Initially, the technician quoted me $340 for a new airline for the dishwasher. I questioned whether simply cleaning the drain line would solve the issue, but he insisted that a new airline was necessary and that was the cost to fix it. However, when the technician returned, all he did was clean the drain line and then claimed that the price was the same whether they replaced the airline or just cleaned it-- which is completely absurd. Additionally, I asked to replace my sink with the same model we currently had, and the technician assured me it wouldn't be a problem. Yet, the replacement they installed was not the same sink we had shown them. When I originally booked the appointment, the lady on the phone was extremely helpful and pleasant. However, when I needed support, I could only get in touch with the technician instead. Fortunately, they did fix my toilet, but at a steep cost of $250-- the least they could do considering everything else. I've learned my lesson to shop around before hiring a plumbing service. A couple nights ago (Friday before 4th of July weekend, of course), the kitchen sink started to back up. It wasn't just a bit slow, it was pretty much unusable. I'm pretty sure I heard it laugh at me when I poured Drano down it. It did nothing. They responded quickly and were able to come out on Sunday. Boy, I'm glad they did! They pulled out so much gunk out of the pipes! I forget the name of the plumber that came out, but I appreciate his dedication towards ensuring we didn't need to have them come out again. He snaked the pipes almost all the way to the outside of the house, clearing out what was assuredly years of gross build up! We'll totally use them again if we have any other plumbing problems.
