They use Bradford White water heaters which I think are one of the best out there. I had a state select I bought 8 years ago that started to corrode and break down. These bradford whites reduce the need to flush the tank and they use a coating inside to prolong their life. If your tank is 8 years and giving you trouble you might as well prepare to replace it. It just makes more sense. You can get at least 10 years with these BW tanks and probably much more if you have soft water or use a whole house water filter. Do some research on the BW tanks are made. They also installed a recirculation pump on the hot water side. I was having to wait 5-10 min before getting any hot water at my kitchen sink and these pumps almost nearly end the wait time. read more

SO happy I called Plumb Right Plumbing for help! After I smelled a slight gas smell in my attic, I called Centerpoint out. They detected a small leak, shut off my gas, took the meter and told me to call a licensed plumber. That was Saturday afternoon. Two other companies charged between $89-125 to come out on a weekend. The first estimate was so high I cried. Mark, from Plumb Right came out on a Sunday for A FREE ESTIMATE! On Sunday! He is pleasant and professional. He quoted the job for a MUCH more reasonable price and completed the entire project on the spot! This allowed me to have my gas back on by Sunday night. I am very grateful! We used this company to re-pipe our house in addition to a few other small jobs. We have been happy with their work and willingness to do what it takes to complete the job, even if that means coming back on a Saturday. Mark and his crew are professional and easy to work with. One word of caution and it's no reflection on Mark, but we needed someone to patch the holes in our sheet rock after the re-pipe work and he referred us to Cesar Dominguez with Dominguez Complete Home Repair. Beware of this company. They ripped us off and threatened to sue us for harassment after we contacted him about the problem. read more

Called for a quote to get a water heater flushed. Was told a plumber would have to come out to tell me how much it would be and I would pay a $60 trip fee. I'm not going to pay you $60 to quote me for a job that costs around $100; especially when other places are capable of giving me a quote. read more

Since I did not live in the house, daily observations did not occur. Ultimately a costly mistake. In the end, following more than three weeks of a "one-week job," there exists a list of unfortunate issues for which I truly attempted to work with the owner, Mark Chatham on. In turn, he has done nothing outside of producing obviously well-rehearsed excuses in a feeble attempt to justify poor delivery of a project. What Mark and Plumb Right Plumbing fail to understand is that the customer's perception is reality; that the customer's perspective is the important one... not his. Obviously, he has never taken his list of excuses to a bank and attempted to get money for them. He doesn't realize that they are worthless. Here is one example of the poor treatment you can expect if you use these guys: During the initial meeting, Mark told me they would tunnel to the kitchen from the side of the house opposite the front door. They would bring the new line out and around to the main in the rear of the house. I must have missed something due to the ensuing demolition of a large hole in my front porch and a hole sloppily chiseled through the brick next to the front door. Mark's response? "That's how we always do it." Never mind consulting with the customer, he acted like he believed that a clean-out servicing my kitchen sink would be okay sticking through the wall inside my all brick exterior foyer right at my front door! That's class!! Next, they broke a hole in a second brick on the other side of the house where they had a second clean out already installed approximately one foot off the side of the house... I suppose this is just more class Mark graciously incorporated into the job, because he got huffy when I objected. He actually told me that there would be additional cost to "Plumb it Right" ... never mind the careless destruction he caused to the once immaculate 60-year-old, irreplaceable brick right at my front door! In the end, a job that should've taken one week, according to Mark himself, took over three. To his credit, it did rain. The problem is that it rained on Sunday and he didn't pump out the excavation until Wednesday afternoon. This caused three days delay to an already late project. I suppose this is ok by him, since he had other issues he needed to tend to. Following disappointment after disappointment and much discussion concerning such, including Mark incorrectly stating that my backyard contained mostly weeds and he is not responsible for the careless destruction of the landscape, I sent him the following text in an effort to make my point clear: "The back yard was not all weeds, but that's fine Mark, we will do it your way. I will tell you that from a homeowner's perspective, this has been a very painful experience. I have unanticipated and unnecessary broken bricks on my house (which I agreed to fix), two clean outs in my backyard sticking up at unacceptable heights, two toilets which were left incomplete, or with broken supply lines (which I have agreed to fix), decimated landscaping as a result of complete disregard, a gate rendered inoperable (which I had to fix), and concrete on the front porch, which I have agreed to fix, but did not need to be demolished (based on the original plan of entry from the other side). That's a lot of unexpected damage of which most could've been avoided with a plan simply conveyed to the client. As a courtesy, which you did not afford me, prior to posting I will forward my review in the case you find something within it you would like to discuss." The next correspondence from Mark is a text telling me that he is headed my way and can meet me in order to collect the final payment. There is nothing relative to any of his poor workmanship or the damages he caused. Considering the debacle that I have experienced over the last month with this company, I am not surprised. My first solid clue presented it's self when the leader of the "excavation" company showed up sporting colorful shorts, a lime green sleeveless shirt and house slippers with white socks. While I'm not a fashion aficionado, my gut told me to pull the plug on this flaky operation. I didn't. That's where I went wrong. Will you make the same mistake? read more

EXTREMELY OVERPRICED. We hired them to do a very simple drain fix. After checking around, they really overcharged us. I would not use this company again. The office staff made an error recording my phone number and did not give me the notice requested for the plumber's arrival. Luckily someone was home to let the plumber in. The plumber was very professional and fixed the drain. However, I am very disappointed with the pricing. For such a simple job, I feel I was way overcharged. read more

I have know mark for years. His service has always been top notch. The most recent work he has done on my home was to replace two 40 gallon water heaters in series in the attic of a two story home. I was very worried about cost and potential damage to my home, but his men showed up looking, clean, professional and ready to work. They layed drop cloths down and vacuumed up all insulation when they finished and left the place looking better than it did before. The water heaters themselves looked fantastic with brand new supply lines and he even replaced my water and gas valves for free. If you need quality plumbers who know what they are doing and take their time, and who care about pleasing the customer versus getting home by 5 there's no one better in the cypress/Houston area. read more

We wanted another opinion, so we called PRP and they came and used their equipment and cleared it right up for less than $200. Plumb Right came out the same day I had an issue. They sent Doug French, who immediately made a great impression on my husband and I. Very honest man and hard worker. Our plumbing issue was a three day project and Doug stayed on top of it the whole time. I love that Plumb Right had an itemized pricing sheet, so you know that all their plumbers are going to give the same quotes for the same jobs. No making up quotes per customers. Plumb Right was hired to replace all the pipes and water heaters in my home. I also wanted some of my fixtures fixed and replaced in my showers and bathrooms. They made 43 holes in my ceilings and walls . They originally quoted 26, and I understand there will be some variability, but not to the extent that occurred. They damaged my master bathroom tile and put an additional hole in my ceiling when a pipe broke lose. They have not repaired this damage. They did not cover the floors or keep my home relatively clean. I have very light carpet that is new and I have to have it professionally cleaned now. About mid-way through the job, one of the pipes burst and water started pouring into my bathroom. I was in the house and was able to turn off the main. I called Plumb Right to report this incident and ended up talking to a supervisor who said he would come out the following day to inspect the work and talk to me. I don't know if he came out, but he did not talk to me. At the end of the job one of the spigots that was leaking, it looked like it was leaking through the wall. They came out right away, but I had to insist that they come out immediately. I was not sure if it was an emergency as I could not tell. The shower fixtures were put in poorly and I will have to get them repaired properly. The massive number of holes became a bigger issue as I am still trying to get these properly repaired. They appeared to have no experience doing this work but they conveyed that they did. I did not find them very knowledgeable or experienced. I feel that I have not been given the service that I paid for and my home is now in worse shape, not including the holes, than it was before I started. read more
