The best breakfast burritos and pastrami sandwiches in town! My go-to for breakfast is the burrito with all three meats because... why not? It's huge, filling, and never disappoints. For lunch or dinner, I always go for the pastrami combo with half zucchini and half fries. The portion sizes at Tam's are HUGE! Yes, the prices can be a little high, but honestly, just about everywhere is expensive these days. At least here, I really appreciate that the portions are big enough that I almost always have leftovers for a second meal. If you have an air fryer, those leftovers heat up pretty well the next day. Of course, it'll never be quite as good as Day 1, but for those of us trying to stretch our dollars, it definitely works! My only complaint--and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5--is that I really wish they offered delivery through Uber Eats, Postmates, DoorDash, or another delivery service. I'll admit that I probably shouldn't have ordered a chicken sandwich from a burger spot but I've done it before at other locations and have enjoyed it. Now the food was fresh and hot but there was major issues, the first being the sandwich had to be put back together because they didn't wrap it correctly, the chicken was not seasoned, it was brutally BLAND! The fries were hot but over seasoned, I love seasoning salt just like the rest of us but they were coated in it. My man ordered a shake and it was so sweet that he used the fries to balance it out. This used to be the spot for FRESH cooked Chili Cheese Fries. I ordered a large and asked for extra crispy fries, It was not fresh AT ALL, You can tell the fries are old and very soggy. I had a disappointing experience at Tam's on Alondra Blvd. I ordered a large chili cheese fries, and when my order was called, I politely asked for three bags of yellow peppers. The employee only handed me two. I reminded her that I had asked for three, and instead of simply giving me the extra bag, she rolled her eyes and handed it to me with a bad attitude. Asking for one additional bag of peppers with a large order shouldn't be an issue, and customers shouldn't be made to feel like they're inconveniencing the staff. Good customer service is about treating people with respect, even over small requests. Tams - today, my husband picked up a grilled chicken dinner. I took a bite into the chicken and instantly knew something was off. To my dismay, it was extremely pink inside and cold. I called in, was put on hold, and finally, a lady took my call. I asked her if I could speak to a manager because the chicken dinner my husband just picked up through the drive thru is raw. She said Jimmy is not in, but I could pick up a new meal today or tomorrow. I let her know that I was already cooking it and was truly not interested in another meal. I suggested she please let the cooks know their chicken isn't being fully cooked. She told me, "It's already cooked!" And it was apparent to me that she just wanted to get me off the phone. I responded in a stern tone and said, "Well, the one I have isn't. People can get very sick from this and you need to do something." That was it. This is NOT acceptable. I appreciate the offer of a new meal, but we aren't interested in driving back. We purposely went to Tam's for a quick meal due to time constraints. I truly wish she would have taken the time to reassure me that this would be addressed immediately.
