He said they don't have curbside that they might do it if they don't have customers, the franchise does offer curbside by the way. My boyfriend and I used to come here at least once a week for lunch, but have both agreed we are done with firehouse (or at least this location). When the old manager was here, the staff was great and sandwiches usually came out quick and delicious. Since this new management has taken over, they've gotten a complete turnover of staff, the wait for a sandwich is 20+ minutes, the quality is not the same, and the staff all look like they hate their job (morale must be horrendous- great management at work!). Not much else would matter if the food came out in a timely manner and correct, but sadly that is not the case. read more

Our lady at the counter was super nice. Very informative and let me try one of the sauces to make a decision on which sandwich. I chose the jerk sandwich and it was so good! The mustard really made it!! I was unaware of the name of the day moment !!! Example : if your name started with a P, you saved a bit on your sandwich/ meal. This location has got to be the worst. The place is a mess, tables are always dirty. Today the ice machine was out, but instead of putting a note on the door, they put one on the register. Three employees behind counter, one man standing at register being ignored, after a few minutes of standing, watching him, be ignored, I left. It's as if they do not care if they service you or not , too many other food places around to ignored , shame, Mgmt. must not care anymore, I will not be returning to this location. Horrible service. Wouldn't allow my children to add extras/toppings to their sandwiches. The manager - "Lily" was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. When I asked why weren't the kids allowed to add any toppings to their sandwiches, she replied "because I said so" and walked off. Came in to pick up a quick lunch to take to go. I only wanted the sandwich; no drink or chips. I ordered the hook & ladder, no tomatoes, no onions. The sandwich was good but not great. Enjoyed the sandwich, quality was good and service fast. My only complaint (ordered the steamer) is not enough meat on the sandwich, the ends of the bread, there was no meat. I ordered doordash here last week and asked to add grilled onions to my turkey bacon ranch. I received bread and grilled onions. That was it. Onions and bread. I was passing by and decided to give them one more shot because I love that sub. I stopped in and there was a sign saying short staffed so longer waits. I thought this was maybe the reason for my bread and onion mistake happened last week. So, I walked in to order and patiently waited as I was not in a rush. After 20 mins. We received someone else's meal and I handed the opened container to the other customer. I apologized. The guy called the wrong name. Mistakes happen. The lady was mad, but a mistake. I was waiting another 10 mins when they realized they messed something up with our order. I wait patiently again. When we received our order, they were the worst subs ever. They were all wrong. They were dry, missing ingredients and just nasty. The restaurant was not overwhelmed and did not appear to be slammed with customers. The staffing competence seem d to be an issue, not the short staffed they had posted on their front door. Corporate Management needs to find out what's going on at this location. You know how people sometimes say they ate a meal at a Chinese restaurant and were still hungry? That was my experience after dining tonight at my local Fire House Subs, which is most assuredly the last time I go to this establishment. Why do I feel this way you ask? Fair question. Here are several of my reasons. First, I ordered a steak and cheese sub and I have had many in my lifetime. I know what a steak and cheese par excellence tastes like and the Fire House version is dreadful. The meat is soggy (probably frozen and thawed) and tasteless. Two, the cheese was MIA for all intents and purposes. Third, a legitimate steak and cheese is served in a crisp roll, however the Firehouse rolls are flaccid. Lastly, I ordered a small sub, FH should classify small as microscopic. Three bites and voilla the sub is consumed. After considering my experience Fire House has earned a resounding two thumbs down. read more

I love this place. The service is always friendly and fast. The Resturant itself is cute. All the tables have spots on them and there is a ton of "firehouse" decorations. It's also a plus having two TVs to watch sports while you grub. The food is pretty yummy and affordable. They have a variety of menu options too! well we did the thing we know not to do. we made a return trip to this place again , despite knowing from our last visit that service was rapidly declining at this location. we went to the restaurant and got the usual, and now, expected, bad service. we were the only 3 in the restaurant, there were 3 people behind the counter... so we think we are ok... well that was just a stupid assumption on our part. 3 sandwiches, 3 customers, 3 employee... 20 minutes. perhaps it was because the 3 behind the counter were having the most ridiculous personal conversations ever, completely inappropriate , especially since they clearly could not work/ making a simple sandwich, and chat at the same time. it took so long that my son and hubby had to gobble theirs down, and i had to eat in the car because we had a baseball game to go to. so let this be a lesson reminded to us, because we already really knew the outcome ... dont bother with fast food. if you want a good sub sandwich, make it yourself if this is your only choice. read more

Ordered a sandwich, chips, and a drink to go, got all the way home and forgot to grab the chips and the sandwhich was wrong but receipt was correct. Tried calling 8 times, no answer. Drove back to give the sandwhich back and get a refund. At first he was only going to refund the sandwhich until I asked to refund the chips and drink. He refunded the chips and didn't want to refund the drink. I felt it was inappropriate to question a full refund when I had to drive all the way back to the store due to their error. I ended up receiving a refund for the three items but didn't get the tip money back. Which it is what it is but customer service here is awful. Employees don't really look like they want to be there. I got the "club on a sub" sandwich got home and was very disappointed bacon tasted raw, bread was soggy, and the mayonnaise overpowered the meats by a 2:1 ratio 3 bites and tossed it. Firehouse on FM1960 is 5 Stars, but this location is different than most other franchise locations. The subs here do taste different than other locations and seem to have less meat. PLEASE don't judge Firehouse if you have only been to this one - try a "real" FH location elsewhere because the subs are normally excellent! We started going to this location when we discovered it as we goto Firehouse every Sunday after Church. We decided to try this location one more time today and I'm sorry we did. They got my wife's order wrong, I didn't get a pickle with mine, we had to stand around and wait for ice (this is a consistent problem at this location), they were out of sweet tea & after bringing that to their attention they started making more, but never finished while we were there so I never got a drink (don't drink soda). Like usual, table selections limited due to dirty tables. Employees are friendly, but not getting the job done here. This was the last time we will visit this location - we would rather drive past this one and our house to frequent the FM1960/N Eldridge location. read more

Have ordered from this place many times and in the beginning subs were great and now the past 4 times I've placed orders they were incomplete leaving things out bread was barely toasted even after asking for extra toasted bring orders home ( 5 minutes away) to open up boxes with just a thrown together mess and all the bread being very soggy brought it to managers attention and they tell me well it happens with the take out but the reality is it shouldn't especially since there toasted on the last placed order I receive a call 5 minutes later and the guy on the phone says we decided to close early tonight to we're canceling your order and some time Monday we'll call you to refund your money So I receive a call at 4:00 pm while I'm still at work and couldn't answer the phone so I get out of work at 8pm and call them back just to be told there is no manager on duty at this time to refund your money so we'll call you tomorrow at some point when a manager arrives , the guy was rude and just hung up after saying what he had to say I do not recommend this establishment there service is terrible at best with a bunch of very rude young careless kids working there I hope the owner of this place reads this review and it upsets them as I will never eat at this crap hole again nor will any of my family This place is just another disappointment for cypress area restaurants read more

There's really little room for error in a franchise making sandwiches, so your experience really depends from the employees working there. My experience this afternoon was not great to say the least. There were more than five people in the restaurant but a sandwich maker named "Sam" specifically called out my table number to pick up over the counter instead of bringing my food over like everybody else's. Note that I was the only minority at the establishment. It's disappointing to see Firehouse subs allowing such employees to represent their brand and it honestly makes me question their stand in racism.
