The service was fast, but i'm not kidding when I say every employee on shift today was talking bad about a customer, from the time he walked in the door. No matter how someone looks, whether or not you've had a bad experience with them before. You treat someone like everyone else in the community. And, if you're going to be petty and talk bad about someone, there's a time and place for everything. And at work I front of the customer and other customers because yes, I did hear what they were saying, and how they were laughing: this was not the place to do that. Very childish and unprofessional. Even what looked to be the manager on duty was taking part. Remember. You NEVER know what someone is going through. Your establishment may be the only meal he eats today. Those clothes he was wearing may be the only pair he has, and it is not up to anyone to judge him or anyone else. read more

Depends when you go to this one. Some of the employees are very nice and take some pride in their work. Some on the other hand do not. I really like Firehouse, for fast food subs they are excellent. Prices are reasonable and they have a very good selection to choose from. This particular location has some really good employees and some not so good employees. You can tell when the good ones are on. The restaurant is clean and stocked with napkins and other essentials. Plus your sandwich is made with a little bit of care. When you walk in and see a mess no napkins dirty floors etc. Just walk away. The bad employees are working. Your sandwich will be thrown together and you will have to clean a table off to sit at. This location has gone way downhill. I came here last week for a sandwich and the girl at the counter told me that if I wanted to order it would be a 15 minute wait and that they were only accepting credit cards. They didn't seem very busy so I went ahead and ordered their Cheesesteak sandwich with extra cheese and added mayo. It did take 15-20 minutes to get my sandwich but I was aware of it beforehand so it wasn't a big deal. I took it to go and when I got back to work I realized that they didn't put extra cheese, no mayo & they put regular onions on it rather than the grilled onions that are offered on this sandwich. I went ahead and picked them off and said "eh, people make mistakes" and went on about my day. I decided today to give them another chance and ordered lunch for myself and my kids. My sandwich was perfect and I ordered my daughter a kids ham sandwich with cheese and mayo and they forgot the mayo (no big deal, added it at home). My sons sandwich was absolutely pathetic. I ordered him the "hook and ladder" and this is what we got. I'll have to find another location or switch to Jersey Mikes. They are only getting 2 stars because my sandwich was made correctly and is one of my favorites. Their service needs work. read more

Place was dead at 5pm... no other customers. Not a good sign. Got a Steak and cheese sub to go. Staff seemed to have treat the only customer in the store as a nuisance and were very slow to fill my order.Was very bland and the bread was obviously not fresh extremely dried out(No not from being toasted I do know the difference) Extremely bland did I mention?? This happens when the ingredients are old. My bet they are saving the food well beyond the shelf life since no customers AVOID this location!!!! read more

New location open... friendly guys working. I just have a thing about not seeing you make my sandwich.. got the steak n cheese, no mustard. I say ok as I wanted a quick fix for my craving right now. They have decent sandwiches here but they take so long to make them. I came here a couple times and it took about 20-25 minutes to make two sandwiches! This location is really quick and very friendly. I got the one with the cranberry sauce and turkey on it and I was pretty impressed by the sandwich. I also love that they have little plastic fire hats for the children to wear. My son absolutely loves this place. hum....so we were stoked to see a firehouse closer than 1960 but the crew at 1960 does a great job. We expected the same and the first two weeks went well but this week went south quickly. I stopped in for lunch and it took about 15 minutes to get a to go sub. Well, I guess that is OK for 12:30ish. Went Sunday around 1:30 and waited OVER 25 minutes but we weren't the only ones. One family's meatball sub came out first but their salad and other sandwich came out several minutes later. Stopped after church a few weeks ago to try for the first time. The subs were okay, but nothing to write home about. Though only a few people were in line, it took 15 minutes for two subs. I chocked it up to new crew and store. A family member went Friday to get two steak and cheese subs. She was the only one in line, heck the only customer in the store, and it still took 25 minutes for the subs. The subs were dry and tasteless. Average subs and above average wait times does not equal success. I will not return, too many other choices for subs. read more

Went in Saturday night- Food was excellent however all the tables were dirty, the two employees behind the counter were standing around. The floor was filthy: chips, wrappers, napkins everywhere and one of the employees pretended to hock a lugee (who spells this word on a regular basis?) in the food as he delivered the order to a table (Of course, it was a table of his friends but I doubt that was an appropriate sound and visual for the other guests) My husband eats here at another location for lunch about once a week- we were really excited to see one open by the house! I've read the other reviews about the long wait times for subs but I have not experienced this here. I mean it's Firehouse, they are not fast anywhere but I do not find this location to be abnormally slow. Other than that, it's classic Firehouse. Good subs, fun hot sauces and great tea. read more

The subs here are hot, which I like. As a bonus they have a selection of hot sauces to spice up your sub if you so desire. These are labeled from 1 -10 respectively, and many of the bottles on the hotter side of things are truly no joke. The sandwiches are hot and fresh, and the selection is just right for a sub place. We definitely needed a new sandwich shop in the area, so I am glad to see this location has arrived. The one main con I can say is that if you have been to a different location of Firehous Subs, you may be slightly disappointed with the service at this one. read more

I'm a Huge Firehouse Sub Fan, I have pics of 50 murals at different locations around the country. The quality has always been consistently superb., until last week. The sandwiches were half the normal meat, the Hook and Ladder had way too much mayo, the I had a yearning for BBQ so I had the Smokehouse and it had half the meat, little BBQ Sauce, and little cheddar. I've never minded their high priced, slow to fix subs, because of their previous high standards. I will definitely will to eat their subs, at different locations, unless they all go downhill! This place is great! You can order pick up on line and it is ready and paid for at a time of your choosing. The place is clean with friendly staff and the food? Much mo better than Subway! My wife gets the "Mommas homemade chicken salad and she loves it. Ive had the meatball sub and the Club. They were both outstanding. This is a great alternative for the Cypress area. Get the lead out! I love this chain. But this location is getting horrible about the time it takes to get food out. I'm not expecting a sloppy rush but 20 minutes for a sandwich is ridiculous. Came in to a young man who was too busy hugging his girlfriend to say hello. Then we stood at TW ordering desk while he finished up and walked past us and another customer standing at the counter and went to the back. Waited a few more minutes and then a young African American woman came out. We asked her if the guy was blind or deaf and just didn't see us. She sort of laughed and said "I'm sorry about that". When he came out I said thanks for ignoring your customers and he sort of mumbled something. Firehouse has good subs and that's the only reason we stayed. read more

Always hot and fresh. My guy loves the sandwiches over other sub places. So I like to grab him and I one sometimes. Almost always have our orders been great! Once they were messed up, but the management fixed everything and made it right. read more

We were excited to see when this opened but were very disappointed when we tried it. We ordered steak and cheese sandwiches and they were very bland. The wait was long and it seemed overpriced. They seemed to be understaffed but this was when it first opened so it may be better now. The staff was friendly and I did like the firehouse atmosphere. read more

I usually have no problem Firehouse- they're my go to for all my sub cravings. However, this is the second time that I have used the Firehouse sub app/ mobile order and both times have been a nightmare! This past time, today, I went to pick up my mobile order. Out of habit I check everything to make sure everything is correct, and if it isn't correct, that the order gets fixed when I am still there. As I checked my subs (all correct), I touched one and it's stone cold. I open another sub box and it's cold too. I look at the receipt and my subs (5) were made 35 minutes earlier than my expected pick up time! When I asked if there was anything that Firehouse could do about it, I was told "sorry" and given a shrug of the shoulders. I then asked if they could retoast the subs and his response was that he could microwave them. I politely declined and decided to warm them in my oven at home. Once they were warm, as every meatball and turkey bacon ranch sub should be, I then sat down with my family to eat. Usually this would not be a big deal, but this was my mom's birthday dinner and I did not want to come home and tell her that she would have to eat because her food was cold. The reason that I have 2 stars instead of one was because when I called back the manager, he reluctantly refunded the order's total. I was shocked that he did not offer any solution except a microwave, which would make the bread hard and lumpy. I don't think I'm wrong for wondering why he didn't offer a discount on the spot or simply remake the 5 subs since I was the only customer at that time and the food wasn't up to standards. read more
