My wife wanted me to pick up some chicken fingers and a root beer float from DQ. I ordered through the drive through, but they were out of root beer. So I ordered her a coke float with chocolate ice cream which they said they did not have. I paid for the order and even though there were no cars waiting behind me, the told me to drive to pickup space 1. I was wary because my previous experience there was that it took a long time for them to bring out an order. Sure enough, after 17 minutes, I went inside and asked for my money back. A guy told me someone is taking your order out now and point to space 1. No one was taking an order out. All of a sudden a bag appeared in his hand and he said, look I have your order it is ready. I said no I want my money back for his terrible service. They did get one more car through the drive through while I was waiting. When I did go in to get my money back, there were no customers inside. All of the employees were just standing around talking. I will not go back. read more

What is wrong? Did you run out of chocolate sauce? This is twice within 8 days of a screwed up banana split. The first time it was just strawberry, pineapple and an unripe banana. I have visited this DQ twice recently for lunch. They currently have a Hunger Buster special of a dressed quarter pound burger with fries, drink and an ice cream dessert for about $6.50. My burger was big and filling. Well dressed with lettuce, tomato, etc. I enjoyed it. The fries are standard frozen out of a bag but not bad. The dessert options are either a Dilly Bar, Ice Cream Sandwich or a chocolate dipped ice cream cone. How can you go wrong? The restaurant is clean inside with plenty of parking available. Sad to see this place has so many bad reviews. I live very close to this DQ, but I hardly ever go. I don't really eat hamburgers too often and I cook at home a lot so it has to be something I'm really craving. For the whole day since 5 am I was craving a banana split. My partner and I drove on down and saw maybe 4 other cars. We thought our order would take quite a while because it was 2 banana splits and their new cheesy steak tenders. It was surprisingly fast! We were so surprised. I couldn't wait to go home and eat our splits so we parked and watched Netflix in the car and enjoyed them. I will say the steak tenders were okay. Nothing to write home about. I think it's because they were a little on the salty side, but the Monterey Jack Cheese in them was good!! One of my favorite fast foods of all time is the steak fingers of DQ. I was in the area and stopped in this location for a quick lunch. I ordered the 6 pieces steak fingers meal which came with fries, white gravy, toast, and a drink. The fingers and fries were fried perfectly, crunchy and not oily. Toast was buttery and gravy had just the right amount of saltiness. Nothing I ate was healthy, but it was surely satisfying for my hunger. The entire staff was cheerful and friendly. Bathroom was clean. The only disappointment of this location was the lack of Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi being not offered. Zero Coke was on tap but it was out of the syrup. So I had to go with the unsweetened tea which was fresh tasting and strong, very good. Plenty of parking spaces were available. read more

DQ's desserts are always top notch! However, this review is about the Chicken n Dumplings. If you're gonna sell Chicken n Dumplings please make sure it's legit! The texture was very very clumpy like gravy mixed with potatoes and there was not enough chicken. The flavor was ok and the dumplings were good. Chicken n Dumplings is one of my childhood favorites that grandma used to cook. This was not close to hers. Everyone at this location is super friendly but I'm never satisfied with my order. I always order a small Oreo cookie blizzard with extra Oreos. I order extra because they are stingy with the amount of cookies they put in there and it always tastes like vanilla ice cream. Even with adding extra it's never enough so I started getting the extra on the side. Problem solved! Last night I decided to get one of my old favorites. The Turtle Pecan Cluster. When you see pictures on the menu you can see chunks of chocolate and pecans. In mine, i saw a few at the top but the bottom was completely vanilla. I have been patronizing Dairy Queen for years. It is a hit and miss. However, this past Saturday night, it cost me more than the $7.13 Blizzard. The guy who handed me the Blizzard was so excited he was able to turn it upside down without falling out of the cup. That's all fine and Dandy but it was overflowing with liquid. I thought it was a slight Overfill. However upon using napkins to wipe it off, discovered the entire cup was drenched in liquid even the bottom. There was another guy standing there who witnessed the improperly prepared Blizzard. He was wearing a red shirt which denotes a team lead or part of Management. He didn't say a thing even though anyone in leadership should have prevented it from being served to a customer. It was visibly not prepared properly. I decided to Park and go inside to give them back the leaky Blizzard. They politely made another one. This effort didn't help the liquid had drizzled inside my car and splattered on my coat. I don't mind wiping the liquid off of the hard surfaces. However, my coat will need to be dry cleaned. The last time, I was served peanuts instead of pecans in my Blizzard. They argued it was pecans. There is definitely a difference between pecans and peanuts. The time before was served a cold Hamburger Party. I AM DONE WITH THIS LOCATION! Other customers were also frustrated with the constant mistakes of their orders. The senior female decided to verbally correct the newer females mistakes in front of everyone which is unprofessional. It failed miserably, the food was not fresh and the fries were cold 2 mins after I drive off. Th soda was flat as well. I will not be coming backs. I'm adding some pictures to show how small the burger was. Half the burger was only the size of 1 ketchup pack. Even a pocket lip balm was linger than to burger itself. WoW, for a company that advertises the "people love us on yelp" sticker, I was completely taken aback by the condescending women who I dealt with in the drive thru. I ordered a blizzard and asked for no strawberry filling. When I got to the window, she handed me the opposite. When I let her know that it was incorrect she began to chastise me and tell me how I don't need to order a royal cheesecake blizzard if I don't want it that way. The service is so terrible here. I have to mentally prepare myself to go here when we want ice cream because there's always a girl with an attitude there at the window. Don't go during a shift change, they'll have you sitting at the window for 15 mins while they change and don't say anything to you. Or Blame you for them getting your order wrong.
