Great service! We had a water service leak on a weekend (Dec 23) and he was the first person to respond when I posted on Yelp within a few minutes! One of his workers was at our house within the hour for a free estimate. During that one hour wait, I talked to the other plumbers who replied who also gave estimates based on the description. Several charged a high after hours fee ($150+) and some others wouldn't come until 12/26, unlike P&G! When P&G came, the worker dug the soil/mud until he found the leak and gave a very competitive estimate $250 (better than the other plumbers!) which included materials and labor as well as 1 year warranty. Gave it 3 weeks and had someone inspect it to make sure it wasn't a leak in my roof and there was never water in my ceiling again, so I called them and asked them to check it out as I believed they were at fault for the damages. Excellent same day service for a small leaky outdoor pipe. I don't trust google reviews (mostly bots) and Yelp seems slightly less fake so I took a gamble. Fortunately, Efrain was very quick to respond & identified the issue and quote with just a photo. The final price was exactly as quoted after work was done and paid with credit card. They dug out the pipe, replaced with new PVCs, and buried it again. Overall the job took 2 hours including a quick trip to the store for the right connector. Would definitely call again when we need plumbing work done! Update: maybe left the review too early, came home and found out that the meter box was buried nearly a foot away from its original position haphazardly. I guess the job truly is just fixing the pipe underneath. I need to get my tankless water tank flushed and since P & G Plumbing was one of the first few who answered me promptly, I decided to go with them. The plumber who came to my house was polite and did not try to sell me something else. He came on time; I just wish the person I spoke to on Yelp communicated with me that it was okay to move up the appointment one hour. Speaking of which, I was not happy with the lack of communications after asking for an appointment day/time. I almost called someone else to come do it for cheaper. They used vinegar to flush out my tankless water tank instead of stronger chemicals. Nothing wrong with vinegar but if I knew, I wouldn't agree to pay $349 and do it myself or hire a different plumbing company. Owner Efram gave the best estimate to repair a pipe under the house where roots obstructed one toilet from flushing. They dug 11 feet and repaired the pipe. It took 2 days to repair, the inspector arrived one week later and approved their work along with an engineer report. PG asked for the payment only after the inspector approved their work. The original plumber Mike Carey Plumbing charged 500$ for misdiagnosing the problem by replacing the toilet which did not solve the problem. The roots under the house were the problem. They then said it would cost over 5200$ to dig under the house. OMG. They were the highest estimate of all PG was more than 2000$ lower. PG came on time, Chris and Efram are honest, experienced, and so professional. I highly recommend this hardworking family run company. read more

Contacted this company on Monday and was able to get a response via Yelp same day. Chris and Will came to replace our 17 year old water heater bright and early the next morning. We had a bit of a miscommunication about a tall vs short water heater, which resulted in our quote going up from $1050 (super cheap) to $1400 (in line with other plumbers who were clear on us having to have a short water heater due to limited room in the attic). Who knew having a water heater that is 1 foot shorter would make it go up in price so much? Since I am super-paranoid about leaks, Chris was nice enough to explain to me where to look for possible problems, should they occur. Three days later, there's no sign of trouble, and we've had no problem with our hot water. Even at a lower setting, it's delivering hotter water than our old heater was, probably because there's not a hundred pounds of sediment in the way. Chris was also very helpful in explaining how to flush the heater every six months to prevent it from getting as bad as the old one. Altogether, they were very nice, and did adhere to Covid protocols for the most part. For the part where they are carrying the old, extremely heavy water heater down the stairs, they did ask if they could remove their masks, understandably. For that part, I just stayed kind of far away, and they masked up as soon as they were done with the heavy lifting. read more
