Had an appointment on 6/2/2026 at 10am to get rear ended checked for rattle noise and was told it would be looked at around noon. Called back at 3pm for progress and they were just getting it into the shop. Drove to the shop around 630pm and I see my car parked in the parking lot, no call on the status or that it was ready. I'm furious at this point. Advisor told me it was a dust deflector bent, however in later days and weeks it was the shock cap loose, thanks for not finding the problem professionals, never again. You quoted me one price and then when I went to pick up the car, it was $700 more. I was told that this was the quoted price and that all phone calls are recorded. I asked to hear the recordings. They were not able to produce the calls, I believe that they proved my side of the story. The manager reduced the price to about $1,300 still $300 more that I was quoted, twice. I came to this location for the first time after making an appointment using the Firestone app. Since I take a lot of road trips, I bought a lifetime alignment years ago out of state. Any Firestone location should be able to see this in their system. I had no issues whatsoever upon arriving and they were able to sucessfully locate my records. These days it seems having an appointment doesn't change the wait time at all. Different story here! They began work on schedule and even went ahead and aired my tires. No sooner had I sat down and began to prepare for a long wait, they were all done and handing me back my keys. I really appreciated the respect for my time. I came back a few hours later only to find out that my tire has 2 big nails stuck in it and my battery needs to be replaced. What was the point of me coming in this morning and waiting over an hour? Had a landscape truck drop a bunch of medium sized rocks on the road in front of me. One got my right front tire and tore the sidewall. I called around and Firestone ended up giving me such a good deal on a great set of performance tires, that I did all four. I was in and out in less than an hour. The guys were very friendly. The shop is clean, with up to date equipment. The waiting area was clean with fresh coffee and a TV. All in all you couldn't ask for more. read more

Came to this place because of the great reviews. Told us there would be a wait. That it would take 30 to 45 before they could start on it. We said no problem, went to Lowe's next door and spent an hour and a half there. Come back and they hadn't started yet. Gave all sorts of excuses and one of the guys walks out and puts the vehicle in a bay. And it sat there with no one working on it. Got fed up and asked for the keys. This is not the way to treat a new customer coming in for their top of the line service. Not even their low end oil change. They had our phone number. What would it have cost them to call and say, look, some emergency came up, would you mind waiting? Almost two hours later and it was still just a shrug of his shoulders as an excuse. Quoted me 300 something dollars for my brakes and never did any work the five hours my car sat there. They then called and told me all these things are wrong with my car and asked to charge me 800$ for repairs when I just wanted my brakes fixed. Also not to mention one of the techs there cut off my girlfriend when we were turning in to drop the car off and she missed the turn and almost rear ended him. Firestone's a load of crap. Took my car to get my timing belts fixed. After being "done" i move my steering wheel and hear a pop. 15 minutes later, mechanic gives me keys and says "all done". Later that night, car overheated. Turns out they fixed any belts except my timing belts, fucked up my water pump and had my car leaking coolant. I can take it back so they can check it and fix it, only with the condition i pay them another 3-400 fucking $$. Fuck this place. read more

I am a loyal firestone customer. Being new to the Houston area I decided to try this location. I was going in for routine maintenance, oil change and alignment. The service was fast and reasonably priced as expected with firestone. However, shortly before our car was done the man behind the counter called us over and said that our battery was dead. He showed us a little piece of paper from a battery meter that showed our battery was not holding a charge. I was skeptical because I was not having any issues. I declined the battery swap and immediately went to autozone to have my battery tested. The man at autozone connected the meter right in front of me and showed me there was absolutely nothing wrong with my battery. I am not sure why they were trying to sell me a new battery. This place and their shop in humble is pitiful. I bring my car for a wheel alignment and ALWAYS have to go back to have it redone because it's not being done right the first time. I once had to get a computer printout from Goodyear showing that my alignment wasn't done right after having to go back and forth with one of their mechanics. Now here it is again, after I asked them to test drive it and them claiming they've test drove it, I'm getting the same problem I had when I went in there. I've had an intermittent "check engine" light for nearly 12 months. Four auto repair shops have taken my money and absolutely failed to find the problem. Another symptom presented itself over the weekend and the technician at Firestone diagnosed the issue. He could have charged for new parts but let me know that cleaning the faulty component was all that was required. I will bring all my business here from now on. I sent my son's car to this establishment after a recommendation from mechanics I trust. I spoke with the manager on Saturday and expressed in no uncertain terms that I needed the rear brakes done. If the drums were garbage, replace them. I had already looked at the rear brakes myself and knew what to expect as far as repairs. When my son dropped the car off, I expected the rear brakes to be done. That's it. I did not expect my day to be wasted by a company which obviously thrives on jacking up the customer for every penny they can find. The car was 100 miles past it's last oil change, I'm not there for that. The tires are 6 months old, I'm not there for that. The air filter was replaced at the last oil change and appeared new other than the mechanic's dirty fingerprints on it. The front brakes had also been done about 6 months ago. On Saturday, the manager gave me a rough estimate of $400. I was prepared for that. I did not expect a $2800 estimate on Sunday for doing work on things I had not requested and did not want. If you're not willing to do exactly what needs to be done to keep the car safe and on the road, don't josh people into thinking otherwise. They didn't get my business. The estimate on the rear brakes alone was almost $700. That's bovine scatology. Uneducated people fall for this type of scam all the time and it's really a shame. Take your vehicle anywhere except this place. If rear drums and shoes cost you more than about 400 bucks, you're being ripped off. read more

My family and I have been going to this location for years and we are all Russian. We have never felt mistreated because of our ethnicity or our accents. Everyone has been courteous. I think the price estimates have been high every once in a while and we've chosen to either make the repairs here or other places but I think that's an across the board way of estimating for everyone perhapd due to what they charge for labor and not just for people of other countries and ethnicities. read more

I will discourage anyone from coming here for service. The sales rep I dealt with, Jesse I believe is his name as that is what the top of my receipt says, was above and beyond the worst service rep I've dealt with. After scheduling my appointment online for a wheel alignment, showing up 30 mins early, being quoted a 2 hour time to completion, I said I would be back in 2.5 hours and Jesse said great. I showed up 4.5 hours later and my car hadn't been started yet. Jesse responds with "well did someone call you and tell you it was ready?" When I said no, but you told me it would be done by 2:00pm when I said I was returning and it's now 2 hours after that, he literally snapped back at me with "I said it MIGHT be done at 2:00pm." No, Jesse, that is not what you said. And you also never said someone would call when it's finished. Perhaps you should have called me when it was NOT going to be finished by the time we agreed I would return. The then started on my car and it was done in 30 minutes! Why did that take 5 hours now, in total, to complete? I made an appointment for a reason and was quoted a time of completion. Unsurprisingly, when I asked him about some of the data on the printout of the specs of my car, Jesse had not the slightest clue how to answer my questions. He was polite and explained everything I needed to have done. He was able to find additional savings for me as well. I called on Wednesday spoke to Chaz. He gave me prices for three different choices of tires mounted/balanced and tax out the door. Chaz was friendly, answered all my questions quickly and negotiated the price with me over the phone. I showed up on Saturday, he still had my quote with the price we agreed to on the phone. I left and went to lunch, Chaz called me an hour and a half later saying my car was done. When I picked up the car, the work was done, with the parts I chose and the final price was the price quoted on the phone. There was no bait and switch, no mid-work upsell, Just honest work. This type of service should just be expected but unfortunately many competing businesses engage in practices that make the customer question the honesty of the company and can fall victim to unnecessary up-charges.
