I've never been to Jiffy Lube before. I usually have my service done at the dealership. However, finances have been tight and I was short on time so, decided to give them a chance. Things were moving along when they pulled out my air filter and showed me how dirty it was. I agreed we should replace it but, they didn't have one in stock but, could order one from O'Reily Auto Parts. That sounded like me having to come back. Since there is an O'Reilly Auto Parts in that same parking lot, I said I'd just go pick one up right now. So, I got out of the vehicle walked out of the shop area and across the parking lot.(Make note: They let you sit in the vehicle IN THE SHOP while they change your oil which is nice right?.. we'll come back to this) O'Reily didn't have the manufacture's brand so, I bought the most expensive aftermarket they had and head back over to the shop. As I walk around the shop to the front, I walk through a cloud of Marijuana. I don't think much of and keep heading to the shop. My truck was parked in "Bay #1" which is the end of the lane before you exit the shop. So, I walked up to where it was holding the air filter. This is when a guy whose name is apparently "Freddy" but, that doesn't match is name tag which I couldn't read but, it did start with F however was much longer than "Freddy". Anyhow, He barks at me, "Hey Step Back, Step back!". And waves his hand at me for me to back up. His tone is rude and he's talking down to me like I'm 5 years old. It gives me the impression that he doesn't like customers and is sick of his job. I'm literally 1 foot over where the black top turns into the concrete floor of the shop. I step back and NO WHERE is there any indicator lines to the customers of where they can and cannot step. If they allow you to say in your car, in the shop, there needs to be some clarity on where you can and cannot walk if you get out of your car to avoid this problem. Of course this doesn't excuse being rude to customers. Anyhow back to the air filter. When the new air filter comes out the box. It's about 1/3 shorter than the air filter from the factory. This doesn't sit well with me. I paid O'Reily for top of the line aftermarket and it's still not as good as factory. If you have shorter, and less folds, that means the you got less surface area to filter. Would it work, probably. Am I going to accept that? No. I ask someone to look it up on their computer for me and let me know if O'Reily gave me the wrong part. They clearly couldn't find it but, instead of saying so, they avoided me asking if they did and just said, it will work fine. I hate it when people who are supposed to be pro's guess but, pretend like they know it's true. Before I can object, another guy with super greasy hands comes by and grabs the air filter and puts it in the truck in an attempt to show me it fits. Now he's put grease on the air filter and I'm worried I can't return it. I let him know and he responds with I'm sure they'll take it back as long as somethings in the box..... Now Freddy who's kind of a big guy comes over and tries to bully me into accepting the air filter. He talks down to me again, condescendingly letting me know that it will work fine. I mention, not for the first time, that I paid a premium and got less because the air filter is shorter. He tells me it doesn't matter in an aggressive tone like I'm an idiot. At this point I'm getting mad, I just want my air filter back so I can refund it. I respond to Freddy and inform him that I am an engineer and if he'd like to argue about how Airflow, or the movement of air, is governed by the principles of fluid dynamics and how that works we can do that. At which point he looks down at me, lets out a pfft, and turns away. Now I'm pissed and I get the air filter and point at Freddy and say, that guy is pissing me off. Don't let him talk to me again. I go and refund the air filter. Obviously now, I'm having a bad customer experience and it would be a good time for an apology but, that doesn't happen. I come back from O'Reilly and walk into the garage to get in my truck. I pass by a guy, Nick is his name he's actually the manager but, I don't know that yet, he's standing by the front fender of my truck. He's holding a IPad or clipboard and bundled in his hand is a Nut Pick that has a blackened end on it. Obviously this is our pot smoker and he's been using that Nut Pick to clean out his pipe. This does not make me happy. If you are going to smoke pot or drink at work, I won't be having you work on my vehicle. Finally, they cash me out and I had over to O'Reily to see if they have the air filter made by Chrysler. I walk in the store and who's coming from the back? Freddy and he's glaring me down as he goes by. Nick apologized to me when I went back and asked for the manager but, as I left, I realized no, I won't go back there and maybe I can save someone else a bad experience. read more

RAMSEY IS NOT SAFE : He is verbally abusive during my 30 mins there he hung up on customers and laughed about it and one customer WAS GONNA CALLED THE COPS related to another issue . I have a very serious complaint against Ramsey one of your employees who was working on my car . As he was doing so, two alerts suddenly started showing up. It would only do so while he was working on the tires or touching it . This has never happened before . Carson was so nice , he tried to defend me but Ramsey became increasingly aggressive. When I asked what is happening he said he didn't know why and maybe it has something to do with the tire pressure . He then tells me to drive around for 5 mins and come back if it was still going on. He looked a bit uncomfortable as he was telling me . Something told me to ask for the manager's contact information just in case . I exited my car and went to the office to ask for a contact information. This is when he got really AGGRESSIVE AND I THOUGHT HE WAS GONNA PUT HIS HANDS ON ME . I have never feared a man this way. He then said he was the manger and while yelling .. "nothing is wrong with your car" . He proceeds to saying that I need to exit the property because I was trespassing mind you 2 mins before he told me to drive around to confirm if what was happening to my car was related to him putting air in the tire . He proceeds to calling me unprofessional and forced me to leave . While I was there was another customer threatening to call the cops on him . Now I understand why. This is not a safe place for anyone. Also keep in mind while i was there . I saw him hang up on several customers on the phone and was making very loud sexual jokes! If I could give 0 stars I would. It baffles me how no one takes accountability here. I came here to get my head light changed. I couldn't do it due to my fuse box being in the way. Someone changed it, super nice and kind. He said my light wasn't working so I would need to get it checked out. I paid another mechanic to look at it and come to find out the guy at jiffy lube didn't put the light back in place. So now I paid someone else for a mistake jiffy lube made. Not a huge deal but definitely could have been avoided if the work was double checked. Came here for an oil change. (One thing I can say is their customer service is good at times) They asked if I wanted an engine flush and I said no. The mechanic said she wouldn't feel comfortable to do an oil change if I didn't do an engine flush. I'm in a rush on my lunch so I said fine (my mistake). I live 1 minute away so I didn't have to drive too far. The next day I do drive my car it starts driving rough, the engine kicks and turns off. I have a new battery in my car so this should not be an issue. This has never happened in the 5/6 years I've had this car. I immediately call jiffy lube and the manager was nice but kept stating it was not due to the engine flush. (It was not diagnosed so he wouldn't know) he called upper management and they said the same thing. All in all they have no protocol when they potentially damaged a vehicle. I didn't even want my money back I just wanted to know what they did to my car. Engine flushes can damage engine seals, engine bearings which will lead you to issues. Nicholas informed me that the belt is not in the good condition and may causing a bigger problem and may break off at anytime.Went back to the shop on the next morning to get it replaced. Do not go this place if your car is Honda. They can not do brake fluid replacement or brake inspection on Honda Civic. And I called ahead to ask if they are able to do it on that type of car hours ahead, after received confirmation from them. I decide to come. After wait almost 2 hours and spent 108 dollars on oil change. They told me they can not do the brake fluid replacement on my car. And in the middle, someone try to sell us to replace our spark plug, our car only has 15,000 miles on it, I have doubt so I google it. Turns out you do not need to change spark plug unless you are in 30,000 or more. Luckily I stop them before that service happen, and did not spent more money on it. Such a waste of time and money, I thought come to this store can save me a trip to the Honda dealer, I was wrong! I am sure other brands of car may have better luck than me, but I will not returning to this chain store for any future service since they can not accommodate my car. And I recommend you go to other auto store if your car is Honda too, so you won't waste your time at jiffy lube. read more

I know not good planning on my part (the Saturday b4 a holiday week and for some the first full week of summer break but when that oil light comes on you must not ignore the issue). I've been here before, but most recently I met three exceptional workers. I've been trying to sell my car, and one of the buyers pointed out a bit of oil at the bottom of the engine area. I had no idea what was happening and rushed to this jiffy lube. I was met by Elliot, Shawn, and Brad who served me IMMEDIATELY. They found the problem within 2 minutes, it was a funky gasket. They then replaced it faster than I thought possible. I was there for under 10 minutes. These three amazing employees need to be praised. They were informative, kind, and extremely helpful. Jiffy Lube is like Burger King or McDonald's: you try to pick a good one and then walk in with low expectations, and just hope they don't screw it up. I walked in more apprehensive than usual because I knew it was close to closing time, and these places are often staffed with very young, easily distracted people. One of the crew was chatting up a couple girls outside when I drove up. I was kind-of asking for it. Happily, they took pretty good care of me. Though tired and a bit grumpy, the manager went out of his way to get me the best price on my service (these guys almost always have a coupon out there, you just have to look), and the service itself was good; fluids topped, windows wiped, the usual. Detractors: only a bit of oil on the fender and a failed hood closure, which is usual. Ford Fusions have wonky hoods. Friendly enough and effective enough. Normally a three star experience at best, I have to toss them a bone here for getting me in and doing it right when they could have been locking up shop and taking those girls out for a soda and a burger. I won't come back here. Brought my 2014 Jeep in for an oil change 6.13.2017 it was literally in and out in about 5 minutes, so quick I asked if they actually changed the oil and filter. The African American lady assured me they did and explained why it was so quick as where my filter is located. Woke up the following morning 6.14.2017 with a 12x12 oil puddle on my garage floor. All through the day oil kept leaking. I brought it back in and they assured me the filter, plug etc was correct but they sloppily and carelessly over filled it so much that oil was all over the casing as well as all over the whole inside of my Jeep which leaked all day long. Brian, the new manager took 15 or so minutes to clean it up. He didn't offer a refund etc until I told him they lost my business and being sloppy and careless is not a place I will do business. I was offered "Maybe next time you come in we can give you 50% off". 6.17.17 My oil changed was never refunded. Did send an email with invoice to the email below, let's see if this gets resolved. This could have ruined seals on other parts of my Jeep. I'd steer clear of sloppy work at this location!! 1.2018 I was told by the GM Cody Ryalls of JL I could go at Anytime for a free oil change. I arrive at Duvall as we discussed and they refused to change my oil because Cody is no longer the GM of Duvall. I showed them the email and asked for them to verify that I had not had an oil change and to call their new GM - they refused. Just more shitty service from a shitty company. I went for a quick oil change. When I checked in they told me I was due for the 100K Mile coolant flush and also changing the spark plugs. As I have 118K miles I agreed. They said this would take 45 min to 1 hour. As I was leaving to take a 45 min walk, they stopped me and said they could not flush the coolant because my car is a hybrid. I said OK just do the spark plugs. They called me after 45 min to say they were done. When I got back they told me they could not change the spark plugs because they (or the person they get parts from) didn't have my type. So it took 45 minutes for me just to get the oil changed. Maybe some of time was them trying to get ahold of my spark plug type? This site advertises that in addition to oil changes they can rotate tires and change spark plugs. The two techs working that day, 4:00 PM on a Thursday, did not give me confidence they could do this wide a range of work well. I go to Jiffy Lube to get a fast oil change. In the past I have been impressed how quickly and efficiently they can change my oil, but not this time. read more

These people are great. I pulled into their parking lot because my car was overheated with steam coming out from under the hood, and I was looking for a place to add water so I could get to a mechanic. They came out as soon as I pulled in and we took a look under the hood. My radiator was cracked and leaking and with steam shooting out of it. Even though they are an oil change business, they got a new radiator, installed it and had me on my way in about an hour, for less than half of what a dealer would have charged me.
