisfaction. But lo and behold, when I get home to unpack my food, I notice a piece of... napkin? stuck on top of one of the slices of my million dollar bacon. See the picture attached to this review. I think that was the item I was most excited for, and seeing it be tainted is incredibly infuriating. I called the store asking for a refund on just that item, and they said the manager was busy and would call me back either later that day or the next day. I get radio silence, and it's been 3 days since I made the call. I think a refund is the least I can get from them? Instead I'm here writing this review, disgruntled and sad about my food. Only good thing I can say is that the person on the other end of the phone was nice and apologized multiple times, saying that she hopes I still come back in the future despite this issue. The food is actually not as good as I remember it to be from my last two experiences here. The blueberry muffin top griddle cake (summer seasonal special) tasted like regular pancakes with the berries from Costco's berry sundae on top. The hacienda hash was just ok, and not very noteworthy, even with the chorizo in it. Unfortunately, I don't anticipate coming back anytime soon. :( read more

No false advertisement there . $14.28 I ordered the French toast, turkey sausage and scrambled eggs. The eggs were good, the turkey sausage was over cooked. Now the French toast flavor was on point and I would've loved to get it again. However $10.99 for one piece of French toast is not worth it at all. A complete RIP OFF. Before coming to this restaurant I looked up the menu for dine in and menu for online ordering and ALL the photos show me getting more than (1) piece of French toast. I felt like I ordered a kids meal, I had to order extra French toast. Our total was about $59 bucks BEFORE any tip. I checked online yet once again and it's about $33 INCLUDING tax for the Trifecta, Million dollar bacon x 2 and OJ. So you mean to tell me we were charged $26 for FRENCH TOAST. Ridiculous I tell you. I need someone to explain this to me. We love great food and don't mind paying for it. But don't rip people off by proving false advertisement. We were very pleased with brunch yesterday. We reserved a spot in the on-line waitlist and were seated almost immediately when we arrived. It was very seamless. Our food was great. I had the Trifecta which came with a delicious Belgian waffle with warm Maple syrup, a sausage patty, and scrambled eggs with cheese. The eggs are cage-free. I added on a side of cheese grits. The food is delicious, fresh, and perfectly prepared. I've been to their locations in Atlanta but this was the first time I got to visit the one in Augusta. My wife got their turkey gravy biscuits and gravy and she was like a kid in a candy store. I thought it was a little spicy this go around, but my wife was super happy. It also came with eggs and potatoes. She is a little disappointed as everytime she gets potatoes half are always a little underdone and the other half burnt. Stopped here for the first time for brunch for special occasion: Valentine's Day. Decided to do the "Get in Line" option online to make the wait time less. And yes! That is a great option and will definitely shorten your wait time. We waited about 5 min. before being seated; there was a customer in front of us who was told a 45 min wait time. So again, if you can, do the "Get in Line" option online via their website to cut your wait time. Love the ambiance as it is a cool vibe, very clean restaurant and friendly greeters and staff. The food is top notch fresh and delish! Several options to choose from and the reviews online are 100% spot on! We enjoyed our food choices and will definitely go back. The waitress recommended a side dipping and the dish was good - a little heavy on peppers and onions and light on meat. The bf ordered a staple breakfast - he enjoyed it and the kid ordered pancakes. They were equally delicious. She even was sure to bring warm syrup. The coffee was brewed fresh and hot and comes in a serving pitcher - so no wait on refills. I got the Elevated Egg Sandwich without avocado. Maybe it was because I took it out, but it seemed like little filling and a lot of bread. Tasted good though! The french toast was delicious and the carrot cake pancakes were good (and huge). My friends loved the biscuits and gravy! The potatoes were a little burnt in spots, but tasted good too. I found a short black hair in my food, but it wasn't a big enough deal to send it back. Overall, pretty good and I think I'd eat there again.
