They cut corners by improperly installing the coupling instead of replacing the whole pipe and wanted to charge me as if they did the work correctly. He called to update me and explain and answered all my questions. The jets were not working in the whirlpool tub at my rental house. I was worried it might cost twice as much or more (in which case i would have had a contractor take it out and put in a standing shower) but Josh had all the info on cost and options for me once he was able to reach the pump. Fortunately for all involved, I have been through an electrical repair before where it was the least invasive and disruptive to "open the wall" so I wasn't freaked out by that. He made good clean and tidy cuts which will be easy for me to float and repair. He also took care to protect my new carpet there and respected my time and my property.
