Loved this spot! I got a single smash burger and my dad got a spam, egg, and cheese burger. It was great and the buns were soft. Service was quick too and they have a few chairs in front of their stall to sit at if you can't find seating at the other tables around. I wanna come back and try their ube sliders!
Yo, this is fusion done right. Smash Burgers + Filipino flavors. I wasnt sure how it would work out since Pandesal can be a bit dry by itself. But they sauce up their burgers nicely, leaving you wanting to take another bite. I had the Single with a an order of the Oanda fries with an egg on top for the chefs kiss. Staff was super nice and helpful, took the time to explain the menu. Def looking forward to trying out the longaniza and corned beeg egg & cheese breaky sandos. Panda Sal's is located in the Steel Craft food garden in Bellflower. FYI not all the Steel Crafts have the same vendor lineup. They have adjacent public parking, usually not that bad on weekdays, not sure about the weekend.
Had previously tried Panda Sal's double smash burger and curly fries and thought it was good. Came back yesterday for the Argentina game and ordered the Panda style fries and was completely blown away by how delicious they were! I asked for ranch on the side, but no extra side sauce is necessary! I shared and was still stuffed after. The ambiance for the game was such a thrill of a vibe. Thankfully service has always been top tier! Thank you guys. If you don't know what to get, get the loaded fries!!
I tried the ube sliders, curly fries, and Panda fries with corned beef. I ordered everything to go and was surprised that the sliders were individually wrapped. I thought that was a really nice touch. Each order came with three sliders, and they were actually a good size. I got full after eating two. The burger itself was very tasty. I know pandesal bread is supposed to be a bit thicker, but I personally wish it had been softer and a little more dense, more like a regular hamburger bun. The curly fries were good and stayed crispy even by the time I ate them. The Panda fries were tasty too, but a little on the salty side. The corned beef came in a patty form, which made it harder to spread throughout the fries. Overall everything was delicious, but it did feel pretty heavy after eating. The restaurant is a stand inside SteelCraft, so it can get crowded and parking can be a bit difficult.
This place is located inside Steelcraft Bellflower. There are plenty of tables and seats if you get there before the meal rush. We ordered ube sliders with smash burger and pandasal fries with longganisa. Ube Sliders with Smash Burger- You get an ube brioche bun with a burger patty, cheese, house sauce, pickles, and grilled onions. The meat was cooked with a nice sear and it was bursing with flavor. Cheese is gooey and creamy. Overall a delicious bite! Pandasal Fries with Longganisa- Crispy fries with longganisa pieces, house sauce, and an over easy egg on top. Every element works with the dish beautifully. I especially enjoyed the sweet and savory longganisa pieces. So filling and tasty! Great experience overall!
Not a huge burger person but I love the smash burgers here. I usually get the single cheese burger and add an egg and it's perfection. The pandesal buns are so soft and fresh. I've also tried the loaded panda fries which were pretty solid as well! Keep in mind it's located at Steelcraft Bellflower and the parking is limited but not terrible
I have to admit that I found this on a social media reel, and usually those are paid "influencers" that say whatever the business wants them to say (as in.. it's never usually as good as they say), but this one was GOOD. I wasn't expecting it to be in an outdoor food hall area. There was ample parking and seating, but I wish I could have just grabbed and gone because everything else was so tempting to try!! As for the food.. it was way better than I expected. I tried the spam burger and an ube slider. So good! The fries weren't as good because they just didn't hold up well and got cold right away so they were hard. Canned drinks keep this simple. Service is friendly and quick. The taste is worth the price. I just wish I had a reason to visit Bellflower more often.
I was craving Filipino food with a twist so I went to check out this place. This place is worth a try! I ordered the Egg n Cheese sandwich with longanisa, along with their panda style fries with longanisa and an egg. The presentation of the meal looks amazing. But, I did not like the taste of the longanisa. The flavor is more dark and harsh, and less sweet. The flavor is too strong and overpowering, maybe if I balanced my order with another meat choice instead of everything longanisa. I wouldn't have this "feeling" towards the longanisa flavor. Other than that, this place did satisfy my craving and surely piqued my interest. The service was great as well, the cashier helped me order and it was ready within 10 minutes.
My girlfriend and I came across this place from an Instagram reel calling it a "Filipino In-N-Out," so we decided to check it out. It's located inside SteelCraft, which is convenient for parking, and there's outdoor seating in the courtyard if you want to eat outside. Service was decent -- nothing stood out, but everything ran smoothly and we got our food without any issues. We ordered the Panda Sal single cheeseburger, the corned beef egg & cheese, and a side of curly fries. The food was tasty, but I found it a bit overpowering halfway through. The dishes were quite salty and oily, and I would have appreciated more veggies or something to balance out the flavors. I'm not sure I'd compare it directly to In-N-Out, but it was fun to try something different and flavorful. Overall, a decent experience for trying something new. The flavors are bold, but the richness can get heavy fast. I'm glad I tried it, though I'm not sure I'd come back regularly.
Ooo we wanted flavor and we got it at Panda Sal's. Been hearing that this is comparable to the Filipino inn n out and with good reason. Their ube sliders were incredible, just perfect size for little ones but this time it was just us parents indulging on some great comfort food on date day. The prices are not bad and we came right when they opened so service was quick. I can imagine it gets busy on weekends but since we came on a Thursday morning we got lucky. Their sauce really is what brings all the flavors together so keep up the amazing work behind the scenes. And the warm pandesal was toasted juuuuust right, my burger didn't get too soggy and we all know how discouraging that can be so I don't know how they are doing it... but they are! Looking forward to coming back to support as we love love Filipino food
Been wanting to try this place for months, only to be disappointed. :( Took us almost 2 hrs to drive here because of the awful LA traffic, parking was nice, they have a decently sized lot and it's free for 2 hrs. We walked into this huge food hall, beautiful space honestly and plenty of tables and seating. I guess we entered from the back side and couldn't find their location which was hidden from facing the other side. We walked up to order, no line, menu was very hard to read since the screen is inside the window and had SO much glare but we managed. Ordered a classic burger, curly fries, and the Ube sliders which we were very excited to try. There was another customer on the side, complaining about how their buzzer still didn't go off but the lady worker said it was going to be a few minutes, turns out they were waiting for almost 30 minutes, I should've taken that as a sign. We got our buzzer and found a table, 20 minutes passed and still no buzzer going off. I gave it another 10 minutes for a total of 30 and just walked up to now a very busy, long line spot. I waited on the side till she noticed me, she paused taking the order of the guy and turned around and grabbed my food tray from the back. She apologized and asked if my buzzer didn't go off and I told her it did not. She apologized again and said if the fries are cold, to let her know and she'll remake it. Odd that she only called out the fries as if they wouldn't remake the burgers if those were cold. I walked back to the table and my bf's drink was missing and I didnt even realize because I was just so tired and hungry. He went back to get it while I settled down. Food was room temp and I basically lost my appetite. I ended up eating one slider and took the rest home for later. The buns were not a great texture, definitely different and odd for sliders and probably won't order again. We both agreed that their pickles were delicious though lol. They were almost subtly pickly and more cucumbery like the kind you find at Korean markets. Otherwise I don't think we'll be back. IG: @ammysalamii
Stopped by with a friend and just wanted something small, got the "small" slider which was three mini smash burgers with Ube Pan de Sals bun (basically sweet bread). Honestly this was reaaally saucy (called their special panda sauce) and had pickles and caramelized onions. It was really flavorful and satisfying. ($12) This place is located in steel craft, they have parking in the back but I'm sure super packed during weekends. I went on a Wednesday afternoon and had no issues.
The only bad thing I can say about Panda Sal's is that it's too far from me waaaaaah. I honestly dream about the Ube sliders and fries. It's probably a good thing that they're not near me or they would take all my money! The pandesal buns are the perfect soft and bouncy bread. The special burgers are so tender and juicy and I can't choose which is my favorite. I absolutely loved the corned beef as well! The fries drizzled with their special in-house sauce is so addicting. Topped with a fried egg and you have the perfect umami flavor. Luckily I also got to try The Royce sandwich and must say that it's even more special that it's named after their son. The team is so friendly and welcoming, I cannot wait to stop by for my next fix!

The service here is great. The guy who took our order was very helpful when we had questions about the menu. My husband and I have been wanting to try the Ube sliders for a while, and we decided to get that. We also go the Panda Style fries with spam. When we got our food, everything looked so delicious. We've had the Panda Style Fries before. And it never disappoints. The fries have great taste from the seasoning to the sauce. And the spam brings out that saltiness the fries need. I love the grilled onions on top. We usually eat it from the top to the bottom, so we usually don't get much sauce or toppings when we get to the bottom. I think it's meant to be mixed, but we don't want it to get mushy. The be sliders were good. The patty, sauce, and grilled onions were good. The Ube bread didn't have much Ube taste to us (imo). And I felt like I was getting more bread than the actually patty and what was inside the burger. I felt like I could have used more sauce to soften up the dry texture I get from the bed. But overall it was good. This place is located inside the Steelcraft so it has a nice, chill ambiance. The place can get busy, especially when they are showing games. But a nice place to hang out and chill over some food and drinks. read more
Got the panda style fries, double cheeseburger, mini smash burgers, and curly fries. The panda sauce was so good on literally everything and even the plain curly fries were already super tasty on their own. The panda style fries were my favorite, I'd definitely get those again. The sliders came on a purple ube bun which was pretty cool. Service was great too, they checked in on us during the meal and everyone was really friendly. read more

Samir the owner treated us like family got us all dialed in and I tried one of all three things we got and I'll tell you what it's worth the drive. great ambience for eating. Waited in line for more than 30 min on a Sunday for lunch. Thank you social media. Sad to hear that they ran out of lechon fries (not on the menu) and longanisa when we were close to the cashier. Will definitely come back another day to try those menu items. We ordered ube sliders biggie, the Royce, egg n cheese with corned beef, Panda style fries. The pandesal buns were a nice touch but I found the ube sliders and the Panda style fries were salty to my taste. The meat was perfectly cooked and the sauce was delicious. read more
Tried the ube sliders and it was really good! The bread's obviously very unique but the patty was also really juicy and not dry. Came over the weekend and they had live music in the shared space so atmosphere was great. Did ask for no pickles but they put them in anyway though.. will be coming back to try the longanisa burger next! read more

Panda Sal's caught my eye because they offer burgers and fries with a Filipino twist. I don't usually order burgers but I just had to try it! I'm a sucker for Spam so I went with the Spam Burger. The burger included pickles, a sunny side up egg, cheese and sauce. I never had pandesal before but I can say that I really enjoyed it as the burger bun. The sunny side up egg can get a little messy but I think it's worth it. I thoroughly enjoyed my burger and would totally come back here again. I look forward to trying the other items on the menu. In terms of seating, there are plenty available and there is plenty of parking as well. Whenever I'm craving a burger, I know right where to go! read more

Saw a few videos of this place and really wanted to give it a try, since I really love pandesal! It's inside the Steelcraft in Bellflower and theres plenty of seating! We ordered the Spamburger and the Panda Sal Double Burger. Service was really fast and the staff were kind and patient! The food was absolutely delicious! Panda Sal's -- Worth the hype? Absolutely. This spot definitely lives up to it. The burgers are juicy, flavorful, and priced just right. Their signature panda sauce is a must-try - it really brings everything together. We had the corned beef burger, and it was seriously good. The atmosphere is just as impressive. It's a cool outdoor setup with multiple steel container-style restaurants all within one compound - super unique and a great vibe. If you're thinking about checking it out, do it. You won't be disappointed. It definitely hit the spot and I left full and happy. One last thing to mention the owner, Samir, is a cool guy so that's just an additional bonus! read more
A decent burger (double phatty) but looks better on social media than it actually tastes imho. Online ordering was also weird, as pickup date was a few days after ordering date. Even when I tried to resolve this discrepancy by phone, the employee I spoke to said there would be no problem as they would start cooking immediately, but at time of pickup, they hadn't even started the order. This Egg & cheese loganisa hamburger was very good! It was marinated very well and very juicy and tender. The curly fries were decent and the good came fairly quick. The staff was nice and helpful in the menu choices. I'd come back to try their other ones like spam or corned beef. This is at steel craft so you can have a meal while watching a game, having a beer, boba or coffee or just having your kids play in the play area. read more

I wanted to check out Steel Craft and accidentally stumbled across this Filipino inspired burger spot. As a Pinoy I was really excited to see a fusion spot like this and even happier when I took that first bite. The ube sliders were well balanced in flavor, texture while the purple buns made it more enjoyable to look at. It reminded me of SpongeBob's "Pretty Patties" lol! The patty itself was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The bun was perfectly toasted and the melty cheese, with the grilled onions and pickles made the whole thing perfect. One of the best sliders I've ever had. The curly fries were also really yummy and crispy. No doubt it was a great bang for your buck!!! I feel like this place really executes the filipino-fast food vibe with their simple menu, featuring some typical Filipino meats like longanisa and spam. The workers are really sweet and friendly, I appreciate them representing Filipino cuisine and culture. Even better is the fact Pandasal is located right next to a little bar called "Off Duty" with beer, wine and mixed drinks. It's quite hard to resist a yummy beer with a burger. I just so happened to have a mango hazy to go with my burger which just made the meal complete. read more

My son and I tried Panda Sal's for the first time and we were both impressed. Both the smash burgers and curly fries were soooo yummy! The pandesal bun was toasted to perfection. The burgers had crispy edges and the thinly sliced pickles added a great crunch. Cheese was gooey and satisfying. The fries were seasoned well, crispy and soft at the same time. They were fried at just the right temperature- not greasy at all. I didn't get the name of the person who helped us, but he was so friendly. We will definitely come back. read more
Came here for the first time today at the SteelCraft. There were a bunch of different places inside but my boyfriend and I decided to try Panda Sal's today. The location was super nice and there is a lot of space to sit in the SteelCraft. We ordered the Double Burger, Longanisa Burger, and Panda Style Fries with Corned Beef and Egg. Everything was super delicious. My boyfriend enjoyed the Double burger and Fries a lot. I thought the Longanisa sandwich was just okay, it didnt taste that much like longanisa to me. We would definitely come back to try their other items though. Our food came out quick and the guy who helped us was pretty chill! Would definitely come back. read more

I loved the concept but it was just ok for me. My friend and I decided to try out a new place to eat at during our SoCal trip. Panda Sal's was on my to-do list. Located in the Steel Craft Plaza, Panda Sal's was easy to find, with the spacious outdoor dining area. We were able to order quickly due to no lines. I placed an order for the following items: - Pandesal burger with Longanisa - Panda Fries with Cornbeef I was given a pager to notify me when my order was ready. The staff of two was doing their best to disburse orders as fast as they could. Great service and food came out hot. The burger was more of a Sloppy Joe consistency rather then the traditional patty. I did get the flavors of a Filipino Breakfast, but the burger to bite ratio was uneven majority of the time. I ended up with more meat than pandesal (PAUSE), making it an open faced burger. As for the fries, it was good. Curly fries were used. Topped with cornbeef that was cooked with onions and garlic. I should have opted to add a fried egg, since eggs make a some dishes better. IMO. Glad to have experienced Panda Sal's. Next time I have to try the smash burgers. read more

I work nearby, and visit this place at least once a week. I've tried burgers all over LA, and this is definitely up there: it's tied for my favorite burger in LA County (the other being the Burger Planet food truck). Everything about their burger is perfect--patty is crispy, homemade bread, their cheese and onions blend perfectly with the patty. Their burger is also not too large, so don't have to worry about everything falling out the other end. Their fries are also great--pairs well with their "Panda sauce". It's rare to find a burger spot that makes both great burgers and fries. Usually it's one or the other (ie In N Out) This one does both. read more
Panda Sal's - Changing the game. This burger joint is IT. Certified Angus Beef smash patty, house made pickles, fire sauce, and perfect white American cheese. All within a Pan de Sal style bun?? Located in Steelcraft Bellflower, this Filipino-fusion burger spot serves some really solid smash burgers--think For the Win or Shake Shack. The sauce definitely had some unique ingredients mixed in, though it was hard to pinpoint exactly what; the flavor was subtle but really good. I could tell the pickles were picked in house and the burger itself was so cheesy it almost gave off Philly cheesesteak vibes. The bun they use is different too. Tastes great even by itself. Overall one of the better burger spots I have tried in LA. Would come again read more
Service was fast to take our order. Ordered to go and took them about ten minutes with one order ahead of me. It doesn't look the most appealing after a ten minute drive but don't let the looks fool you. Curly fries were delicious. Great seasoning and good fry. Longanisa had good caramelization and wasn't too sweet. Burger was full of flavor, cooked well, and the pan de sal bun paired well with crunchy bits. A must try. Can't wait to explore more of their menu. read more
