I bought new tires from the location in Hixson in I believe August of 2015, then when I got my car serviced before my vacation in October of 2016, I was told that I needed new tires again. First I was quoted the full price; when I asked about the warranty, since I drive my car less than a thousand miles a month, I was quoted a prorated price. When I asked the tech why my tires had worn out so quickly I was told that they had accidentally sold me the wrong size tires earlier and he apologized, but I still had to pay for new tires because of their mistake. When I brought my car in for an oil change in May of 2018 I was told that I needed new tires again, even though I had driven on them for less than fifteen thousand miles and the tires supposedly have a thirty thousand mile warranty. When I mentioned my earlier experience to the tech and asked him why my tires were wearing out so quickly, he said he would check, but he just marked on my paperwork that I had declined new tires and didn't mention it again. My car also has been making various sounds whenever I use my brakes for at least three years now. Whenever I mention it to a tech they "clean" my brakes, and the sound only seems to get worse. They have "cleaned" my brakes twice now, replaced my brake pads and rotors and the sound has never gone away. They can never seem to duplicate the sound, though as soon as I drive my car to the stop sign at the edge of their parking lot, the sound is still there. A year and a half ago my left front tire started making a loud rattling sound and since it was about time for an oil change anyway I dropped my car off and they kept it most of the day just to tell me that they found no problem and could not duplicate the sound. I drove my car across the street to a competing company and within fifteen minutes they had popped off my hubcap and removed a piece of gravel and didn't charge me. I want to continue using Firestone since they are located close to where I live, but my experiences with their customer service have been ridiculous. read more

Now I understand why the two positive reviews are 1 - 7 years old. My experience was definitely not positive. I brought my 2007 Honda in for a 100,000 mile tune up and found out later that all they did was change the plugs...charging me close to $150.00. To add insult to injury, I had a full tank of gas when I brought the car in, and only a quarter of a tank when I left. My dashboard mileage calculator showed 81 miles. What happened to half a tank of gas? I would never recommend or patronize this business again. read more

I don't typically write reviews but this place truly deserves it after how well they treated me. After changing the control arms on my 335i I took it here for an alignment. I don't typically go to "franchise" places like this but they were the only place open til 8. I was unaware of the line of people in front of me, so they weren't able to get to it before closing. They graciously offered to stay opened after hours just to get me in and didn't even begin my alignment until 20 minutes after closing. Unfortunately, because of some corrosion a bolt broke on my trailing arm. Had to order the parts but they got me in as soon as they could and got it taken care of. This wasn't their fault but ended up doing the alignment for free plus I still got a 12 month warranty on it. Thanks for making the best of a bad situation! read more

On 9-5-15 I called this store at 10:15 am (cst) about a set of Firestone Destination AT tire for my 04 Dodge Ram 1500. They told me they would have to get them from their warehouse if I wanted them & quoted me a price installed. They told me if I decide to buy them to let them know by 1:30 pm (est). I called them at 12:15 pm (cst) & told them to get the tires & that I live 70 miles from them & would be there 2:30 pm (est). They mounted, balanced& installed the set of 4 tires for me. They also told me I needed brakes on the rear axle but not on the front. They allowed me to inspect the rear brakes & make the call myself. In which I had them install new rear brakes & turn both rear rotors. They also checked my front end alignment for free which they allowed me again to inspect myself with the truck being on the front end machine. Again I made the call myself & had them align the front end. I told the front end mechanic I was sorry for making him work late because it was about 6:15 pm (est) & he told me that's ok, it's all in a days works. Their closing time is 6:00 pm. It took them until about 7:00 pm to get finished. The mechanic told me my truck ought to drive like a new 1. I used to mechanic years ago & that's pretty good in my book for the short notice on the tires, the work & the great attitude the mechanics had. It has now been 8 days & 400+ miles since my purchase & the mechanic did not lie. My truck drives better than it did when I bought it. And these Firestone tires are a ton better than the Goodyear Wrangler tires that came on the truck when I bought it. The grip the road better, corner better & handle the rain a whole lot better than the Goodyear's ever did. If these tires last like I am hoping, they will be a great tire. Plus they give me a Firestone credit card with 0% interest if paid within 6 months. That's better than shelling it out of my pocket right off the bat. These people treated me like I want to be treated. Very few place do that anymore the days. I would like to tell them all, Thank You for a great job, great attitude because you don't find that much anymore these days & some of us older folks really do appreciate it. Eddie Hubbard read more

Avoid at all cost. I brought my car in to have the front wheel bearings installed. After the initial call I was told the parts were available and it would take 3 hours to replace. I drove out there and am then told they only have one bearing and have to order the other one. This would take an additional 3 hours but the car would be done between 5-6 PM. At 430 I called to check on my car to find out they got the wrong part and now needed the car overnight and I could get it between 1-2 PM. I was called at 1 and was told my car was ready. After showing up and paying my bill, imagine my irritation when I discover my ABS light on. This light was not on nor has it ever given me a problem. I was getting ready to move across the country to California in 2 days and they told me they couldn't get the part until after I left to fix their error of putting the bearing in backwards. I had to drive my car across country with the ABS light on and then take it to another Firestone once I was in California. Upon arriving in California it took an additional 3 days to get this finally resolved. Horrible practices at this Firestone in Chattanooga! read more
