needed my a/c compressor and serpentine belt replaced. When my car was returned to me they had left an a/c low pressure line loose and charged me for the belt replacement that was NOT done. When I received my car back for the second time all the plastic clips on the radiator cover were broken. The service writer said that they did not break the clips, when I pointed out all the plastic debris from the broken clips in the engine bay they offered to replace all 13 broken clips. When I left the shop 30 seconds later my tire pressure light goes off and my front right tire is going flat... I fix the flat myself as I am done with this place. Moral of the story is they are just a tire shop DO NOT get any repairs done here. I can only imagine the people who don't have much car knowledge getting taken advantage of. read more

After 22 years of doing business with Quality Tire, I have decided to cut my loses. I have stopped doing business there because of their poor workmanship and being nickel and dimed. The last straw was when the alignment technician attempted to use a adjustable wrench to do the adjustment, when that did not work he used a pipe wrench which scarred the Tie Rod to the point where an open end wrench could never be used, which he should have used from the beginning. They did offer to replace the Tie Rod, but I was to afraid to let them touch my truck, so I declined. In my opinion they are way too busy to do Quality work, as they run around like chickens with there heads cut off. The only hope for Quality Tire to be the repair shop that matches their name in my opinion is for Tom Eberle to take over the shop and run it like he used too. Until that happens I will a-void them like the plague !! read more

My 10 year old car broke down and it seemed to be the head gasket. I received plenty of advice from mechanic types and was looking around to see if I could get it fixed, versus just buying a new car. I called and spoke with the owner who was kind and offered me his opinion and said they would take a look at it. I ended up not taking my car there, but the customer service I received when I called was amazing. When my car wasn't there for them to look at on Monday, I even received a follow up call asking if everything was okay. I was referred here by several people. Whenever I hunt up prices for tires, these guys seem to have the best prices and I would trust them with anything tire-related. I went here for years to have my oil changes so they could also rotate the tires, which they do for free if you get your tires here. But once my car got old enough to need more repairs, they really struggled to actually fix my problems and I ended up paying out quite a lot of money in the process. I like these guys, but they had a "let's try this $400 fix and see what happens" approach and when that happens about three times in a row, you end up going someplace else. I ended up at another garage that fixed it the first time around for much less. So, in short, I would trust these guys with any type of tire purchase or repair, but I'd go somewhere else for the rest of your car. read more

These guys are brilliant! I had low tire pressure and a nail in one of the tires as I was headed out on a 6 stAte road trip solo and was directed to Quality Tire Pros by my son'... they could easily have taken advantage of me and charged me for a repair but instead showed me the 2 inch nail and told me how lucky I was that it hadn't actually penetrated the tire! They checked the pressure in all my tires, including the spare! - and sent me on my way without even charging me for their time! I highly recommend them! I was in town for business and needed an alignment and two tires. They graciously drove me to the office so I didn't have to call anyone. When I picked up my car, they had only charged me for two tires and told me the alignment was already correct. Most mechanic shops will not offer to help you like that. ...aaaand then for the real review of Quality Tire Center... One of the biggest hassles of moving to a new city is finding a trustworthy auto repair shop. Whether your problem is no garage, no time, or no know-how, you have to put a lot of trust in your local wrencher. I can change the oil but that's about it, so if I'm told my "differential is shot" or that my brakes need to be bled, it's a game of faith until it becomes trust. I've used Quality Tire twice now; once to have the tires balanced and oil changed on the hybrid (there is a ton of annoying bodywork on the bottom). This was the litmus test and QTC passed. Tire balancing was perfect and the oil change, rotation, and balancing was less than the last 15 minute job done at a random quick shop. Those Valvoline/Jiffy Lube shops do what you need, but I'd pay more to not have to repeat that I don't need new wipers, air cleaners, etc. In the case of QTC, I paid less for more work and less hassle. After the great/cheap/easy job on the Honda, I chose QTC to install a new suspension on my Jeep. Here's an area of auto repair where they could really fleece you if they wanted. However, they did a great job (including final front-end alignment) and the hourly total is almost exactly what manufacturers recommend. Again, they could easily tack on a few hours, but they didn't. Quality work can be seen/felt, but the trust that your mechanic won't overcharge you has to be earned. Although irrelevant dog hater won't be back, I and my friends will be. read more

This company provides courteous prompt service and is flexible to our scheduling needs. We take all our (six) cars here including our BMW's (sometimes we go to the German auto place for complex repairs). They know us by name (probably because with 6 cars we are here all the time), are fair in their prices, and don't overcharge for needless repairs. Instead they tell us how many miles we have left on those brake pads before we need to get them changed. All of our cars have worked well after going to this shop and we've never had any trouble. The dog is sweet. He usually sits in his bed and doesn't interact with customers unless they initiate contact. read more

My bmw break lights came on so I came in to get an inspection. The mechanic gave me a quote of over $1100 for front and rear breaks, sensors, and rotors. I recently drove here from Arizona but had the car examined prior to coming here. While it may be reasonable to change breaks and sensors, I was convinced that the rotors should not need to be changed as they were recently changed. The mechanic insisted that breaks and rotors are worn out. I went to another mechanic to have it examined. They informed me the breaks are relatively new and my last mechanic simply forgot to reset the sensor. I called back to this place and the mechanic insisted that it had less than 3-4mm left. I told this to the new mechanic. The new mechanic lifted my car, took off the wheels and pulled out a measuring pad. Each break was at 8-9 mm. This place literally tried to scam 1100 off me. read more

We've been to Quality Tires numerous times for oil changes, tire rotations, and repairs. They've gone above and beyond at least twice (where it really stood out to us). Most recently they saved us $800 on a repair that we would have paid without question, but we surely appreciate them looking out for the best for us and saving us from making a repair we could get by without. A few times I've compared their pricing to other mechanics (for repair work as well as tires), and they're in line pricing wise with the market. I'm gonna give the whole story because it speaks for itself. On May 30th, I took my vehicle to duffey's radiator shop to have it serviced. The shop installed a new evaporator core, heater core, blower motor, actuators, and filled the ac with freon. The next day when I drove the vehicle, the ac was only blowing warm air. It also has a constant warm air flow coming through the floor vents while driving and a large amount of feedback coming through the speakers. None of the modes work correctly on the climate control, as it only blows in the floor. They also damaged the toggle switch to my light bar and the knob for my radio was missing. I took the vehicle back, and they ran dye through the system and used a sniffer looking for a leak. They still miraculously had the knob for my radio. I was then informed all the blend doors were working as they should and that the compressor was leaking. A new one was ordered, and I returned to have it installed. A few hours after having the compressor installed and charged with freon, it was again blowing only warm air. All the freon had leaked from the system again. Finally frustrated with the shop, I took my vehicle to another shop on Cherokee Blvd. Quality tire pros found that the threads on the accumulator were damaged when the evaporator core was installed and that was the cause for the leak. They also informed me that they would have to check all the blend doors to see if they were set correctly and the actuators to make sure they're working. I went back to duffey's and complained about it, but I was only told that there was no way they could have done the damage. All the parts were new on the ac except the evaporator core because the dash had to be pulled for the job. They never even found the correct leak. Now I have to have the dash pulled again to check the blend doors and the actuators. Duffey's also screwed the dash back down on the antenna cable which is why I have feedback in my speakers. I would not recommend anyone to take their vehicle to duffey's for ac work. They don't own up to their mistakes. Update: June 21st, I returned to quality tire pros on Cherokee Blvd. They checked my actuators and found that 2 of them were installed incorrectly. They switched the actuators to the correct locations they should have been installed, and now all the modes function as they should on my climate control. I was informed the only way to fix the antenna cable was to pull the dash again. Also Quality tire pros was awesome enough to fix my issue and not charge me a penny. Highly recommend quality tire pros for all your ac needs. read more

A grease hand print was on the drivers side door, front left fender, and hood. Please clean your act up. I appreciated the honest and courteous service I received from the employees at Quality Tire Center. I did pay a bit more for a set of tires than I would have at Sears or Walmart, but it was worth it for the level of service and courtesy of the staff. As a young woman I've been a victim of sexual discrimination by mechanics and service professionals at other auto service businesses, big and small. I was not made to feel that way at all here. I have a hybrid and while Quality Tire Center does by have a licensed hybrid mechanic they assured me that they do lots of work on hybrids. They also got my new tires put on and balanced in about 20 minutes right before they closed on Saturday. I will definitely be returning for tire issues and maintenance as they are a full service auto repair center. read more
