Stopped by during their soft opening and ordered the 20 piece family meal. Love love love their mango habanero wings and the peanut butter. Wings are crispy yet not dry. Juicy and tender. Oh and fries are delish too. Will def go back any time I'm in the Downey area. read more

So many flavors to choose from! 7 different flavors of classics, dry rubs, and fusions! My favorites are Saigon Street (Vietnamese Nuoc Mam), Garlic Parmesan (My #1 go to), and Salt & Pepper (Another Asian classic). Reasonably prices meals. I always leave feeling stuffed. I always get the bone in wings, which are always freshly crispy and flavorful. As well as a side of fries, I'm not usually a sweet potato fries gal, but I actually prefer that one over the regular seasoned fries. And a mix your own flavors soda machine! Tons of seatings for small and large groups, and TVs! read more

Really good wings. Great prices on beer and the food. Service is great as well. Will definitely come back.

- If I ordered food I would have to eat out side (time was 9pm ) - they were only offering wings (it was 9 pm) - if I ordered what ever they were offering it would be a 25min wait because they were backed up and I couldn't drink my drinks inside while I wait . There was a whole hour and a half of business availability and I didn't feel welcome at all how to take my business elsewhere. I really do think about employees and don't show up anything less than 40 minutes of dinning time and this place didn't want anybody coming in after hours, I'm sorry during business hours an hour and a half of open business time . I have 4 years of working in restaurants and you always work past close its a pain but the food Industry is what it is . Workers are taking your business fire wings . read more

Nightmare TRASH IT WAS SO BAD I'm here leaving a review I ordered to go & when I arrived (10 min drive by the way) wings were not only cold but I took 1 bite & my tooth has been hurting ever since the wings I received we're definitely not fresh & I assume they triple refried them they were so crunchy every bite hurt I could not bite into them they went straight to the trash flavor was also not there. waste of my money will never go back. & to top it off they asked me for a tip? I was shocked I never been here nor was I dining in so I didn't understand that. P.S...I don't need an auto reply from a person pretending to be manager or employee apologizing about the experience or defending their establishment in some way, don't apologize under this post DO BETTER! read more

The food was delicious, and the staff provided great customer service. The ambiance was perfect with multiple tv's located throughout the restaurant. read more

Need to fix there hours online it's wrong drove 2 hrs for them to be closed!!!!!!!!!!!

Food was very dry and subpar. There's really nothing to say. 0/10 do not waste your money. Wingstop exists.

I absolutely love wings and this place was so disappointing. The wings were chewy and not cooked well, I will not be returning to this place. read more

No pun intended, but the food here is fire. Try the chili cheese tots... to die for. Nashville fries give you a country feel, you can choose the level of spice (1-4). In my opinion, the buffalo tender fries are even better. Will be coming back for more. read more

Cold wings, the guy with the backwards hat would not let me change my order or atleast fix the issue. Horrible attitude. Good location tho

As much as I came here before..I will never come back again...all empty tables that were open were dirty.and when I asked if they can wipe it down so we can sit down ..she got mad and was rude...than I received my food with hair in it!!!!when we told them about it..all they did was take the hair out and put the same wings in a different lil plate... This is very unprofessional and disgusting..I'm very disappointed in this service I received.. read more

First time trying this place and service was bad. Business wasn't that busy and food took very long to arrive to our table and when it did it was the wrong order. When we finally got our food, we were still missing my moms chicken teriyaki bowl. The bowl never arrived. We asked for a refund, cashier had to call the manager and ask for him/her to take care of the refund. They advice we would see the refund in 10-15 minutes and we never did. Had to go back to the restaurant to claim my refund. They told me in 7 business days I would see it. My mom never ate. read more

Fire Wings - Register - Chicken Wings Near Me - Downey, California

Came here on a Friday night to watch Laker game. It's a great place to go if you want to catch a sports game and eat some good food! Believe it or not I tried the peanut butter wings and they were really good. If you ever had Thai chicken satay, it's similar to that taste. I would recommend giving it a try if you want something different. Other than that they have great soju selections, which I thought was awesome! I believe they have specials on that too during the week! read more

Decided to try out this new spot in Downey around 2pm. Not much line so it wasn't too crowded, probably since we went early in the day. Tables were clean and great lighting. Not sure why the doors were open since it was pretty cold outside, so we had to sit towards the back of the restaurant. Great prices considering the portions which are pretty big. The Buffalo Fries are solid, the Buffalo sauce was just a bit too strong for me personally , but it wasn't spicy. Now since I'm mentioning the garlic noodles, I will say it was absolutely delicious. They are a must try if you come here ! read more

I been coming to this place since it opened... the wings I've never had a problem with.....but the Nashville tender fries you guys always cheap out. One day they're good.... Next visit they are only seasoned on top. I only got 3 pieces seasoned the rest were just fried chicken. Can you guys get on this?? read more

I order a Cesar Salad to go and all I got was lettuce?! What kind of service is that?!?!

I have been a regular here for 3 months from every week to every other week, even twice in a week. But todays wings were definitely worse. We are used to the awful service from workers when we dine in and pickup but usually it's the quality of wings we go back for. I ordered my lemon pepper and garlic fries bone in extra seasoning they were extra fried and naked. They were disgusting had a kind of bitter aftertaste I never had an ick for chicken until after these wings. Don't eat or purchase from here just go to wing stop or get boneless and doublecheck before leaving this place even a taste test because these were disgusting. read more

I had an amazing experience today at my late lunch early dinner at Firewings Downey. With so many options at the promenade in Downey, you can never go wrong with a restaurant that specializes in chicken; chicken wings, chicken sandwiches, buffalo style and they have a huge variety of beer that the other venues don't have. I was helped by a gentleman that was wearing glasses, and at first I didn't know who this person was because they are wearing casual clothes that do not match any of the uniforms that the staff is wearing. After ordering, the gentleman introduced himself as the manager. The food was very tasty. I got the chicken sandwich with an assortment of sides that the manager recommended, and overall with my experience from him talking to me, introducing me to some of the products, giving me a beer selection that pairs best with the food I ordered was above and beyond to me. Overall, the customer service was on point, I exceptionally liked the manager, how he took out of his time to go over the beer selection, and what he felt that I would like based off of the small conversation we had. The food quality the taste the portion everything was perfect.. The store itself was super clean. Every single window didn't have a streak on it. The staff members were nice and friendly. this definitely is a place that I will be coming back very soon. Thank you fire wings restaurant in Downey thank you to the staff. Thank you for an overall great experience and I will return. read more

I usually love the Brea fire wings because of the garlic fries. However at this location the fries were soggy and had no seasoning. There was no garlic it was just sprinkled cheese on it. I recommend the fires wings in Brea as the fries are better. The Thai and dragon are amazing flavors and were still great. The fires made a huge difference for me so hence the 3 stars. The chicken itself is great read more

Them garlic parm wings extra well done was bussin the bbq mid I'd go back and try more flavors.

First time here, and it was awesome! The wings were flavored very well and cooked very well also. They have so many flavors hard to pick what flavor you want. Will come back soon. read more

I love their wings and mozzarella sticks! Their food lives up to their name and then some. The ambiance is super inviting and welcoming just like their staff and friendly service. Love this place! read more

This place has a lot of potential but the employees aren't helping. The food is great the location is perfect however the wait time is incredibly long. We've been there before and after the movies and the restaurant is always dirty but the employees are happily in the back talking or on their phones. Hard to believe they follow any proper food handling procedures maybe that's what makes the food great lol read more

I order 3pc chicken tenders (not beyond). I got processed, perfectly formed nuggets. I asked if I was accidentally sent beyond tenders and the cook behind the counter said they're real chicken. I talk to the "supervisor", who said it's chicken. Minutes later this supervisor is mopping the floor with smelly water. I asked to verify if this is mechanically separated chicken. He replied that he did not know. 20$ for 3 nuggets is not right. Five people and no one offered to supplement or refund. I picked up after my table, but left my sad nuggets and my plastic ware sideways. read more

Thought I'd give this new Place a try,but was Kinda dissappointed @ this place. Wings Tasted rubbery and my buffalo Sauce was Super Salty with lots of oil. Made me feel sick. Fire wings, just not fire service. The girl gave attitude I'm assuming because I didn't tell her what sauce I wanted with my order right away. She didn't even respond after I said thank you twice (I thought maybe she didn't hear the first one). I was sat next to her friend who she was sure to be nice to and offered to refill his drink and made a weird comment to after she dropped off my food. The guy working with her also didn't seem to be in a great mood and let it show. And the third guy didn't seem helpful in terms of stepping in when it got busy and the girl was clearly overwhelmed by the amount of people she had to attend to. Management definitely needs to step in. read more

Don't order off door dash!!! Came in when they said it would be ready, and they told me it would take an extra 10 minutes. It ended up taking them another 40 minutes to get my food. Terrible and annoying! read more

let me start with, the wings are over fried. Standard for wings I assume. But they could really pick up their business If the ladies who work there would be friendlier, susceptible to catering to the customer i.e. when I asked the girl who worked there if the place had Wi-Fi she looked at me for a second and said, I don't know if we have Wi-Fi and if we do, I don't have a password and she turned around and walked away with attitude. I love giving small business, the opportunity to court my business, since I'm spending money at that location. This is just constructive criticism and hopefully the owner reads this post and is able to create a better customer based business model. It's a restaurant, very competitive, when you have to consider there are better wing options near by. Food: read more

The wings were really good, but whoever was on aux and in charge of the music SUCKS! They wouldn't let one song end and it was really annoying because the music is SO loud! The only girl working the night shift had HORRIBLE customer service lol! Great food bad service, bad music! read more

Sorry about your very disorganized grand opening. I came last week and ordered. Cashier billed wrong and the wings were way over cooked. The owner was seating with his buddy on the bar like it was all under control. The music was crazy loud and just random boring music he was playing with his tablet after the football game. Fast forward to today my son came in with a buy one get one free coupon and I check his bank account they charged him almost $30 bucks for his two orders. How crazy is that if it's buy one get one free. I walk in to check why they billed so much and she didn't apply the coupon because she didn't see it she said. So then she says she fixed it and because it was buy one combo get one combo free she never gave my son his drinks and we drove away. He's only 14 and they still don't get it right for someone who is new to being a customer. So now we'll wait for his checking account to settle to see if they really did refund him the difference. But you people owe us 2 drinks. I don't think I'll ever return. Two bad experiences back to back. read more
