Fun atmosphere, great service and the food is the star of the show, as it should be! Had the veggie Benedict, yum!

Service here was just astonishingly bad - we spent way over an hour trying to get two drinks and a pizza, and that was after 10 minutes trying to find someone who would seat us. My gf is Latina, so maybe all the reviews about how racist this place is are right. That said, I don't generally knock off points for service, and the pizza and drinks were both very good, although VERY expensive (something like 70 euro for two drinks and a pizza). So if you want good food and don't mind terrible service from possibly racist workers, then it's worth it. read more

Firmine was an awesome find in Paris. A mix of Italian and French cuisine. This place delivers... the French onion soup was incredible. Escargots in a garlic pesto sauce.... Yummy. Grill fish and vegetables, pastas. Steak... all was excellent. Even better, service here was outstanding. Very friendly staff and place was nice and clean. Very inviting. I will definitely recommend this restaurant. read more

Great pasta and pizza. My wife got the carbonara which was delicious and I had the margarita pizza. One of the best pizzas I've ever had. My only complaint is that I wanted more basil on there but can't mess with tradition. It's also got a great location, right near the Eiffel Tower. read more

This was hands down one of the best pizza places I've ever had. The place is in a great location. Just a few short blocks from the Eiffel Tower. The prices are fairly reasonable, staff is super warm and friendly, and the restaurant itself is clean and cute! I had ordered the Regina pizza along with three others and LOVED it so much that I ended up ordering another. It was baked to perfection. So full of flavor! We had also ordered bottles of wine. It was priced fairly well for a restaurant and was delicious. The waiters were super energetic and made us feel at home with conversations and jokes. I had a blast at this restaurant. So happy I stumbled upon it. I will definitely return back on my next Paris trip. I highly recommend it!! read more

Not as great as expected. The bass was great only when tasted with the ratatouille. Service ok.

Went here for dinner because a friend recommended this place. We were immediately seated and what was great was they had an English menu available. For appetizers, I ordered foccacia and escargot. The foccacia came out warm and toasty. It had arugula, cherry tomatoes, and grated parmesan cheese. It was my first time eating escargot and man it was so good! It was drizzled in olive oil and I think pesto? Our order came with 12 snails that were pretty decent sized. For an entree, I ordered the carbonara. It was the best carbonara I've ever had! Highly recommend this place for the vibes and food. read more

We were walking by and saw this place filled with people laughing and enjoying their meals and drinks. We decided to sit down to try the escargot and the carbonara which seemed to be very popular. Let me tell you it lived up to they hype! The escargot was seasoned to perfection and my taste buds were in heaven! We also got the French onion soup which was the best we had when we were in Paris! I would highly recommend trying it! The prices on all the dishes seemed reasonable too. Our server was nice but it was weird when we got the check he asked me if I wanted to add tip. I found it kind of funny since they don't tip there. It's probably because he knew I was American . I ended up adding some tip because I did enjoy the food and the service as well. read more

We went here on Valentine's Day! It's walking distance from the Eiffel Tower but we were also coming from the direction of the Statue of Liberty! They have covered outdoor seating for smokers. We decided to sit indoors since it was a bit chilly outside. We ordered a bottle white wine since we were celebrating our engagement and I wanted something super sweet, haha. They gave us a sample to try to confirm we wanted it. We've been in France for a couple of days so I ordered a simple steak and fries! Pretty good and really filling. We also got onion soup and it was really comforting. The table next to me ordered pizza and it looked really yummy! If I'm ever come back, I might try their pizza! read more

Over priced for the food for tourists area. Hair was wrapped around my folk. Gross lost my appetite.

I absolutely love this restaurant and have been here 3xs during my trip. Gi aka Guillaume was my waiter 2 out of the 3 xs I was here. I had the chicken penna with mushrooms, make it spicy and hold the mushrooms. The food was well cooked and seasoned. I didn't need to add anything extra to my order. The portions were a good size so it was extremely filling. I know everyone else was satisfied with their options. Other options tried by the group were: onion soup, the Penna and Salmon and the spaghetti. They had out door seating and inside. We sat inside all of the times( it was as cold as bricks!) seating style is close together but we weren't on top of each other. The service was great, slower but Thats due to French culture based on what I perceived. Whatever we wanted or needed to be change was taken care of with no issues. I absolutely found my fav wine ,which my friends won't yell at me about since I only like sweet wines. We drank the Blanc Moelleux Élixir de Joy ,that's the specific brand. It was smooth not intoxicatingly sweet but it was noticeable. I also feel like wine in France is just so much smoother than from other places. Even the dry white that someone tried didn't taste that harsh to me. Wish I could take this restaurant home with me. And I wish I had time to try their pizzas! Loved this place over all and truly Enjoyed my Experience time and time again They are also one of the restaurants that are open later than others which was how we ended up here in the 1st place. read more

One of our absolute favorite places for dinner - so good we ate here TWICE! Service here is EXCELLENT. They check in on you regularly and monitor the pace of your meal so that you have time to eat the appetizer and your entrees come right after. We had the same server twice and he was awesome both times. We felt relaxed and taken care of both times and we would DEFINITELY be back if we come back to Paris. The first time we ate here we ate outside - had red wine, the tomato and burrata mozzarella, lasagna (hubby thought it was too cheesy), spaghetti with Bolognese sauce, and their dessert sampler. The second time we ate here we tried escargot (very good and liked the herbs and butter sauce) and we both got the spaghetti. We were very impressed with this place. Take time to come here to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. read more

We enjoyed lunch here after visiting the Eiffel Tower. We started with the escargot; my husband had the 4 cheese pasta and I had the steak. The escargot was delicious; I would definitely recommend ordering it. I didn't like our entrees as much. My steak, while well cooked, was a bit fatty and chewy. I also wished it was served with a salad in addition to the frites. My husband's pasta was good, but definitely had a strong taste of Gorgonzola. read more

The food was so yummy. We went because the reviews on the carbonara were really well, and yes it was yummy, but the best was the pizza. The parm pizza was everything I wanted it to be and more. Busy Saturday evening got seated relatively quickly. Definitely a tourist vibe here near the Eiffel tower. Pizza was really good. Expensive with prompt service. It's been a year since my son and I were in Paris. As a food blogger and reviewer I am not certain why I did not get any photos of the food or recall what we ate. My son is 7 (6 at the time) so even though we were in Paris and I am a huge foodie it was necessary to get pizza, lol. I did not have a single bad meal in Paris so I am sure this place was no exception. I am giving them 4 star rating because it's not always about the food it's about the experience and I can't think of any greater experience than Pizza in Paris!! read more

This was my first dinner in Paris and it was okay, had great reviews so we went. However, wouldn't go back for a second night. It filled my belly - the onion soup was pretty good but the pasta was kind of bland. It was a cold night so the soup was a safe bet. It had the cheese and the bread so it was the better out of the two dishes. The pasta was average. Missed a bit of flavor and expected more of a yum out of biting into the mushrooms. 5 stars because the food was amazing and the service excellent and friendly. Also, for being so close to the Eiffel Tower, the food was reasonably priced. A bottle of wine, fantastic pizza, pasta and even an appetizer for 60 euro - what a score. The pizza and pasta were highlights of the night. My wife got basil spaghetti and I got the pizza with spicy sausage. They were both fantastic. I don't think you can go wrong here. Great Italian ! read more

Came in around 8:30. First as tourist we need to Understand culture. The French as understand to not serve as Americans waiters they wait to be called upon. So with that being said the service was good and swift food came out pretty promptly and was well made. We had the calamari and the tomato and mozzarella and margarita pizza. The soda is a bit over priced at 5 euros my wine was 9. Overall it was a good meal good service in a small and quaint spot. read more

This restaurant definitely pulls in tourists as it's located right by the Eiffel Tower. We ordered the carbonara and a pizza to share before heading to the Eiffel Tower (yes, we succumbed to the loud ambience and English menu). The carbonara included a perfect yolk on top that was delicious when mixed with everything. The pasta was light, creamy, and they gave a lot of bacon (probably for us Americans). The arugula pizza was thin crust (my fav!) and super cheesy! This place gets pretty packed during peak hours as do all the restaurants on this street! read more

First night in France and decided to spend it at Firmine. Greeted by the bright lights and open seating, Firmine is as enjoyable as it appears. The servers there are delight to interact with and really make sure they take care of you. For food we had: Linguine al pesto: my my. In the US, I've never had pesto like this; the pesto pasta here was so creamy and flavorful. I'm used to pesto usually being more oil based however here it was different. For every reason, this pesto was amazing and so filling!!! Everybody wanted to steal some of it. Four cheese penne: cheesy, cheesy goodness. This pasta appears to be simple but definitely has more taste than expected. Topped with yummy cheese, this penne is really delicious. Margherita pizza: Got to love pizza! The pizza here is ooey-gooey cheesy packed with flavor. The size is quite big and is shareable at the table. Panna Cotta: the most unique panda cotta I've tried yet. The fruit sauce on top of it was absolutely amazing! Such a tangy, fresh taste that really complimented the dish!! The portions here initially appear small however they are quite filling and shareable. The wine!! AH yes that is so good! The white wine really complimented the food and mixed well with the Italian flavor. They have wide selection of wines, beers, and drinks- all of which just add to the greatness of the restaurant. Just around the corner of the Eiffel Tower, Firmine is definitely a hit!! I would highly recommend it to all, especially those with vegetarian restrictions. read more

Pros: * The waiters speak English and they're really kind! It's a great spot for tourists. * Food was great. We ordered the spaghetti, lasagna, steaks, carbonara, calamari, escargots and tiramisu. The spaghetti wasn't really anything special. The steak was cooked perfectly at medium rare. The calamari was more on the fried side than expected but the tartar sauce was surprisingly good. The carbonara and tiramisu were delicious. Definitely worth trying the tiramisu. * Choice of outdoor or indoor seating. Cons: * There's usually a line for dinner. However it does move quite quickly because people are constantly going in and out. * It may be a little hard to seat larger groups since it's pretty cozy inside. It would be easier to get seats if you can split the group up. read more

We came here on our first night in France as it is both close to the Eiffel Tower and our hotel. It is definitely a place that is popular with tourists as every single table seemed to be speaking English as we arrived. I didn't have high hopes for the food as it seems so touristy, but I was pleasantly surprised. If you want pasta, DEFINITELY get the carbonara. It is some of the best carbonara I've ever had. Everyone at my table agreed that it was the best pasta dish of the night. It comes with a lot of meat and a yolk on top that you can pop and watch it ooze onto your pasta. I almost ate the entire thing myself! The other pastas that we ordered (Pesto, Olive Oil + Chili, Marinara) were also good. It's just that the carbonara was the best one! We tried the escargot here and we've never had it before so we can't compare it to anything else, but all of us were not a fan. Overall, not a place for authentic French food but still a great place for a good meal. The waiters were very friendly and spoke English and the food was great. read more

Had a delightful lunch here, this is definitely excellent and way above par for restaurants near tourist sites. The carbonara was superb. Creamy, with lots of chunky bacon and they left cheese at the table to add to taste. Only downside was that the pasta was slightly over cooked and a bit soft. That truly was the only downside. Had the Palmeta pizza and the Chorizo slices were salty goodness. They even made the pizza in a heart shape for us. Awwwww. Such a fresh tasting pizza with spicy oil on the side. This restaurant is a standout in that it's clean, modern, and the food is actually really good in spite of it being near the Eiffel Tower. Many of their customers are tourists, but it isn't by any means overrun by them. I'd happily return. read more

It's the first place I tried when I got to Paris and I was not disappointed at all. The wine was amazing, we got a pint for a great price and to top it off, it set so perfect with the pasta and pizza we ordered. The pizza had topping that tasted as if they were just peeled off the plant itself. The cheese wasn't too chewy and would melt right into my mouth. We tried the stuffed ravioli and it was BOMB. Every time we come to Paris we make firmine's r 1st stop. It by the tower and the wife really likes the wine here Coming here it's a must when visiting Paris, eighth time. The Food is also very good. The waiter gave me this story "it not true that they are compensated with pension and benefits" can I offer up a TIP? 1st time ever asked. I tipped him. We stopped in here for a drink and quick snack when we were on our way to the Eiffel. We picked this spot bc its unassuming and looked like a nice neighborhood spot. We ordered two of their cocktails which were extremely sweet - I couldn't finish mine so we switched to a basic red. We ordered the escargot and onion soup, both of which were good. I'd give this place a 3.5-4 but minus a star bc when I stepped away to use the restroom, a server (who was not the person waiting on us) came to close out the bill and asked my husband if he wanted to tip. My husband wasn't familiar with the fact that in France restaurants have "servis compris" (service included) so it is not customary to tip on top of the bill (bc tip is already included). We normally still tip but I don't appreciate when places take advantage of tourists so I wouldn't come back. And for context, we were in France for 10 days and this was one of only two places that did that. read more

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner after visiting the Eiffel Tower and reading all the rave reviews. Thank goodness for yelp. The French onion soup is a must have and I'm not even a soup person. I loved this spot !!! We were in search of a spot to eat after visiting the Eiffel Tower and came across Firmine, it's in the heart of the block located near the tower. The atmosphere is excellent and makes a great spot for multiple people with inside and outside dining. The service was excellent. The waiter was very attentive and made sure we understood the menu and explained the restaurant's specials and signature dishes. We ordered an array of items because we were hungry and we all wanted to try different items. We decided to go with a french onion soup, escargots and a large pizza with onions, peppers, pepperoni, cheese and ham. The escargot was very flavorful, garlicky and buttery and perfect texture. Excellent to start off if you want an authentic French dish. The soup was exceptional. The melted cheese on top came apart with every spoonful which is exactly what I was looking for because no one wants to rip the cheese with your fingers from your soup because it balls up into one piece. Nope!!! not this one, made it much easier to eat and tasty. The pizza was excellent, the crust perfect! not to thick, great combination of soft in the inside yet toasty on the outside. Cheese melted perfectly, ham and pepperoni tasty with hints of pepper but the peppers and onions really made the pizza come alive. The food was great and the service was above average and you get a good bang for your buck. Give it a shot ! read more

This place was A-OK ... like the three star Yelp rating states. It is located in the area of the Eiffel tower. I had hopped of one of those touristy double decker buses (don't judge me) and walked about a block to Firmine, which is easy to spot walking down the street as its exterior aesthetic is pleasing and just looks welcoming. It looked cute, it looked busy, so my travel partner and I ate here. We selected a table and were greeted by our server, a mature lady, who I think might have been irritated with us. We didn't much speak French so she was very quick with us, however, another table next to us did speak fluent French and she was super attentive with them. Oh well, it is Paris ... this was just the one restaurant where our server fit the stereotype of what to expect as a tourist. Okay. No big whoop. It was an experience. I order the calzone, which was MASSIVE. It was beautiful, big and tasted like a big ol' Hot Pocket. Being hungry at the time, it tasted really good the first few bites and then I started remember my high school years when Hot Pockets were the "go to" food of choice. I just had a really, really big one in front of me. It filled me up and was edible. So, if you like Hot Pockets, you will love this. Also, the food came out pretty fast which was helpful with more sightseeing on that double decker bus in store (seriously, stop judging me.) I also ordered a cafe au lait which was good ... a typical cafe au lait. The interior of the restaurant was adorable and comfortable. There were also other tourists in there as well, so I'm sure they see many each and every day. So, if you are in the area and want something easy and easy to find, this is your place. read more
