Drive through
Agustin R.

1st time trying this place and let's just say I won't ever be coming back the burgers were dry and burnt and smaller then a sausage McMuffin that's crazy and the chili cheese fries were not that good also the chili had decent flavor but I don't no why they put big chunks of tomatoes that's the 1st i ever had them like this and not to mention it's really pricey i got the chili fries a cheese burger special and a extra burger and it was $45 that's crazy

Bug, gnat, dirty
Kenia C.

I just went drive thru and I noticed a black spot inside the lid of the drink and realized it's a bug!!!! Gross, I called because I am obviously not returning for a drink, the male that answered just said in a satyric manner, "sorry, I didn't put it in on purpose, but I can replace the drink." What kind of response is that? So rude!!! Stay away from this place!

Cheese Hamburger Combo with drink
Joyce A.

This small restaurant has been in business for over 30 years! I've always enjoyed the cheeseburger combo - a single patty between two bun halves plus fries and a drink always satisfied my craving. The fries here are done so well and the seasoning they sprinkle on top is like crack, lol. I usually will eat all my fries first then peel off the buns to eat the burger by itself. Good place for breakfast combo : my mom got the pancakes, eggs and bacon. She ate almost all of it. Today the lady at the counter was very courteous and helpful. I needed help with taking the food to table and she did it without prompting. She even brought us waters when I asked for it. Woefully customer service at most other places has gone way south since Covid lockdowns. Having her do this was really unexpected and appreciated. Three stars for food, one extra star because of the extra effort.

Price increase.

I've always been a strong supporter of local business. This place is up the street from me and I regularly would pick up a chorizo breakfast burrito. Well now I won't be able to do that any longer. I went to grab a burrito only to be slapped with a $14.64 bill. Up from 12.12 just a few weeks ago. See attached receipts. This also included credit card fees which is ridiculous as well. My weekly pleasure will now be, maybe, a monthly pleasure and will have to make my own burritos at home moving forward. Customers should not have to bear the burden of the cost of having a business. Love, disappointed customer.

We came all the way from Santa Clarita and we're not disappointed. Past all the namebrand places by the aquarium and came here and we're not disappointed. I had the work burger, which has fried portobello mushrooms. Others in our group had grilled cheese and poutine burger, and Italian burger and the hotdog and the breakfast burritos. No one was disappointed actually, we were surprisingly pleased with our selections. Sleeper items are the fried cheese curds by themselves. Make sure you get these. Also the onion rings are batter dipped. And beyond delicious! Only bummer is the drinks are cans, so if you need more than one drink, be prepared to pay for each can. The food was super delicious!!

We stopped by here because it was late and they were still open. Another reason I wanted to try it…read morewas because they served poutine, and I'm always on the lookout for places that offer it. It was really loud during our visit. I'm not sure if it's always that lively on Friday nights, but it was the weekend of Warped Tour, so there was a lot of music and energy. If you're looking for a quieter meal, this may not be the best night to visit. The food itself was good, but the wait was much longer than expected. We waited almost 40 minutes for our order. Unfortunately, my burger was also made incorrectly. I ordered the Bacon Bleu Burger but was served a different burger instead. Not quite sure what it was, but it had mushrooms and American cheese. Since we had already waited so long, I decided to just eat it rather than send it back. The burgers were flavorful, but they were smaller than I expected for the price, and they don't come with fries. To round out my meal, I ordered the poutine fries. They were decent. The fries were nice and crispy, which I appreciated. My husband ordered the Burger Don Chendo, and that ended up being the standout of the night. I usually don't like spicy food, but this burger had just the right amount of heat without being overwhelming. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but between the long wait, the incorrect order, and the portion size for the price, the experience was a bit hit-or-miss. I'd be willing to give them another try, especially for the Don Chendo burger, but I'm hoping for a smoother experience next time.

I've traveled around and tried a lot of burger joints. It's honestly hard to fuck up a burger, but it's also hard to make one truly memorable. The Win-Dow captures exactly what an LA burger should be: quick, simple, delicious, and affordable. Now they have locations throughout Southern California, including this one in Long Beach--which I especially like because it isn't surrounded by hundreds of hipsters. It's in one of my favorite parts of Long Beach, where you still get those laid-back beach-town vibes. The staff is usually pretty straightforward. Smiling must be considered an "ick" nowadays, but no worries--I'm here for the burgers. There's a chill little area outside the pickup window where you can eat, or you can drive a few blocks to the beach and enjoy it there. For the quality, simplicity, and price, The Win-Dow is genuinely one of my favorite burger joints. When you consider everything--not just the burger itself, but the experience and value--this could possibly be the best burger in LA.

I've only ever been to The Ordinarie for their holiday pop up events (Miracle and The Haunting),…read morebut have enjoyed myself thoroughly every time. Miracle is an amazing Christmas themed pop up with so many lights and decorations that it will dazzle your eyes. Think Christmas on crack from floor to ceiling in every space imaginable. Their holiday menu is pretty well rounded. I've had the burger and beet salad with grilled chicken before which are both excellent tasting. The holiday drinks are always really delicious and capture the essence of the holidays. The snowball old fashioned is my favorite every year. The ice is shaped into a snowball. This past weekend I attended The Haunting which is new this year. It was sooo fun. It's like Miracle but for everything Halloween related. Life sized ghouls and goblins with Halloween lights and decorations everywhere. The food menu seems to have similar items from Miracle but this year I tried the Chicken Pot Pie bites and they were really great tasting and had savory seasonings with a shallow gravy in the skillet. My only qualm with them is that they were not hot enough, just luke warm. We also tried the Hatch Chile Mac n Cheese, it was really good with a mild chile flavoring and not spicy but packed with flavor. If it's past 10pm they have a late night bites menu which is limited but gets you some tasty bites. The themed drinks were fun and came in a baby doll head, a cauldron, a clown face and other drinkware. The Liquid Lobotomy served in the baby doll head was my favorite because I love falernum rum drinks. The Poison Apple was another drink favorite and was old fashioned like. We ordered the pumpkin shots and were disappointed that they did not come in the take home shot glasses; they were out so they discounted the shots and our server Lucille said she told us but she didn't. These shots tasted great and I don't usually do shots. My friends and I all tried each other's drinks to see what we liked best and wanted to try next; they were all excellent tasting and it's fun to see how the drinks come together. Sometimes I'm reading the ingredients in a drink and I'm like how would these items come together and taste good, but they do. The bartenders are amazing at their craft. They don't take reservations past 4pm so it's first come first served. It was a Saturday night and the line was super long; we got it line around 8:20pm and got seated at 9:54pm. It's a timed experience just like Miracle and you get 90 minutes which is enough time for the full experience.

A group of ladies went to celebrate a birthday at their Halloween pop up…read more Making the reservation was a problem because apparently 8 people are too many? We asked ahead for one of our guests to bring a very nice bottle of champagne. The waitress initially refused because the manager did not communicate that he had approved it. Then she opened it clumsily and it shot all over like a winning locker room. It is a $60 bottle and we agreed to a $20 corkage. She then used all the napkins on the table to clean up the spill and had to be asked repeatedly to bring more napkins. We were refused a different glass for a Tagled Web cocktail (Cloyingly sweet) so we could add ice so I ordered a glass of ice. There is more to that but waitress was trying very hard. Just following orders. It really feels like a management and training issue. Ordered a hamburger, asked for no pickles and cheddar instead of american. Ordered a Caesar salad too and waitress said I could get that with the burger instead of a house salad. Neither of those things happened. Delivered with american cheese, pickles and a house salad that was bagged mixed greens and dressing. No tomatoes or cucumber or anything. Not Caesar. Waitress said she would fix the salad. That never happened. Everything I tried was pedestrian at best. Really disappointing. Usually we get happy about great food and cocktails but not a single photo was taken of the food or drinks and the conversation was about where we were going after and how "no substitutions" and apparently no ice is an unwritten rule at this establishment. We ordered the chicken pop pie bites and they were problematic at best. Super disappointing. I was looking forward to those the most. I don't think they know what a chicken pop pie tastes like. Or chicken gravy either. Sysco foods? (Many of us were in hospitality so we know) A guest had the French dip and there was literally only meat on one side. She asked for horseradish and she was almost done when it arrived. They have kitchen problems for sure. They need an experienced expediter. Then they had a time limit for our table. After all the mistakes in both service and food, they were rushing us out while we were settling the bill. Then said only 2 CCs (we had 3 for 8 people) so we had to Zelle each-other. Such a hassle. We spent a ridiculous amount of money for a very marginal, sub par experience. The food was really quite poor and the server may have been new or poorly trained. Won't be back. I did purchase the doll head separately but seriously over priced.

I listened to orders being placed as she continuously greeted customers. At one time I did hear a couple of customers order a dinner and I heard her ask if they wanted fries, salad or half of each. Their online menu does not indicate the sides available. It was at this time, 9 minutes later hung up. I tried to call back and the line was obviously busy. I placed my order online for burgers and fries and drove to pick my order up. It's not what I wanted but I knew what I was getting. When I arrived at the restaurant i asked her name. She said, Kate. I explained what happened and she indicated she forgot about the call. I told her good customer service would have been for her to come back to the phone if even to say, I hadn't forgot about you and will be with you shortly. She admitted I hadn't forgot a valid point. I ordered 2 burgers, a double cheeseburger and a bacon cheeseburger both with fries. To make matters worse the cheese was not even melted on the burger. Just a cold slice of cheese on both burgers. I had bit into the burger before realizing the cheese was cold and not melted or soft. I'm going to give Poly Burgers a rest. Today's experience was frustrating.
