Amazing sandwiches! I got a turkey and cheese sandwich that I expected to come out cold (since I wasn't asked if I wanted it toasted) BUT to my pleasant surprise, my sandwich came out nice and toasty! It was amazing!!! My fiancé got their sweet and spicy meatball sub which was the perfect blend of spicy and sweet! It definitely had a kick but most places say somethings spicy and come out not at all. He loved it! Didn't even have to eat here to be treated rudely. Chipotle is located next door. We went to the outside dining area and sat at one of their tables, not thinking it would be a problem. An older gentleman with glasses approached us, asking if we had any Firehouse Sub food. We replied that we didnt, and he asked us to leave, as he had guests waiting for the table. We kindly moved. We apolozized, but he continued. "If you had any of our food, this wouldnt be a problem... I need these tables open for my customers..." I noticed that there were many available tables inside the restaurant. After we finished our meal, I saw that in fact no one was seated at the table we were removed from. This place smokes Subway or Togos, The sandwhich selection is diverse and both times the sandwiches I had were not only perfectly prepared, but awesome in flavor. This place is way overpriced for their sandwhiches. I ordered a cranberry turkey from the 500 calories or less menu (which the picture of the sandwhich looked huge). When i got the sandwhich i didnt know whether to hug it or eat it. It was the smallest sandwhich i have ever seen for 10 dollars. The sandwhich was good dont get me wrong but for 10 dollars i can get a massive sandwhich from subway or jersey mikes with a combo chips and drink. I walked up to the 10,000 workers they have standing around training and asked if this is right because my friends sandwhich was double the size of mine which he had paid the same price.The worker said that the sandwhich has the same amount of meat as the regular subs except less bread. A blind man can see that there is no way you guys put the same amount of meat in a sandwhich under 500 calories and a regular sub. We both walked out hungry and unsatisfied. This place will not last unless they lower their prices or make their sandwhiches bigger. read more

If you happen to order a Firehouse Salad like I innocently did, you're going to want a side of CPR with that, cuz this bad boy is on life support. Omgosh. They make the best subs/sandwiches ever! I have to start the review like that. Best tasting sandwich I have ever had! Love love love. Okay, so the place is very clean, plenty of seating and I really like the firehouse feel and decor. The staff is overly helpful and friendly. Which I love. They check on you regularly, give helpful suggestions and treat you more like family than a customer. I was surprised by the size of the sandwich at first but it was just enough! Of course my husband had to order two but he said it was more than worth it. The plaza has lots of parking and there is shaded seating outside as well. Will be back! read more

Sandwiches are great! Cookies are good too. Haven't tried much else yet. Bread is always soft and fresh and the meat portion are good. Sandwiches are a bit pricey but I think you get a quality sandwich in return. They have a fun soda machine that let's you pick all the different syrups for different sodas. They also have a hot sauce bar that they rate each sauce with a hotness number, fun to experience but I usually just go with the firehouse BBQ like hot sauce. Every time I go there I feel like family when I walk in. I don't even go enough to be known just the feel when you walk in the door. I order food online and they are always on the money with my orders. The quality is spot on. The service is always friendly and quick. They have the awesome soda machine there that gives you all your choices. Yum yum. The BBQ sauce is fantastic. I'm guessing this location is under new ownership. The original owners were so friendly and inviting. Now when I walk in, no one greets me even as I walk right by them at the counter. I walked up to the register and the woman taking orders just stared at me, requiring me to start my order without being asked. No thank you after paying. Just unfriendly and bad vibe. I'll just hit the Chipotle next door next time. Sandwiches are still the same, which is the only reason for the 3 stars - otherwise it'd be a 1. I don't like unfriendly places. Finally was able to make it out to try this new restaurant. Arrived at 11:30 and was among just a few patrons. By 12:15 the place was packed: 12-14 people in line waiting to order. Nearly every seat taken. Huge staff on duty making sandwiches as fast as their hands could go. Being a bit obsessive, I timed how long it took for people to get their food during their rush. Seven minutes! Pretty darned good I'd say!! Attentive, courteous and helpful "young-ish" people working on the sandwich line and running food out to the customers. Owners/managers checking in with everyone to be sure all understood the menu, were happy and that their food was as expected. There were two of us. We shared a meatball and a three-meat cold cut sandwich. Both excellent. Very fresh tasting meats and the bread is outstanding! Drink machine is a kick. A bit confusing at first but once you get the hang of it you can get about anything you can think of or combine. (my son wanted grape soda and there were even at least two kinds of grape soda to choose from!!) Very clean. Owners show great pride in their new place. Fun, comfortable atmosphere. Tables a little "jammed together"....it's not a huge place....but that adds to the energy and enjoyment of eating in. I visited this place after passing by many times without much notice. I am glad I stopped in and do see potential for a great place. First as I walked in I was confused of the layout. Setup like subway yet you only order at the end of the line not as you go down. Also the menu being on the wall in small print is very hard to read (even for my youngster eyes) they have 2-3 laminated normal size menus in the line area. Once I figured out what I wanted and had my order taken by a smile and great employee that seemed to answer any and all questions I felt satisfied. Once I got my sandwich I was pleased. Yet it had tomatoes on it, and on the menu the sub I ordered did not have tomatoes. Okay easy enough fix take them off. Then I got a side of chili that was supposed to be so good. I have had canned chili better than this. There was no seasoning in it what so ever. It was just a bowl of... Ingredients. I don't know how more to describe it. Disappointing. All in all the sub (after I took off the "extra" ingredients) was good. The layout was odd. And chili was very disappointing. I ordered the medium Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket which came out to $8.49 including tax. This is by far the smallest $8 sandwich I've ever seen..I couldn't believe it clocked in at 890 calories. Again, while the variety and quality is good...you would be better off going to Old School, The Sandwich Spot or Steak and Hoagie if you want to fill up on your sandwich for $9 or less. read more

OMG I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! My husband and I visited this restaurant only a week after they opened and boy do they have it together! Not only are the sandwiches amazing but the entire staff was wonderful. We've recommended to friends who have already visited and love it as well. Super good sub sandwiches in a clean, new location. Friendly service (although the teenager I had serve me last was pretty clueless.. kept making mistakes.. the manager was gracious, however, and fixed everything with a smile). The prices are well above a Subway or Quiznos but so is the quality. Very busy around lunch, so be prepared to wait. 10-15 minutes is the norm via my experience. If you have small kids with you be sure to get a free fire hat! We'll be back. Great place! read more
