For transparency, the full price should be quoted up front. In review, the employees were so pleasant (I had Sam & Lucy), the process was so efficient, and I wasn't up-selled with high pressure, I would return. Alan was extremely helpful and patient after diagnosing the issue and presenting options and costs for the fix. I was provided a thorough report with pictures, and frankly.. I had no questions. There were issues with the cooling fan (and other parts) and the A/C components were failing (adding dye into the system to find leaks, etc). Pricing, timelines, and warranties were all laid out upfront - no surprises, no runaround. If you want a shop that's fair and honest with real diagnostics, McKay's is it. Ask for Alan. These parts were not damaged before the service, and the damage is consistent with improper pry tool use or forced removal. When I brought up the damage, the shop offered aftermarket replacements that did not match OEM quality or finish. After I declined the aftermarket parts, the shop told me they "could not do anything further." I have spent months trying to source OEM replacements myself, and the cost is significantly higher than what the shop offered. The shop has refused to cover the proper OEM repair. This review is not about the repair being difficult -- it's about the lack of accountability and the refusal to restore the vehicle to its original condition after causing visible damage during their work. If you care about your vehicle's interior, especially OEM trim, I would strongly recommend choosing a different shop. UPDATE: Response - There was no detailed discussion or explanation of specific interior trim risks before the work. - I was never presented with or asked to sign any disclaimer regarding interior damage. If the shop has a signed copy, I've requested it but have not received one. - The wood trim, vent assembly, and glovebox panel were not damaged prior to the service and the new damage is consistent with improper removal tools and handling, not age-related failure. - Aftermarket Amazon parts offered to me do not match OEM Lexus materials, so declining those is not "declining a solution." I've sent the shop a detailed email directly so this can be addressed privately and professionally. My goal is simply proper OEM replacement for the items that were damaged during the service.

They have a wonderful waiting area with guest WiFi, coffee bar, private bathroom, kids play activities, fresh magazines, and every charger you could ever need. I wasn't surprised when I found out Accurate Auto was owned by a woman. It's appointed like a nice Air B&B! It doesn't hurt that the front desk team of David and Mario are awesome and super friendly! Absolutely terrible experience with Brake Check -- avoid at all costs…read more I brought my truck in for a simple alignment after installing new tires. It still pulled slightly to the right, so I returned and was told to "drive it more and then bring it back." No big deal. When I took it to another Brake Check location closer to my daughter's school for a quick fine-tune, things went downhill fast. The tech spent an hour and a half on my truck, only to eventually tell me they didn't know how to get it aligned. When I got my truck back, it was noticeably worse than before: a loud clunking sound, a hard pull to the right, and my front tire was rubbing the fender badly, something it had never done unless at full lock. Trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, I took it back to the original location hoping they could at least return it to the baseline they had set. They worked on it for maybe 10 minutes and handed it back still in terrible condition. At that point I had no choice but to take it to a reputable shop--NXT Up Offroad & Performance--who thankfully fixed everything. They immediately found a loose bolt causing the clunking sound. Yes, Brake Check literally sent me on the road with suspension components not tightened. They also confirmed the alignment was so far out of spec that it would've ruined my $1,900 tires prematurely. I contacted Brake Check asking them to reimburse the cost of repairing their negligence. Even with clear evidence, their Vice President refused and gave me a bizarre analogy about buying a taco at one restaurant, not liking it, and then asking another restaurant to replace it. Not only is that analogy terrible, it completely ignores the fact that Brake Check's work was unsafe and caused additional damage. Bottom line: I wouldn't recommend Brake Check to my worst enemy. They do sloppy, careless work, don't take responsibility for their mistakes, and their negligence could cost you thousands--or worse, cause an accident. Save yourself the headache and take your vehicle somewhere reputable.

Rico is the primary maintenance technician that I've come in contact with. The first time I visited, he got me in and it took only 5 minutes to get the oil changed. I've been to other locations and I'm there for 45 minutes or more. Rico never over tops the oil and only puts in the correct amount. Yes, the price is quite expensive, but you don't want cheap going into your car because you might be without a car. In this day and age, it's best that you have a car. I feel like I get my money's worth. I've gotten my cabin filter and more coolant changed here. I know I could get it elsewhere cheaper, but I will not remember to do that once I leave even though I would always tell myself that I am. Rico, he is the man that you can trust. I was surprised he even remembered me from my last visit. My car runs smoother because of Take 5 Research Forest!
