Five guys burgers are some of the best in my opinion. I placed my order in advance for a double cheeseburger and large fries. The order was pricey at 26.00 but it was so so good. My order took longer than 10 mins which was a bummer but the food was very hot and fresh. I ate so many fries on the way home. At this point in my life, money is no object when you want to satisfy a specific hunger or thrist. YOLO is real and so if you have it and want it, go get i!. Therefore when my appetite desired a homemade burger and fries, Five Guys was the only place that could deliver on both. I hadn't eaten since 1:30 before a dental cleaning appointment at 4PM. After the appointment that ended at 5PM and a 30 minute flouride treatment and drive to check on my Mom before heading back to Houston, I knew my stomach would soon tell me to feed it, so I made up my mind to stop in Cypress and eat before it became too late. Even though the parking lot is a little dark at night, Five Guys shines bright like a diamond or like a beacon of light to draw you to palette paradise with the white walls surrounding the inside with an all glass store front. It was not very busy on a Thursday evening and I was greeted and assisted once the customer in front of me had completed their order. I asked about the difference in burgers. I may have been to FG once before so forgot that the bun size is the same but the Little has one patty. If I wanted to have serious itis when I got home, the double patty burg would have been great, but I felt a fullyloaded Little Bacon Cheeseburger had enough protein without the double patty. I was absolutely right because the brown bag that was handed to me with my small order of fresh fried fries was packing some weight! The wait was worth it which was around 10 minutes. As I opened my bag to my Five Guys Feast, I immediately noticed my Little Burger filled with all my choice veggies and condiment and grilled to perfection. The fries were also stellar as they were fresh and with my cajun seasoning on the side, I received the freshest of the fresh fries! I did a little experiment and poured the cajun seasoning in the ketchup. Not too spicy but just enough kick to it. Plus the size of the small fries come overloaded in your bag. Shareable if you desire, but too good to do so! The meal cost me a Jackson with a drink and tip included, but so worth it! The homemade taste without grocery shopping, prepping food, and washing dishes is a welcomed splurge, and the roasted peanuts are delicious! Decent size burger patties. If you're looking for smaller portions go for the little burger. The main selections provide two patties and very filling. Flavors are lacking but they make up for it with topping choices at no additional charge. The fries have a good balance of thickness and crunch with a dash of salt. However this one is gonna be a bit different as I won't be talking about their absolutely delicious juicy burgers that you can get everything you want on them except the kitchen sink (I think they actually have that on the menu)! Today I want to talk about the "Dog" They start with a big all beef dog and then they split that sucker right in half! And on the grill it goes where to be cooked to sheer dog perfection (insert universal sign off of food perfection here, if you are un aware of what this is... insert blank stare) once they've cooked your dog to your desired doneness... from just smack it around till warm all the way to charcoal briquette. They will dress it up with, once again with anything you want from plain Jane all the way to load that doggie up! And just like a burger, maybe more so,I am very picky about my "dogs" granted I've only been a handful of times, but every time I have gone, different location each time, it's always consistently Hot Dog Heaven! A great Sunday afternoon for family, football, and a great Burger. The parking was decent considering it was located near a busy area of Cypress, TX. The inside was clean; however, I noticed that one of the boxes of peanuts was expired according to the date displayed. But I managed to find a fresh batch of peanuts available. The staff was friendly, courteous, and the food was great!!! Just a heads up....the pricing is a little on the expensive side, but the quality of the food was spot on. The Bacon Cheeseburger was my choice and it was cooked perfectly. My goodness 100% beef and the Cajun styled fries were freshly cooked and not over seasoned. What a disappointment! I'm not difficult to please so my disappointment says a lot. First of all, my order was wrong. The bacon was left off of my burger, so when I asked for bacon, they gave me a plate of what looked like bacon. Actually, nothing was fresh. The burgers are indeed good. The fries, though, are so oily that even with a cast-iron stomach, I just feel like I'm abusing myself if I eat more than a couple. Pluses: good variety of condiments and garnishes, including some that are hard to find, like malt vinegar. I usually try not to go to this Five Guys because of my past experiences but of course I messed up my online order and placed it for this store instead of the one near the outlets. I placed my order at 7:35 PM and after getting mixed up with the different location I finally arrived to the correct one around 8. I hit im on my way on the app and then I'm here and when I arrived I still had to wait another 30 MINUTES for my food to me done. The reason i made an online order is for it to be done before I got there so i didn't have to wait. My food wasn't ready until 8:30. An ENTIRE HOUR after i placed the order. DON'T LET THE OTHER REVIEWS FOOL YALL!!Just came here yesterday because I was randomly craving a burger and then last minute decided to dine in and it was the best decision I've made in a while. I was nervous because they closed at 10 and I got there around 9:15 but nevertheless, the cook got my food out so quick and exactly how I ordered it. Service was so great as there was Ronnie looking out for me and my partner giving us recommendations about sauces, giving us a whole bag for our peanuts, and although I didn't catch the cooks name, he was so great and kind to us as well. I work not to far down 290 from here and I eat a fairly lean diet full of vegetables. I do love a burger though. If you need a burger they've got you covered. Go elsewhere, if you want something other than a burger and fries.. I'm not sure what about the name implied that there might be something other than beef here and the grilled cheese which they provide for meat loving parents of whiny children. If need be sit your child down and explain that's how it's going to be, please do so. To send this notion we're in Texas. I don't know if people missed the memo or what... I ordered a burger bowl. Once I got there I waited a little bit, not a big deal, and they were super nice saying sorry about the wait. No big. BUT, when I got back to work, my patty is ICE cold. I can't even imagine how this is possible. I can't heat it up cause it's in a metal tin. No mayo or ketchup, no utensils, and I asked for grilled jalapenos, and got fresh ones with ONE black grilled one that no one should ever it bc it was burnt soooooo bad. One of the best burgers I ever had! I ordered a cheeseburger and it was juicy, soft and well flavored. My Cajun fries were overly seasoned and really salty and spicy which I didn't like. My fries were a size regular and they gave me so much. It was enough for about 3 people. Really liked that they use peanut oil and fresh potatoes. But do they really sit there and peel the potatoes? This wouldn't be my typical spot of choice for dinning out. I stopped by once to try it out walked in and turned right back around after noticing the long line of waiting to get to the counter to place an order. If I'm out I'd rather be waited on than wait in a line. So my first visit was short I was in and out in about 5 mins. A few months later I made my way back because of a recommendation. This time I was prepared for the wait since I knew this is a walk to the counter and order type place. I place my order and had to modify my standard burger order. Their burger (with everything) also includes grilled onions and mushrooms along with the standard toppings. I ordered the bacon cheese burger with the standard toppings and added jalapenos. They have additional toppings available at no additional charge. I added an order of their fresh cut fries, since they made it difficult to resist knowing they weren't frozen. There is no need to request your food to dine in or take out. Your order will come in a bag wrapped up and ready for the trip home or you can pick a seat and unwrap that package of awesomeness if you choose to. My order is in and now I wait for my lucky number to be called. The open kitchen set up is a plus for me because it allows you a full view of the kitchen and how your food is being cooked. It is good to know your food isn't being prepared by kiddos goofing off and playing around your food like you get at your typical fast food spot. My number is called and I go back to the front counter grab my conveniently packed lunch and head home. If I didn't already know because of the recommendation I would of been very surprised that their standard burger has two patties. I struggled with that burger but it was delicious with all the fixings plus fries. All the veggies were fresh their meat patties aren't frozen and can't forget the delish fresh-cut fries. Stopped here on the way home from Houston last night for a burger and fries. (Amazing how the name tells you what's on the menu, right?) The burger was excellent and I love their variety of free toppings. A bacon cheeseburger with mushrooms and A-1 sauce really hit the spot. Their iced tea is also good, with plenty of fresh lemon slices. There were two minor things which held me back from a five star review for the Five Guys. First, the Cajun fries were good, but the seasoning just got overpowering. Second, I know they cook their burgers to order, but the wait seemed longer than most other burger places I've stopped at, including other Five Guys locations. It's a fairly boring burger joint with free peanuts and a customizable burger menu. The Cajun fries were about the only thing I felt was authentic in my meal and I know those were your standard frozen version with some "secret" spices thrown on for flare. Basics are definitely good. Where else can you get a 1/2 lb cheeseburger for $5.19? The produce was fresh and you get to choose unlimited toppings from a list of over a dozen. The husband got a cheeseburger with grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup, lettuce, tomato all for $5.19. If you were to get the same at Fuddruckers, I'm sure it'd be at least $8 with their frozen patties. For hamburgers/cheeseburgers, you have the option of getting the "little" which is only 1 patty rounding out to to 1/4 a lb. Those are a whopping $3.99 and also with your choice of toppings. I had the cheese dog. It's a split hot dog with a slab of american cheddar tossed on a bun. You also get to choose your toppings for the hot dog. How can you go wrong with that at less than $4? The fries are fresh cut and freshly fried. The board on the wall tells you where your potatoes are from for the day. You have your option of getting regular or cajun seasoning. We had the "regular" size of the cajun seasoning which is enough for 2 people. The fries were good and I went home with the lingering spicy after taste of the cajun seasoning. This place reminded me of In-N-Out but with less frills. You can watch them grill your burger too if you like. Sometimes less options are good and in this case it was definitely good. My only complaint was that they had someone walking around to see if you needed any refills. The guy didn't even acknowledge us because we had water cups. read more

For vegetarians, they have a veggie sandwich. The sandwich was good, but feels like it's missing something. I wish they had a veggie burger. No veggie burgers or veggie patties here. TIP: Remember to add condiments to your burger at no charge. We didn't realize the veggie sandwich doesn't come with them. Thankfully our orders were made to go, so we added some ketchup at home. I wish I could give this place negative stars. I ordered delivery and was missing part of my order- no big deal; I called to have it fixed. After a long discussion and being told that the restaurant couldn't do anything for me, other than give me a coupon to the restaurant, they called back with a solution.
