I had a training in town and was looking at what lunch options I had a saw Pokitomik and knew it was the spot. I ordered online before they were open and set my pickup time between 1145-1200 and as I walked in at 1155 it was ready to go cheewho. The large bowl was more like and xl brown the thing was massive! I made some request comments to add extra seaweed salad for my extra options I didn't use and for wasabi and ginger to be on the side and they nailed it perfectly! The freshness, quality and over all execution was phenomenal and I would 10/10 eat here any time in in town!! read more

Everything about the valley glen location was amazing ! Andre helped us make a delicious poke burrito and bowl and we were so happy to find this spot nearby to us since we love poke!! It amazes me that this spot is open and serves people. I received a bowl of tuna that was literally brown and smelled so fishy, I almost barfed. It was so incredibly obvious that nothing in that bowl was fresh and I thought I'd get sick after taking a bite. I just cannot believe the quality of food they had the balls to scoop up and feed people with. Can I call the health department? DISGUSTING. read more

Came here after a long drive! Food was good (I'd say considering it's in Simi Valley.. hopefully this isn't a diss). Not some of the best poke I've had, especially as I'm coming from the SGV, but service was quick and if you're so hungry you might pass out (which was me when i ate here), this will definitely do the trick! There's tables to sit as well, and size portions are good. I wish they offered a little more variety in toppings (example: a slice of lemon would count as a scoop...) but they had hot cheetos as a topping, so i was like why not?? read more

Sushi burritos are fantastic! We went with soy paper, the sweet salmon (teriyaki glazed) and shoyu tuna for the proteins, and spicy crab salad and a variety of toppings. I love poke but getting it in a burrito is even better. I've had it before with Cheeto dust but this time I decided plain might be better -- I was right! read more

This place really surprised me! I loved it! It's a totally different take on sushi that both me and my teenagers loved. Being able to create my own roll was mind blowing. So many different options that I've already gone back to try something new. The team works very quickly to put it together so you never have to wait long. We got two of the regular bowls with the sweet salmon & it was very good. Fish seems to be fresh & we liked the choice of toppings that were available. The boys were thirsty and there wasn't an option for water on the kiosk, so I called one of the cooks from the back to pay for a water and he rang me up. It was pretty rough in there. At one point I had to get up and grab my own fork by reaching over the counter. Once our food was ready, one of the cooks brought our food and I wasn't really feeling my meal, which was the dynamite crawfish bowl. I didn't like the sauce it came with. I just picked at the crawfish and left the rest. As for the boys meal, the fried chicken adobo bowl was REALLY good! I ended up eating theirs because my oldest son didn't like it, which was great for me lol. My youngest and I tore that bowl up. Anyway, the verdict is, I may search around for other options but I know that if I can't find anything else I can always grab a chicken adobo bowl but the service was pretty nonexistent. That chicken adobo bowl saved it. OOO 3 out of 5

The sushi/sashimi, which are the main star of the entire buffet, are honestly pretty decent but with a caveat. They are obviously not sushi restaurants quality, but the fish are fresh enough and the sushi rice are decent enough that I when back for more. The only thing that concerned me is that the tongs used for sushi and sashimi are very dirty with food residue on them. They don't seem to be changing frequently if at all, and using something that has been touching raw fish and sitting out for a long time concerns me. If I get sick from the sushi it is probably not the sushi itself but the tongs. Lastly, the desert section is great like many comments have said, the fruits are fresh, cakes are decent, and the gelato ice creams are very high quality. Service is alright. They have remodeled so it is definitely cleaner than before and the bathroom is nice too. If the drinks were incredible then I wouldn't have as much of a problem with it, but I don't think they are worth the price.

Tonight was my fourth time going to PokiTomik. I've been hooked since the first time my fiance and I went! We both got the bowls the first time and they were delicious. We have gone back and tried the wonton tacos ~ also delicious! The food is full of flavor and delicious! Tonight we went in and got a few bowls and 2 tacos, our server Aaron was so awesome! As soon as we walked in he greeted us and seemed very friendly and welcoming. He was engaged while we ordered and hyped up all the food we were ordering. He definitely made the experience great. I've been to many different poki places, but nothing beats Poki Tomik. The food is incredibly delicious -- everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared.
