My day began (Wednesday 2/22/23) with my yard man ringing my doorbell, which was quite unusual,…read morebecause I had already unlocked my back fence gate for him to gain access into my back yard, and had left his check clipped to the inside of my mailbox as I usually do, so I was at a loss as to what he was wanting or needing. It didn't take long for him to tell me I had a major water leak at my meter. I immediately called my community's Water Dept. and was told that they were estimating a 400 gallon per hour leak and they sent a service technician to shut my water off at the meter. I promptly called Mr. Plumber (owned by Mr. Rick Strickland) and spoke with Miss Lori, whom I have had the distinct pleasure of dealing with in the past, and she informed me that she wouldn't be able to get a crew out to me until the next day. I pleaded with her to ask her boss, Rick Strickland, if there was any possible way for them to get someone out to me today, and after placing me on a brief hold, came back on the phone with the good news that they would be able to get a crew out to me today! I soon received a call back from Lori advising me that a crew was on their way and would be here in approximately 20 minutes, which they were! They began digging up around the meter and found a cracked 90° PVC fitting and soon had it repaired and while waiting for the PVC glue to dry/set up, they began to address another issue in my back yard and soon had that issue identified and repaired, as well. I couldn't have asked for a better rapid response and repair than what I received from these professional young men! Kudos to you, Mr. Rick Strickland and your crackerjack team of consummate professionals! I felt that the price for all repairs was very fair and they gave me a "Senior's Discount", as well, which I greatly appreciated! Miss Cynthia was very kind and courteous whenever I called back in to pay my bill for their services. I highly recommend this plumbing service as they put their customers "first"!!! Keep Up The Good Work, Y'all ~

Brandon immediately recommended switching to electric would be the most cost effective. He called an electrician he has worked with, who turned out to be very reasonable and someone I will use in the future for my electrical needs, and the day after that work completed, Brandon & William quickly capped the gas line and replaced with a new electric water heater. Brandon was correct electric was much more reasonable price, in my case, than replacing with another gas water heater. Very happy I called Texans Water Heaters and pleased with their services every step of the way.

THE MOST EXPENSIVE ONE HOUR REPAIR IN HOUSTON…read more FIVE DAYS WITHOUT HOT WATER. A $1,000 LABOR QUOTE FOR A REPAIR THAT TOOK ABOUT AN HOUR AND THEN TRIED TO HOLD PARTS THAT BELONGED TO ME HOSTAGE WHEN i WANTED TO GET THE REPAIR DONE BY ANOTHER COMPANY. BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE, TEXAS WATER HEATERS SEEMED FAR MORE INTERESTED IN MAXIMIZING THE SERVICE BILL THAN HELPING RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM. USE EXTREME CAUTION AND GET A SECOND OPINION BEFORE APPROVING ANY REPAIR WORK. We purchased a Navien tankless water heater from Texas Water Heaters in December 2023 (their recommendation), including installation of a new electrical outlet. When the unit stopped producing hot water less than three years later, we expected a straightforward warranty repair. Instead, we spent five days without hot water while Texas Water Heaters turned a relatively simple repair into a frustrating and expensive ordeal. The technician initially told us the motherboard had failed, they were getting weird electrical readings and that labor would be covered because Texas Water Heaters had installed the electrical outlet. Texas water heaters then brought in an electrician, who claimed the outlet was functioning properly. After that, Texas Water Heaters changed course and presented us with a quote of $1,000 in labor (because we hadn't purchased their service package/labor warranty at time of install) to replace a fan and PCB control board, despite the parts being covered under warranty. YES, THEY TRIED TO CHARGE $1000 TO REPLACE TWO ELECTRICAL PARTS COVERED UNDER MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY IN ADDITION TO THE $89.00 service fee just to come out! The THOUSAND DOLLAR estimate to replace two electrical components IMMEDIATELY raised red flags. I contacted another Navien-authorized service provider, who told me the repair should take about half an hour and that their hourly rate was $175. Unsurprisingly, I chose the second company. The situation became even more frustrating when Navien informed us that Texas Water Heaters had arranged for my warranty replacement parts to be shipped to their office instead of my home. Navien further explained that because Texas Water Heaters had accepted delivery of the parts on my behalf, Navien would not send replacements and I would need to obtain the parts from Texas Water Heaters. When I called to request my parts, I was initially told they had to be returned to Navien. Only after I requested written confirmation that Texas Water Heaters was refusing to release parts that belonged to me did they call back and suddenly agree I could drive over and pick them up. The second service company completed the repair, installed the warranty parts, and performed a full tune-up for a little over $300.

The diagnosis was simple, it needed to be replaced. I whole-heartedly agreed with him. Mario Jr. also pointed out that the company that installed my tankless water heater did not install it up to code. I was very impressed with Mario Jr. as he was professional, knowledgeable, curtious, and eager to please the customer without being pushy. Mario Jr. discussed with me the pros and cons of a Navien vs Rinnai. (Rinnai is the system being replaced). I decided to purchase a new Navien tankless water heater as well as a pump for the farthest bathroom in the house to help circulate the water which also included shutoff valves for the cold and hot under the bathroom sink. After the install, Mario Jr. spent time with me explaining the Navien tankless water heater to ensure I was as knowledgeable as possible as a home owner. I was so impressed with the shutoff valves that I decided to purchase four shutoff valves for the other three bathroom sinks, kitchen sink, as well as the Navien App. Mario Jr. came back out and installed my additional purchases in a timely manner. He helped me connect to the Navien App and walked me through how it works. I am already setup on a yearly basis to have Mario Jr. come back out to my home and flush out my Navien tankless water heater. Mario Jr. is my go to plumber and Aberle Plumbing definitely has my business for any plumbing needs. I found Aberle Plumbing to be very reasonable with their pricing regarding my plumbing needs. The old phrase that first impressions are everything. Mario Jr. was an excellent first impression for me regarding Aberle Plumbing. Based on my personal experience, I highly recommend Aberle Plumbing. As a side note: It use to take at least two minute for hot water with the old Rinnai tankless water heater. With the new Navien tankless water heater it takes less then 20 seconds for hot water. What an amazing difference!!!
