This used to be the spot for FRESH cooked Chili Cheese Fries. I ordered a large and asked for extra crispy fries, It was not fresh AT ALL, You can tell the fries are old and very soggy. Stopped at this place late at night bc it was the only place that was open, and I'm pleasantly surprised! The menu is sooo large which is overwhelming but I appreciate all the options! My friend got the avocado burger and said it was great! I got the steak burrito and it was HUGE. The portions here are very hefty so share with friends! I had a disappointing experience at Tam's on Alondra Blvd. I ordered a large chili cheese fries, and when my order was called, I politely asked for three bags of yellow peppers. The employee only handed me two. I reminded her that I had asked for three, and instead of simply giving me the extra bag, she rolled her eyes and handed it to me with a bad attitude. Asking for one additional bag of peppers with a large order shouldn't be an issue, and customers shouldn't be made to feel like they're inconveniencing the staff. Good customer service is about treating people with respect, even over small requests. Tried the chicken tender dinner plate. It's a pretty large portion of chicken tenders, salad, French fries and a slice of bread. Went through the drive thru and it was fast service. Nobody was there ordering food. Chicken tenders were good considering it was fast food. I could only eat about half of it and saved the rest for lunch. Oh and it came with two union rings. read more

I came here pretty often, they have arguably the best burgers around the area. The burger combos are still fairly priced and what I like is that they haven't fallen behind on quality. Their fries are still nicely seasoned, an issue I have with other burger places if their bland frozen fries. The services is pretty fast considered its always packed. Tams - today, my husband picked up a grilled chicken dinner. I took a bite into the chicken and instantly knew something was off. To my dismay, it was extremely pink inside and cold. I called in, was put on hold, and finally, a lady took my call. I asked her if I could speak to a manager because the chicken dinner my husband just picked up through the drive thru is raw. She said Jimmy is not in, but I could pick up a new meal today or tomorrow. I let her know that I was already cooking it and was truly not interested in another meal. I suggested she please let the cooks know their chicken isn't being fully cooked. She told me, "It's already cooked!" And it was apparent to me that she just wanted to get me off the phone. I responded in a stern tone and said, "Well, the one I have isn't. People can get very sick from this and you need to do something." That was it. This is NOT acceptable. I appreciate the offer of a new meal, but we aren't interested in driving back. We purposely went to Tam's for a quick meal due to time constraints. I truly wish she would have taken the time to reassure me that this would be addressed immediately. It's disappointing to know the people working there do not care about their customers eating a safe meal. It's very busy here. Make sure to ask the cashier to repeat your order because you might get the wrong thing. I told the cashier I wanted a chili cheese dog but she took down chili cheese fries. It wasn't until I got home and looked in the bag that I got the wrong thing. So I had to go back and they were nice enough to take it back and give me my chili cheese dog. I think I might've gotten sick from the food. I also ordered onion rings too bc it's so bomb. You can either order thru drive thru or walk inside to order. The drive thru lines suck because they are usually in the street but like I said, they are pretty quick so I usually wait patiently like the person in front & behind. The one thing that always makes me crazy is when you get to the guy that takes your order, he has no menu so u should look up what you want before you get to him. It's no 5 star restaurant so don't expect 5 star service. You seat yourself if you go inside (it's not big, by any means). They always greet the customers. Tams crews work hard. The fries were hard and fried at least twice and the patty in our hamburger tasted like old grease from a breakfast sausage that they made previously. Probably the worst fast food I've ever had. Seems prices have went up a bit just like most places, but I was still happy with my double cheeseburger and onion rings. I feel like their ranch dressing downgraded but still good. Service was as best it could be for the lunch rush, but the employee taking orders on the street helps push the drive thru.
