I haven't had the chance to visit this spot in person yet, but I've ordered their catering for work and done pickup many times. While I can't speak to the dine in experience, I can definitely say the food is delicious. The rice with beans isn't quite as good as I've had elsewhere and isn't something I'm fully used to yet, but it's still decent. The macaroni salad is a standout, and both the chicken and steak along with the sauce are flavorful and satisfying. Those are the items I've tried so far, and I'm excited to explore more of the menu. It does have a slightly different style compared to other Hawaiian barbecue I've had, but it's still really enjoyable. I like that they have smaller bowls for kids, because my kids don't eat so much so their kids bowl is a great portion for them. Alright Alright from all the raving reviews it seems like I'm the outlier but honestly after hearing such good things about this place I wasn't too impressed. I ordered 2 of the steak and shrimp platters. One lava flow peanut with noodles and the other fire island teriyaki with island rice. The lava flow peanut really lacked flavor and was underwhelming, it didn't really add anything to the dish. The noodles were sub par and not flavored. The fire island teriyaki was definitely the better flavor. I did enjoy the hints of coconut and mixed beans of the island rice. Both platters had good steak and great shrimp. I would say my favorite part of this meal was their delicious mac salad. Grilling the sauteed vegetables was a nice touch but otherwise, it was a little too watery for my taste. Overall almost $20 for a platter doesn't seem worth it to me and while I love Hawaiian cuisine, there are others that also do it well. read more

The bowls come with meat, chopped veggies and choice of rice. The size of the dish and the price is appropriate for dinner. When I walked inside, a worker greeted me and I told him I placed my order online. He said there usually an issue with online order through their website so it doesn't put in the order properly, so he had to look it up and found my order to work on it right away. The place is a decent size inside and they have outdoor seating as well. It took the worker like 5 minutes to get my order ready and I went back to eat it at the office. The portion they give here is pretty decent, I got a good size of chicken and noodles. I thought the spicy pineapple teriyaki sauce was good to add to the food and I enjoyed it. Ordered online with my wife as we just got back from the gym and wanted a quick bite before going to the pool. Safe to say we are very disappointed with the quality of our meal. First of all, our orders were swapped in terms of which sauces went on which bowl. My wife wanted spicy pineapple teriyaki sauce and didn't receive it on hers. (My bowl had noodles so that's how we could differentiate which bowls were which and her's only had rice FYI) We asked for extra sauce and they DOUSED our bowls in sauce to the point where it is entirely inedible.
