This place is a nice breakfast spot. Had a modern market kind of feel to it. Don't be fooled by the entrance. It kind of looks like a dentist office from the outside being tucked in the back corner of the Arvada Shopping Market. When you get inside though the ambiance is wood tables and rustic artwork on the walls. Food is good. The waffles are fluffy and soft with a nice crispy exterior. They serve warm syrup! Which honestly is such a nice touch. The coffee is just traditional diner Java. Which is not a bad thing. The star of the food though is the fruit compote they served with the waffle. That stuff was amazing! The kind of thing you could spread on a flip flop and it would taste good! Seriously whatever you order. Make sure you get some of that stuff. Service was super fast and friendly. Prices were reasonable in the current market. I'll be back and I suggest if you're reading this and considering. Give this spot a try. A great and popular breakfast spot in the area. Came on a Saturday at around 10am and the wait was already about half and hour. They put me in a waiting list via phone and we got called in pretty quickly. Ordered the quinoa bowl wi egg, overall I felt the dish could have been more flavorful but paired with the salted potatoes from the eggs sandwich dish it was perfect. They had a seasonal pear and like juice with cane sugar that was super delicious ! read more

Wonderful, creative breakfast dishes. Nice outdoor seating. Great service. I should have more thoroughly read the description of the Chickiechanga. I was picturing a deep fried breakfast burrito. However, the dish was much more unique and flavorful than I expected. It was a thin omlette cooked until it was crispy and then wrapped around the chicken and green chilies like a crispy tortilla. Really creative and delicious. Each time our server came out to check on us, she brought me a refill on my diet coke, which was awesome, and she even offered to grab me a to go soda as we were closing out. We decided to order some million dollar bacon after putting in our main dish orders. It did not arrive until much later, after we were finished with out meals and inquired about it. Some of them are so called fast food but like First Watch a few are leaning towards healthy offerings. Case in point my order of the Trifecta with Bacon. It's your choice of two eggs with two pieces of bacon and their almost dry wheat pancake. Thanks to their thoughtful warm syrup I was able to tolerate that pancake. That's somewhat healthy for me. Super loud inside, but there's some seating outside. The "modern croque madame" is basically a BLT on dry bread with a barely cooked egg on top of a little bit of creamy sauce. The kale salad is some dry kale and mesclun thrown on top of (not tossed with) dressing, with a lot of craisins and slivered almonds -- like a thrown-together home salad, the only exception being the roasted carrots. I love this chain and so happy it came to this location in Arvada. It has always been a great place to get a good breakfast quickly, no matter where this chain is located. Coffee came out quickly in a thermos that really kept the coffee warm. My order was taken promptly and the food came out shortly thereafter. My favorite part of this chain - they dropped the check while I was eating. I know this annoys people, but when I want a delicious, freshly cooked breakfast and I don't have the time to sit around all morning, this chain has always been my go to. And they've never disappointed. Payment was taken at the front, as always, so I don't have to wait for a server who might be busy. I think I was in and out in 15-20 minutes. Not bad! Familiar with this restaurant from a Nashville visit. This spot opened up near Olde Town about a year ago now and has remained popular. Partner came in with a coworker for lunch and said service was decent. Quick food and a great value. Generally we come on a Saturday or Sunday morning and it's always been pleasant. I would say make it here before 9:30 otherwise you WILL have a wait. Even for the community table. We make it over around 8:15-8:30 and are seated immediately every time. Nice modern decor. Free Wifi. Booths, two tops, four tops, all the staples. Get the morning meditation juice. Coffee, orange juice, water that's all fine but don't lose out on the morning meditation. SERIOUSLY. No alcohol so you'll have to get your breakfast bloodies elsewhere. This is certainly a family place. Bring your grandparents or parents and avoid the huge Snooze lines. Torn between a three or a four rating for this place. Have to go with a three because the menu variety could be better. Not a lot of sweet options, even for a healthy place. They do have the usual omelette suspects and some griddles they sound suspiciously the same as the omelettes (minus an egg or two and with more cheese.) A seasonal menu is a nice touch but overall I find myself only getting three menu items time and time again. I'll certainly be back when my family visits for breakfast. I really enjoyed my experience at First Watch. I would love to give them 5 stars but the wait was almost an hour to be seated for breakfast. That wasn't the only issue. My father in law checked us in and they use the yelp app to track your spot in line. He had no idea how to use it so had I not been around to explain this to him he would've had a hard time. It would be nice if the hostesses could explain how the digital side of things work for the convenience of their older customers. Once we were seated we were promptly greeted and given coffee. After speaking with the manager of the place in Arvada. He sent me two First Watch bucks. He defended the waiter that was very unprofessional. I did not want to go back to the place in Arvada because of that. I chose to go to their place in Wheat Ridge. Wow what a difference. Alix was very professional. She made us feel welcome. Oh no!!! Today was just sad sad sad. Hubs and I were so excited to be in the area for brunch today. But from the moment we sat down, the vibe today was very different. (I would like to note that we've been to the one in Northglenn a couple of times and were fairly pleased with them.) We wanted a booth and unfortunately all of them were dirty. No matter, we were ok waiting for our server to come clean it and offer us drinks. Hubs looked at the menu, decided what he wanted, went to the restroom and was back before our server ever showed up. When our server showed up she arrived with coffee (we can't have caffeine) but I appreciated the thought. We were ready to order, water to drink, hubs got his favorite roast beef sammie and I ordered the pumpkin spice pancake meal, eggs basted. When I got back from the restroom the water jar was on the table. It had grease all inside and outside of the bottle. Gross. It was solid droplets of grease all inside and outside. How did she not notice this? I don't know but we waited 10 mins before I finally just got up to take the jar to the hostess instead. We saw the server 2 more times. To drop the food off and to drop the check off. Her attitude wasn't terrible but we felt like an annoyance not a customer. The food? Well Hubs enjoyed his sandwich but I was not pleased with my meal at all. The eggs were clearly not fresh (fresh yolks stand high and proud. See pics of my sad eggs) my chicken sausage was so tough and the pancake somehow got water all over it so it was soggy (maybe from the basted eggs?) Needless to say, I left hungry and we both felt just so let down. I want to go back but I'm not sure if hubs will allow it. Come on First Watch, I KNOW you are better than this. Please. And the Million Dollar Bacon...words escape me. Omgosh sooooooo damn good!!! Second Course: Truffled Wild Mushroom Frittata. This was also delicious. It was my least favorite but I'd still eat it any day. Third Course: Roast Beef & Havarti Sandwich on Parmesan crusted sourdough bread. Lordy I'm drooling just thinking about it. Every time I come to First Watch I am never disappointed. When you first arrive you are asked to check in and give them a phone number so you will be notified when a table is available. Then at every table there is coffee cups, and silverware waiting. The staff gives us the appropriate amount of time to look at menu, as well as tend to our drinks as needed. I am a creature of habit but when it comes to this place I feel adventurous and try something new every time. I am never disappointed. I've never had a granola that has maintained crunchyness through a minimum of 30 minutes. You may also purchase their coffee to brew at home or elsewhere which I enjoy very much. Perfect breakfast spot for a party of one, two or more. We came here for a breakfast with a party of nine and we were able to be seated right away. The carnitas was a bit different than what am used to but nonetheless, delicious. The carnitas were tender and very moist, no crunchy bits at all. We searched Yelp! and discovered First Watch, and I'm glad we did. First Watch has only been open for about 2 - 3 months. The interior is large, with high ceilings, and wooden looking tile floors. There are tables, and a community table. I don't believe there were booths. The interior has blacks, grays, greens, tans, and whites. There is enough space to walk between tables, but a baby stroller would be tough. Music plays in the background, but the noise level is loud, so it's difficult to hear the music. Lots of windows, so it's bright and cheery inside too. Both my husband and I instantly liked the restaurant when we walked in. The hostess stand is inside the door, with a few seats for patrons to sit at while waiting for their table. You will have to wait, as the restaurant is popular, but it's worth it. Service is good, not too much, and not in your face either. The menu is varied, with something for everyone. The prices are comparable to other breakfast restaurants as well. I had the traditional breakfast: bacon, eggs, potatoes, toast. It was cooked to order, and tasty. You can substitute Gluten Free bread with no upcharge, which is great! My husband had the Chickichanga, which was, "whipped eggs with spicy all-natural white-meat chicken, chorizo sausage, green chilies, Cheddar and Monterey Jack, onions and avocado rolled in a flour tortilla. Topped with Vera Cruz sauce and sour cream. Served with fresh fruit and fresh, seasoned potatoes." He said it was very good, and he would get it again. The menu also includes omelets, salads, sandwiches, eggs benedicts, frittatas, and power bowls. One of the power bowls, the Power Breakfast Quinoa Bowls, has, "Protein-packed quinoa, Italian sausage, house-roasted Crimini mushrooms and tomatoes, kale, Parmesan and EV00. Topped with two basted cage-free eggs*." I want to try this one. There are breakfast tacos, skillets, and so many other things as well. I want to try it all, but not at the same time! The coffee was good too, and you can get a cup while waiting, at no charge! There is a large private parking lot, which is shared by all of the other stores in the area, but there is plenty of free parking! The restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch, which keeps them busy. Good food, good service, good prices, free parking, comfortable interior. I decided to use their "wait in line" feature to put my name on the waitlist and drove my way over. As soon as I arrived to the restaurant I was seated immediately. How awesome is that? They have a large array of breakfast options. People with any type of dietary restriction can find something on their menu. From meat lovers, vegans, vegetarians, and gluten free people! I've passed by this location many times on my drive home from work and finally got a chance to stop today before my friend's fitting at the bridal shop. The waitress was prompt, brought water and coffee for the table right away, and was prompt with our order. The Million Dollar Bacon was delicious, could have been a bit crispier for my taste. My friend and I both had the Mexican Street Corn Hash and found it very delicious. Our other friend had a chocolate chip pancake and found it the perfect size. The price point was perfect for the amount of food we got, and the quality was great for the price. No complaints on my end. The size and selection of the menu was also great, we just happened to find what we wanted right away on their summer menu for those of us that ordered the elote hash (pictured here). Unfortunately it took us about ten minutes to get attended to when it was not busy, another person got attended to before we did and that's cause the person arrived there after us. I love eating here! The food and drinks are very good. Unfortunately today I ran into an issue where I placed an online order and quickly realized I lost my car keys. All my fault, totally understandable. My biggest issue was when I tried to call and see if they could postpone my order I was connected to a call center. The lady at the call center tried to call the location and help me out but had no luck. She then gave me my locations number and I tried calling three times and still no answer. One of the things that stood out to me is that the fruit is super fresh! I recommend trying the chicken sausage, that really stood out to me. I'll have to come back because there were like 20 other things I need to try ok the menu. They do terrible with attending to the coffee and water. They rarely provide enough mugs without being asked, waiting on coffee and water takes much longer than it should, and once we went our whole meal without being brought any water. Server checked on us frequently and cleared out tables promptly of unnecessary dishes, etc. One thing that I didn't like is their system will the bill. We were in the middle of eating when the bill came out. I understand no rush and what not but I just find that anything. You also take it the the front counter to pay.
