They were not busy and in spite of that the servers didn't seem interested in waiting on us. It took 30 minutes for our food to arrive! I was in the area for work recently and had a break in between sites. So my coworker and I popped in for lunch. It was our first time. We were seated right away. It felt great being able to eat a healthy meal that wasn't fast food junk. My coworker couldn't decide so he order to combo lunch (half sammich, salad and added a cup of soup). He said it was delicious. No complaints. I ordered a salad. It tasted amazing. I'm glad the dressing was on the side. I didn't care for it and ate my salad without dressing. I honestly think that speaks volumes on the taste and quality of the salad because I'm definitely a person that will go HAM on ranch. I wish they had this chain in my state. This is my second time hitting up this spot, the first time being a business breakfast with some co-workers. I remember that time, also being happy with my food and we were all commenting how the food was great and fresh. This time I was meeting up with my cousin visiting from out of town on a Saturday, around 9am, we were seated promptly although it was pretty busy. What I swallowed: *SMOKED SALMON BENEDICT: I love me some smoked salmon benedict and this was great. I think the bread could have been a little more toasted but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The side of fruit was also very sweet and fresh. Our server was really nice, she happily refilled our juices and coffee while my cousin and I catch caught up chatting away for several hours. Not surprised that this brunch spot is so popular! Came here some Saturday morning with a group of 8 people (predominantly kids) and we waited about 30 minutes for a table. Decent amount of open space for the kids to squirrel around as they grew impatient. Parking in this strip mall lot filled up quickly with customers from all the neighboring businesses. Unsure how our visit compared to weekdays, but I'm guessing this was on the busier side. Customer service is fantastic. Our wait staff was great with the kids. Clearly they get a lot of families. I ordered one of the seasonal specials on the menu, Tacos Al Pastor Hash. I'm one of those crazy people that likes pineapple on pizza, so I was thrilled to have it in my dish accompanying potatoes and pork. One of the better breakfast places in this area. I've been eating at First Watch for two decades and know their menu very well. This location is great. The staff is responsive and the kitchen is quick and accurate, but not rushed. The coffee is good and hot, and the way leave you with a pot at the table, which is a lovely custom and reduces the pressure on the staff to come around and refill. The atmosphere is pleasant, not too loud, and the decor is clean and in good shape. When I have the time, I'll drive 25 minutes to get here, and combine the visit with a trip to Costco or Home Depot - both just across the street. Definitely recommended! On a weekend morning - be prepared to wait for a table, but it's worth it!! read more

Their breakfast potatoes could have been plain potatoes like you get anywhere, but these were really good and flavored with onion and butter. I'm trying to watch my salt intake and this place was a bad mistake. I had the pork hash and it was mainly just fried potatoes topped with some eggs and topped with salt, and lots of it. Eggs were cooked perfectly, never really figured out where the pork was - it was a soggy dish, not a crisp hash. My wife had avocado toast which she enjoyed and a side of million dollar bacon which she wanted to split with me. It's hard for me not to eat bacon and I've had this particular dish at other locations and liked it, but here....well you guessed it - salty as hell and limp. 4 slices of bacon and we could only choke down 3. Hostess seemed to be having a bad day? No friendliness there at all. "Thanks for coming in and happy holidays" could have been spit out from the computer behind the desk and it would have sounded the same. had a bit of a laugh about it actually. ;-) Service was great. First Watch is constant across the board on each location. I've been to locations in Wisconsin, Virginia, and now Colorado and it's consistently good no matter what location you go to. The servers greet you right away and it doesn't take that long to get your meal after you order. If you're a breakfast person this is your place to go to. First Watch is one of my favorite chain restaurants and truth be told, we don't often frequent chains and opt to find mom and pop options. But, First Watch is def one of my go tos. I also love the clean lines, modern farmhouse decor and small touches. They've also recently added alcoholic options. We tried two and were impressed. I'm thinking the vodka cancels out the kale juice though, lol. We ordered the bacado omlette and farmhouse hash. Both cooked to order, flavorful and fresh. We always eat well here. This was my first time at a First Watch and I will definitely be back! It was delicioussss. I wanted to try so many things on the menu, everything seemed good. Both of our meals were great, and even my annoying fussy friend liked his so that's a good sign. The restaurant seems a little trendy and fun too, which you don't get much in this area of town. It's a really large place too so we didn't have to wait but I'm sure on the weekends it's pretty busy. Parking is easy! In sum: This was my first time at First Watch, and although their menu seemed very delicious and abundant, I may have ordered the wrong thing for myself, but the service was pretty great. In terms of COVID as well, everything is back to full function and we didn't see masks on anyone, just a slight caution to the COVID-cautious, this doesn't affect my review. On the bottom of the receipt, there is also an option to write down your contact info for contact tracing in case any worker tested positive and they could let you know if you choose. I thought the service was pretty impressive, our waitress was kind. We had a party of 6, and when we were ordering, our waitress didn't write any of our complex order down but everything we were given was perfect and correct, so that was fantastic! We were checked on a couple of times which was great, we knew that the place was busy. For the Tri-athlete meal: I thought it was close to average or below average. My omelet seemed very watery for some reason, and I thought that the veggies were lacking in flavor. The green bell-peppers and mushroom, alongside the whole omelette seemed a bit like one could make it themselves at home for less. The tomatoes and bell-peppers seemed a bit like it was picked from a salsa jar, that's what the consistency felt like. I I wasn't a huge fan personally. The toast and jam were pretty good! I did get a side of tomato basil instead of the fruit, I'm a pretty big soup gal. I wasn't a fan. It was very thick, and I'm fine with thicker consistencies, but I felt like it was too thick and just had a strange taste. I couldn't put my finger on it, but it just didn't hit the spot for me. It did come with a size of crackers! Overall, I think this restaurant seems pretty great! I just wouldn't recommend this meal. read more

I've been to this particular location a few times, and the service never disappoints. The waitstaff and front-end team are fast, accommodating, and helpful. Even though we needed to wait longer than usual for our food, our waitress kept in touch with us and let us know what was happening. We were never just left without any communication. In addition, our waitress offered to give us a complimentary Blueberry muffin while we waited. We declined, but the offer was sincere, and we appreciated it. We ordered two items; the 1/2 Roast Beef and Havarti on the Parmesan Sourdough bread with the side salad and the Power Bowl - Pesto Chicken Quinoa (see pictures) The Roast Beef and Havarti sandwich was just okay. The Roast Beef was on the bland side, needed seasoning, and while the Parmesan Sourdough bread was good, the flavor actually overpowered the Havarti cheese, so the two flavors fought each other. The side salad included with the sandwich was okay, but the kitchen team used too much dressing and drenched the salad. I would recommend asking for the dressing on the side if you decide to try this particular dish. The Power Bowl - Pesto Chicken Quinoa was good and tasty! The portion size was adequate. Unless you have a serious hunger, I don't think you will leave unsatisfied. The ingredients in both meals were fresh. Even though the Roast Beef was bland, it was fresh and did not have that left-over taste you sometimes can get. Overall, it was a good meal. Just slightly disappointed in the sandwich/salad combination, but this won't stop us from coming back. read more

So, we were somehow seated smack dab in the middle of the fussy baby and restless toddler section. We also backed on to the kitchen area with all the associated noise. And, they messed up both our orders. Hers had well done poached eggs, and mine was the wrong skillet. However, our server was the friendliest, hardest working, "let me fix that for you" person I have encountered in a long time. She rescued our dining experience. First visit to this new location. Easy to get on the waitlist using Yelp. Fairly busy for Saturday, but we only waited about 15 minutes. They do have alcoholic beverages, but we opted for coffee and fresh juices. The Morning Meditation juice ii ordered was delicious. Only $3.99 for fresh oj, beet juice, ginger. They don't have a specific vegan menu, but there are a few options. Our waitress wasn't helpful in finding like to see them add a tofu scramble and plain avocado toast menu items. Your only option foot avo toast has eggs and cheese and other toppings. If you only want to toast and avocado you still have to pay $13. Not cool. The potatoes are very good as a side. I would say the star was the superfood bowl. It was delicious. Chia seeds with coconut milk, fresh fruit, and toast with almond butter. $10 is a great price for that I think. We were at our table dining for less than 30 minutes and the waitress brought our checks (you bring them to the front desk to check out). She wouldn't refill water and kept eyeballing our table waiting for us to leave. Staff could be a little more inviting considering you've spent money on food and should be allowed to finish it. Was so pleasantly surprised with this place!! This place is close by to me, but I never stopped in. I finally came here with my two siblings one morning and I'm so glad we did! The place is fairly big so it's probably a good option for groups! It has a farmhouse style atmosphere, so definitely casual. The food was great - bigger portion than I was expecting! We all got our own order but shared the lemon pancakes, and rhe pancakes were huge! Between the three of us we couldn't finish them. It kind of looks like a dentist office from the outside being tucked in the back corner of the Arvada Shopping Market. When you get inside though the ambiance is wood tables and rustic artwork on the walls. Food is good. The waffles are fluffy and soft with a nice crispy exterior. They serve warm syrup! Which honestly is such a nice touch. The coffee is just traditional diner Java. Which is not a bad thing. The star of the food though is the fruit compote they served with the waffle. That stuff was amazing! The kind of thing you could spread on a flip flop and it would taste good! Seriously whatever you order. Make sure you get some of that stuff. Asked to talk to manager and he could care less... This place when first opened was awesome unfortunately now they have management that doesn't care and emotionally unstable people working there. Go check them out if you want to pay for a full order only get half of it and then berated by an emotionally unstable employee. Will not go back to this location EDIT.... Gentleman from corporate contacted me.. he actually seemed liked he cared. Was wanting to comp the meal etc.. so at least the higher ups do care.
