However, I've found the managers and crew at Chattanooga's Market Street location go out of their way to do what's best in the customer's interest. Firestone kept my vehicle overnight just to quote me 1300-1400$ brake and front rotor job after their "special savings event" I called Toyota immediately after and they said they can handle it for 600$ whoever is there is used to people paying whatever they say because of the area of Chattanooga it's in. I scheduled an appointment last week for service today 6/23/25 at 12 noon. I got my co worker to take me to drop car off so they could do whatever they need to do to get my car serviced. I get there after work 5:00pm. They had not even done the oil change!!! let alone the A/C serviced!!! These guys are awesome! I called the manager, Elisas, with a flat tire around 7:30am. They diagnosed the problem and helped me find someone to fix it, when they determined the wheel was cracked. After contacting the wheel repair place, Elisas agreed to remove the tire from my wheel, hold it for them and keep my car up on a jack until it was finished. Then he charged me for a very basic service, which I'm very thankful for, given how much trouble I was that day. Thanks so much, guys! I owe you one. read more

I am not from Chattanooga, but found myself with an unexpected flat tire on Hwy 75 between Chattanooga and Knoxville on 6-9-2024 while towing my 4000 lb camper to a vacation destination. Due to the timing on a Sunday afternoon, so wasn't hopeful on continuing to my destination, however, Kyle at this Firestone not only responded kindly while I was still on the Hwy emergency lane, but had the tire I needed. After I got there several hrs later, he made sure I got my new tire, and I actually arrived at my destination before dark that very evening. Today, had to make an emergency stop when my battery indicator light came on. Brett was so helpful - he asked about our problem and listened carefully. Using test equipment, he found out within 5 minutes the problem was the alternator not charging. My husband drove from Knoxville to give me his car and talked with Brett who helped him come up with a solution since they would not be able to fix it today. I have been bringing my car here for the last year, at least once every 3 months for scheduled oil changes and basic services. I have always gotten really good service and they are very accurate setting up time expectations. To me is very important the transparency of people that work at car shops, because I don't know anything about cars. The staff at Firestone have been not only fair at charging, but very informative about what they did to my car. They have not recommended services without me needing them which is extremely professional on their end. When buying tires, I highly recommend the warranty, they will replace them at a small cost if anything happens to them. So this has saved me lots of money because somehow since I moved to Chattanooga I got a flat tire at least 3 times. What I like about this location is that you can walk around while they work on your car, there are shops and restaurants within walking distance and the car professional will call when your car is ready. If you prefer waiting on site they offer coffee and a TV that you can request to change the channel. They also open at 7am!! read more

My daughter's car was at Firestone for tires yesterday. When she drove the car later that evening she started smelling something awful. We came to find out that someone at Firestone had been under the hood and had taken the oil fill cap off and left it sitting on a ledge in the engine compartment. Needless to say, after being driven a few miles there was oil all over the engine and that is what she smelled. Why did they take the cap off at all?? What were they even doing messing around with the engine? This is the second time this Firestone has given us questionable service. We DO NOT recommend this Firestone!!! read more

Horrible service. Go anywhere else. Took my new truck in to get the AC fixed. I was told it would take 3 hours. They ended up keeping it all day and then overnight. Then when we picked it up, the AC did not work. They clearly didn't even check to see if it turned on. The mechanic on the phone lied and said it worked when they did it. There's no way that's true. Very disappointed and disturbed by this experience. The parking lot spots are way too small. When you pick up your car make sure to make them get it for you. They just suck ass. They did their best to get my warranty tire in in time for me to return home, and, when it wasn't available by my leave date, put a tire on my car for free to get me home. They took care of us and even though we were sure the tire was toast bc of how quick it lost air and were prepared to buy a new tire or 2, they patched it in a couple hours for like $25! I called the downtown location on Market Street in Chattanooga, TN and talked to a guy named Isaiah, who was very professional and found the best tires for my car. If I could leave a -10 (negative 10), I would!!! Horrible service!! Every time we take our Mercedes Benz SUV to them for a minor service, we leave there with a lot more major issues going on with it and have to take it to the Mercedes Benz dealership to get it repaired. Recently, we took it to them for an oil change and to check the fluids. They talked my husband into getting the fuel system cleaned out. As soon as we left, the check engine light came on. We called them and they said that was normal and for us to drive it for a day or two, and that the check engine light would go out. We went on our road trip, which was 2 hours away. The check engine light stayed on, and it started jerking and hesitating. We called them and once we got back home, we took it back to them. As soon as we left, no jerking, but the check engine light came on again. Well today, this is our 4th time taking it to them, and this time we were told that it was something was broken and they wanted to charge almost $4000 to repair it. We've never had any problems with it before we took it to them. EVERY TIME we take it to them for something minor, it turns into something major, EVERY TIME!! Even if they wanted to repair it free of charge, I wouldn't allow them because I don't trust them! Oh, and by the way, the Mercedes Benz dealership said if that part was already broken, the check engine light would have already been on. We contacted a different a Firestone who told us that this particular service should have never been done without them changing the spark plugs, as well. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! read more

Got home, popped the hood to verify the work that had been done..and I find two wrenches, a plastic cap, another plastic thing, and a bolt just laying there. I took pictures. It is an absolute miracle that the wrenches did not slip through the engine while I was driving and go through someones windshield behind me. I went back the next morning and the manager didn't seem to think it was a big deal. He nonchalantly apologized and wanted to shake my hand, but did not put his money where his mouth was and try to make it right. His attitude was almost like "so?". They put me at GREAT risk driving on the interstate with loose parts in my engine and didn't so much as offer a partial refund on the spot or discount on any future services. I highly recommend this location! My girlfriends and I were on a road trip and had to pull into Firestone after we had low tire pressure in one of our tires. We ended up having a nail in our tire and needed a new one. Max was wonderful to work us in so we could get back on the road, and Josh did a great job with a smile on his face. Spoke to Billy at firestone & he knew he had the tire I needed within a minute of our phone call. Brought my car right in & had it replaced within a couple hours.
