I've used Firestone to all my services and am glad they're here because for basic oil changes they don't pressure me into the extra costing varieties. They politely give my recommended services which is enough. Each time I go I'm greeted nicely by one of the front-end workers who gets me checked in and calls me with updates and details about jobs. I'm not mechanic obviously, but I know when service technicians try to pull one over on me and thus far, hasn't happened here. This Firestone is convenient as the closest one to me closed down and the next closest one gets booked up like crazy, appointments for oil change over a week in advance? c'mon! Update for 2013 Accident. This place is a total scam. I should've trusted the bad reviews because my experience was just as awful. They bait you in with a oil change coupon, and that's exactly how they got me. Before I went, I checked my car carefully--everything was fine. Forty minutes later, they handed it back and said the oil change was done, but suddenly my front bulb was "broken." Seriously? A bulb doesn't just break in 10 minutes. Then they tried to pressure me into paying for a replacement, saying I'd risk a traffic stop if I didn't fix it right away. I refused and left. When I looked at it myself, I saw they had unplugged the power line to the bulb. That takes force--you don't just bump it loose. They did it on purpose to upsell me. I plugged it back in and boom, it worked fine. To top it off, I caught them using recycled oil instead of the premium bottled stuff they advertised. Never again. This place is shady, dishonest, and flat-out predatory. If I could give zero stars, I would. read more

I've used this Firestone several times both for maintenance and issues that have arisen with my car. They've always treated me fairly and I find their prices fair given the cost of things these days and that we are in a HCOL area. Unlike the local dealership, they have the parts in stock, and have always gotten the work done same day or next day if I dropped off in the evening. read more

Called a week in advance to make sure they have space to take care of me . I called telling them I needed two tires balanced . I dropped the tires at 10am hence it's a Saturday they close at 6. Only visited this location because eBay comped the tire installation. Never revisiting. Here's everything that went wrong: 1. One of the shop staff gashed up my steering wheel. My car is tiny and not the easiest to get into, so it wasn't entirely unexpected, but no accountability from the store whatsoever. They told me to call customer service (which did nothing) and gave me the run-around to see the "manager" when he was in the store. He sounded nice on the phone, but repeated the same nonsense from customer service and offered no apologies or compensation of any kind. 2. I saw two technicians hop into my car as I was rolling up to pick it up. The front staff told me they were taking my car for a "test drive." Sure, real likely. Took them twenty minutes to come back from just a "lap around the block." Costco, Discount Tire, Les Schwab, nobody "test drives" customer card after just slapping on some tires. Those two guys saw a sports car they don't see very often, and took it out for joyride. That's the short of it. 3. And of course, they did a terrible job in the end anyway! I got my tires rebalanced today at my usual place, and turns out only three of the four were balanced correctly. TL;DR they'll take all day to do a crap job that should've been done in two hours and they'll (at least try to) ruin your car in the process. Came in because I got my car shipped across the country and of course as I'm taking it off the carrier I notice a check engine signal so I took it to AutoZone for them to read the code and it was something with my evaporative system sensor .. turns out it was a fluke and they were super upfront and honest about it which I really appreciated because I wouldn't have been able to say much either way if they wanted to do nothing and charge me a bunch of money they easily could have but they were honesty and I didn't have to pay at all in the end .. definitely will be coming back here in the future read more

Interesting to see such mixed reviews. I'll admit to not even knowing about this location since we moved here in 2017, but given a recent flat tire and the general, long standing desire to upgrade from the garbage stock tires, we went here instead of the usual Discount Tire close by. Service was outstanding both over the phone and in person. Do NOT take your car here. I needed an oil change when I got a flat tire, so I asked the shop to take care of both of those issues for me. They did not properly replace my drain plug and as a result, my car was leaking oil for about a week before I noticed. I ended up having to take my car to an auto shop for repairs over $500 and a completely new oil change. When I contacted Firestone to rectify the situation, they would not own up to their bad work or work with me on a refund. Terrible work and terrible customer service. Even when my credit card company reached out to them to settle the dispute, they denied liability and would not issue me a refund. Never ever ever ever go to firestone in Bellevue. They tried to charge me $793 parts labor and tax for my front car head lights and rear tail light. Took it to O'Reilly in Bellevue. Parts cost 207 and the guy did the work for free in 30 min. The worst part is they were only trying to charge 400 for boot repair that should be about 1000. So having my friend inspect it to see what needs done first. Bc I think they were just going to charge me and not do the work. read more

For the brake pads install labor, I was expecting 300 or so. Then, the estimate was $2200. I complained over the phone, then they stopped working. I had to pick up the car next day by staying in the shop to make sure it gets worked on. The place had only 1 other car in the shop and was not even busy. After a trip to Hawaii, I returned home to find that my car would not start due to a weak battery. I called to get the car jumpstarted and headed over to Firestone in Bellevue. I had a good experience at another Firestone in a similar situation while driving down from Canada. So I decided to give this chain store a try again rather than take my car to Seattle to my usual auto shop since it is nearby. The Firestone is not visible if you are driving on 140th Ave NE. It is located in a strip mall that houses Little Taipei, Taqueria El Rinconsito and Wibbley's among others. So you can get something to eat while you wait. There are a few visible spaces in front that you can park. Or you can park in the side lot nearby. The location is smaller than the one in Bellingham that I previously visited. There is a small waiting area inside the store with a TV, magazines and self serve coffee available. There isn't free Wi-Fi available however. I asked for an inspection first to see if the battery needed to be replaced. The timeframe they gave me underestimated a little, but not too much. Indeed, it needed to be replaced. If you want to save some cash, check the Firestone website before coming here for coupons. I did a search of batteries that they sold here and printed out a price quote on the battery that I wanted that saved me $10. Again, timeframe to install the battery given was slightly underestimated, but not by much. Left feeling like my visit was good since this Firestone is well organized in what they do. If you are looking for a experienced, reputable and straightforward place to get tires or perform auto repair, I would suggest Firestone. read more

They told me they could get the oil filter from their warehouse, but it would take an hour or so. Damaged a brake sensor and then refused to fix it because "brakes have nothing to do with tires". Strange that they have nothing to with each other but the sensor started malfunctioning immediately after picking up after a tire change. Also damaged my mirror by forcing an automatic mirror back manually. You're better off anywhere else. read more

Don't go to this place. I went for a oil change 10/10/2021, they recommended for front brake pad, rotor replace, brake fluid exchange and valve gasket replace, and warranty for brake 24months/24K mileage. I paid around $800.00. After receiving the car noticed brake still has the problem, the mechanic also didn't close the brake fluid cap. Took the car again for brake check, don't know what they did but noticed seems working. After 18 months and 10K mileage driven, the car vibrates when braking, so took again the car 8/25/23 before warranty expires. The inspect and recommend to change the caliper and to pay $800. They will replace the pad and rotor for free. I didn't agree and they charge my brake inspection cost, which supposed to be free. The car has only 72K mileage. This is totally scam. I will never bring my car to Firestone again. read more

Told them I had two flats (even sprayed a tire with windex to see where it was bubbling air, right dead center of the tire. Totally repairable). This place told me my charge would be $20. Held my car for the entire day and called me at 6pm to tell me the hole was at the edge of the tire (100% LIE since I sprayed it and knew where the hole was) and that it would now cost me $140. Second time this has happened. I make an appointment to have them put on my snow tires or take them off. I show up, they won't allow me to wait inside for the 2 hours it's going to take because of covid-19. One person is allowed. They've already got someone waiting. They didn't tell me this when I made the appointment over the phone. Where am I supposed to wait when everyone nearby is closed? This is ridiculous. I'm so over this hysteria about a virus with a 99.5% survival rate and only 20% of people actually have any symptoms at all. They require face coverings, so what is the problem? The service was fast (I had an alignment and a brake adjustment done) and Mason, the service rep was great to work with--super knowledgeable and courteous, and he gave me some good recommendations on how Firestone's services can help me going forward. They also have the ability to adjust alignment on my truck with an aftermarket lift, which many service centers (even other Firestones) would not do. I'll be back here for sure. read more

Despite my skepticism I was satisfied and will llikely be back. And if the after-service that comes with the life of the tires (eg front-end alignments, etc) is not satisfactory, I'll revise my star rating downward. I have always used a Northwest retail tire chain and been very satisfied. This time, I decided to shop around via the Internet. (The NW chain didn't have prices posted online so didn't make it into my final consideration set.) PROS: - One of the few tire stores with prices posted on the Internet, along with the capability to produce a price quote. And the pricing was competitive. - The only tire store I found that had the capability to make an appointment on-line, though it can be improved - see CONs. - Customer satisfaction seemed to be a priority, and the store personnel immediately addressed issues to my satisfaction. When I viewed my receipt upon returning home, I noticed an extra charge that was not in the quote. When I called to complain, Firestone apologized for the delta and immediately refunded the charge. There was also a minor issue with the wrong tires being installed (see second bullet in CONS), but Firestone addressed it to my satisfaction. - My automobile was available quickly at the promised time. CONS: - Though the online appointment tool is convenient, it is not tied to the store's calendar. Thus, the time you set is actually a request, and if the time is not available (as in my case) a representative calls you to find a mutually acceptable time. - The online estimate tool is convenient, but Firestone seems to be still working through some minor kinks. One was the extra charge described in the third bullet under "PROS", as it did not appear in the quote - but Firestone immediately refunded the charge when I pointed it out. The other was that the tires that were installed were mistakenly a grade lower than the ones I ordered. Firestone offered to come to my house and change them, but I decided to stay with those installed because Firestone had applied the 10% discount special (which was only advertised for the higher-grade tire) when they mounted the lower-grade tires. There was one other interaction to point out; not clear if it was a PRO or a CON. So I'll just describe it and let you decide. When I brought my car in there were two men at the counter. The one who I dealt with suggested adding a front-end alignment if I planned to keep the car much longer, and he quoted the price. The other man was listening to our entire conversation, and said nothing UNTIL AFTER I said No Thank you to the quote. Then he piped in that the alignment was on special at a greater than 50% discount. That convinced me to get the alignment. So... If I had accepted the original quoted price, WOULD HE HAVE CONTINUED SILENTLY listening? My 80 yr old mom went in to get her oil changed, and they tried to scare her into getting $1200 worth of work that they said needed to be done immediately. In fact, they said, they could fix it "right now!" Luckily, she's not a sucker, and got a second opinion at the Chevron on 145th and Main St. There, she had Angelo (who's been working there for 19 yrs) check out the components that Firestone said needed to be replaced, and Angelo informed her that there was nothing wrong with her car. The shady folks at Firestone should be ashamed of themselves for trying to take advantage of people like that. Our neighbor has been going to them for years, and he was the one that recommended them to my mom. But after hearing her story, he said he'd be taking his business elsewhere, too. Save yourself time and $. This place is unprofessional and not trust wothy. I have been coming to Firestone Bellevue for past 5 years or so, but the business relationship shall be terminated permanently, after simple oil change was about to turn into an oil pan issue. Tim and James obviously lack skills to get the drain plug out, as their diagnosis indicates they do not feel comfortable completing the oil change, and my car "most likely needs new oil pan." After consulting with few friends and a pro mechanic, I came to a conclusion Firestone is a total rip off. Trianed auto tech should not struggle to take the plug, is what I heard from multiple people. So I ended up taking my vehicle to another shop, and it took them simple 1/2 hour to get it done, and of course I heard no words from them in regards to the "tight plug." I since called Firestone to talk about this issue, but James gets very defensive and constantly interrupting while I was talking. Not the best way to solve unhappy customer issue. read more

This shop is a disgrace for the Firestone brand! They are utterly and purely incompetent at identifying and pointing out an issue with a car! They charge you $130+ in order to tell you that your entire suspension is messed up on a 17 year old car and that they cannot do anything besides charge you $3000+ to replace your entire suspension when all you wanted to know is why your car makes a squeak when you turn the steering wheel! Of course it's an old car and thus it has a worn out suspension but you should be able to identify the exact part that is causing an issue...especially when you charge $130 plus! WOW - This store has now become a haven for rude racists. I used to frequent this store for pretty much all repairs, oil changes, etc. But, now, things have changed. The sales manager Paul is very disrespectful towards his customers, especially those with foreign sounding names. The actual store manager is never available - not when I dropped off the vehicle and not when Paul's behavior took place. Not only is Paul rude, condescending and racist, he doubles down on his misbehavior - which he did 3 times on the same day. No apologies were forthcoming from him, even when we called him out on his attitude. He kept talking about ALL the work he had to do before us and ALL the phone calls he had to attend while we were standing right in front of him. The night before when I asked to use the restroom, I was sent all the way around the building in cold and windy weather, and darkness, even though there was a door right in front of us leading straight to the men's room. So, I think, this racism at this store goes beyond Paul. In conclusion, if you want to encourage racists, go right ahead and use this place. If you don't, go elsewhere - there are dozens of shops in the area. read more

I was in need of assistance late Sunday evening 1/21/19 and was unfortunately turned away by the Issaquah and Renton branches because it was 3pm and too close to closing time.   I then called over to the Bellevue location (off of 140th Ave NE).  The rep who answered the phone urged me to at least come by for an assessment quickly before they closed soon.  I stopped by and David Curtis and his team we're able to fix my flat tire and get me back on the road in one hour!   I was very impressed with the speed, efficiency and stellar customer relations skills exuded by the staff there! read more

I've been going to this location for years and have been moderately happy. It was reasonably close to home and the manager dealt with me fairly putting air in my tires for free and repairing work that failed without question. However, there seemed to be more re-do's than necessary and this shop, and the Woodinville Firestone, both shops installed parts that were apparently not quality as they did not last long -- but longer than the one year warranty. I got up earlier to drive 15 miles to be on time. When I came a service man told me they decided to close the shop today and I had to drive back home. Had Firestone tires and one of them got a nail in it. When I asked to get a patch, it took them two hours and they couldn't find it. When I took a look it took me about 2 minutes to find the nail. They then tried to up sell me for $250 to clean off my battery. Not only could they not do their job, but they try to scam people who they think don't know anything about cars, save yourself the hassle and go to Les Schwab. read more

I had all 4 tires replaced here last Saturday morning. On Tuesday afternoon, my right rear tire was flat. I went back into the store Tuesday evening before closing and Tim helped me out. Since it was right before closing, the technicians had left for the day, so I left the flat tire at the store and came back the next day once the tire was fixed. They quickly worked to get my tire back on my car even though the shop was full with other customers. They get a 5-star rating because my entire experience, Saturday morning to Wednesday afternoon, was great. Tim, Paul and Mason (who helped me on the phone) were very cordial. Tim was especially nice. This store should have its business license revoked. They lie, they over-charge, and they over-promise. The technicians are incompetent. I had taken my 2010 BMX+W X5 to them for changing the 4 tires. They called me and told me that I had problems with my brakes, cooling system, and the steering. I believed them. What a mistake! $7000 and many days later, my car is still broke. They have tried 4 times now, claiming every time that they have fixed the problem. We have already have had 2 breakdowns in the middle of a highway, despite their assurance that it was safe to drive. Wow. What a lousy place to take your car. First they quoted me the wrong price for an oil change saying it was for a synthetic oil change when they really meant a blend. Then they neglected to check and fill up the fluids in the car. Then they took an oil filter I had in the car and used that to change my filter and charged me for theirs. When I pointed out that it was missing they claimed it wasn't there. Oh and the best part is the actual oil change took 1.5 hours and they rescheduled it once because they were too busy.
