I started taking my vehicle to Meineke in December 2024 under warranty for two bad window motors…read moreand a clicking noise from the dashboard. They replaced an actuator, but things have only gotten worse since. The original issues still aren't fixed, and now the A/C won't switch from the floor vents--I have no defrost and no air from the center vents, which makes the truck unsafe to drive. I've dropped my truck off over 15 times, including leaving it for a full week, and now they're saying it's something new. On top of that, I just found out they lost the hardware that holds the center console down. Seriously? The staff constantly changes, and everyone claims they've "only been there two weeks." No one knows what's going on. It's been 5 months, and they still can't fix my vehicle. This place is full of incompetence, excuses, and flat-out lies. I'm reporting this to corporate and the Better Business Bureau. I will never return and strongly warn others to stay away from this location.

Review for Meineke Car Care - Highway 58, Chattanooga, TN…read more I have had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with this Meineke location. Over the course of several visits for repairs, I've noticed parts mysteriously going missing from my vehicle, including my engine cover (with Honda branding) and my rear windshield wiper blade. These are not minor oversights--they show a lack of attention and care. One of the most concerning issues was a broken mirror, which I noticed before I even left the lot. It took three weeks just to process a claim and get a replacement. That kind of delay is unacceptable for something that was clearly damaged under their care. I'm currently dealing with an oil leak that has been "fixed" three times already, and now I'm waiting to hear back--again--about the valve cover gaskets and service availability. It's been four weeks with no concrete answer. Meanwhile, the ongoing leak has caused even more damage: I've had to replace my alternator twice and now the belt is beginning to squeak. This is the result of poor, incomplete service. I wanted to have the warranty work done at a different Meineke location due to lack of trust in this one, but was told it must be done at the same location to be covered. That policy only adds to the frustration. With the high employee turnover, there is zero consistency in communication or workmanship, and I've lost all confidence that they are capable--or willing--to properly resolve the issue. I've been calling twice a week and stopping by in person, only to be met with delays and excuses. It really feels like they are just stalling until the warranty runs out. At this point, if I don't get a resolution soon from either the store or Meineke corporate, I will be forced to report them to the Better Business Bureau and consider filing a police report for small claims court. There is no excuse for this kind of service. I strongly do not recommend this location.

As a customer, I relied on their professional expertise to ensure my vehicle was safe to drive, and I trusted them when they said the issue had been fixed. They repaired the driver's side but failed to recommend or even mention replacing the passenger's side. Just three days later the passenger side brake line failed completely. I had to blindly fly into a turn with absolutely no brakes, putting myself and my family in extreme danger. This forced me to pay for a tow and take the vehicle to a different mechanic to actually get the problem fixed correctly. I called to try and get a partial refund, and the manager claimed they did recommend replacing both sides, which they absolutely did not. I would have gladly paid to replace both sides if they had given me the option. I know how critical brakes are. They refused to take responsibility for the danger they put us in and only offered me a "deal" on an oil change or small maintenance work. I obviously do not trust them to touch my car ever again. If you value your safety, go anywhere else.

Lately I've been in Cookeville where the Express here does not honor coupons, charge more and won't top off other fluids without charging you more. I didn't even bother asking if they tip off the oil for free between oil changes as they seem to charge for everything. Now my brake pads are needing repair and I called a few places around town, outside of prices being rather high, almost as much as I paid for rotors, they all seem to want to add on things. Even though it will be a trip to go to Hixson, I'd rather spend the gas on the drive knowing I won't get overcharged and they will do the job right the first time.
