I thought that was a really nice touch. Each order came with three sliders, and they were actually a good size. I got full after eating two. The burger itself was very tasty. I know pandesal bread is supposed to be a bit thicker, but I personally wish it had been softer and a little more dense, more like a regular hamburger bun. The curly fries were good and stayed crispy even by the time I ate them. The Panda fries were tasty too, but a little on the salty side. The corned beef came in a patty form, which made it harder to spread throughout the fries. Overall everything was delicious, but it did feel pretty heavy after eating. My boyfriend and I were at the Steel Craft and decided to try this place out. We wanted something small so we got the Panda Style Fries which is curly fries with your choice of protein topped with cheese, grilled onions, their signature sauce, and a side of pickles. We ordered it with longanisa as our protein, however when we got it we got it with spam. And we did not get a side of pickles. If you look at the picture I posted, if your eat it from the top, you get all the goods that's included on the fries. So you gotta mix it so you get it all in every bite. Been wanting to try this place for months, only to be disappointed. :( Took us almost 2 hrs to drive here because of the awful LA traffic, parking was nice, they have a decently sized lot and it's free for 2 hrs. We walked into this huge food hall, beautiful space honestly and plenty of tables and seating. I guess we entered from the back side and couldn't find their location which was hidden from facing the other side. We walked up to order, no line, menu was very hard to read since the screen is inside the window and had SO much glare but we managed. Ordered a classic burger, curly fries, and the Ube sliders which we were very excited to try. There was another customer on the side, complaining about how their buzzer still didn't go off but the lady worker said it was going to be a few minutes, turns out they were waiting for almost 30 minutes, I should've taken that as a sign. We got our buzzer and found a table, 20 minutes passed and still no buzzer going off. I gave it another 10 minutes for a total of 30 and just walked up to now a very busy, long line spot. I waited on the side till she noticed me, she paused taking the order of the guy and turned around and grabbed my food tray from the back. She apologized and asked if my buzzer didn't go off and I told her it did not. She apologized again and said if the fries are cold, to let her know and she'll remake it. Odd that she only called out the fries as if they wouldn't remake the burgers if those were cold. I walked back to the table and my bf's drink was missing and I didnt even realize because I was just so tired and hungry. He went back to get it while I settled down. Food was room temp and I basically lost my appetite. I ended up eating one slider and took the rest home for later. The buns were not a great texture, definitely different and odd for sliders and probably won't order again. We both agreed that their pickles were delicious though lol. Ooo we wanted flavor and we got it at Panda Sal's. Been hearing that this is comparable to the Filipino inn n out and with good reason. They have a variety to pick from, but my Fiancee and I had our eyes on the Sliders which were on Ube Pandesal, smash style, got the Panda Style Fries which had corn beef, and I got the Egg N Cheese, Longanisa sando. We honestly didn't think this was going to be so much, until we got THE BOX. This whole order could've fed a family, yet here we are just the 2 of us in the pouring rain. A bite into the ube sliders and they pack so much intense flavor, would highly recommend getting this for your classic smash burger but with that ube bun. The Egg N cheese was something I was looking forward to, but it just ended up being okay, oddly enough it was sweet and also spicy, which longanisa normally isn't. Lastly the Panda Style Fries were the star of our meal. Curly fries covered with good ol' CANNED Corn Beef made my fiancée and I go head over heels for it. The staff of two was doing their best to disburse orders as fast as they could. Great service and food came out hot. The burger was more of a Sloppy Joe consistency rather then the traditional patty. I did get the flavors of a Filipino Breakfast, but the burger to bite ratio was uneven majority of the time. I ended up with more meat than pandesal (PAUSE), making it an open faced burger. As for the fries, it was good. Curly fries were used. Topped with cornbeef that was cooked with onions and garlic. I should have opted to add a fried egg, since eggs make a some dishes better. IMO. I love a good pandesal burger and the fact they offer to make breakfast sandwiches with spam, longanisa, or corned beef is pretty rad. And my burger, especially with that fried egg, was pretty epic. And you can't ever go wrong with curly fries at any time of the day. But the way they run their business is pretty much inept and off-putting. I sat in line for so long where they refused to take anyone's orders at all because they had fallen so hopelessly behind on orders. And even when they took my order it was still a good ten minutes more before it was done and I could come get it. To be clear, the food is pretty good here. I would willing come down any day for these burger and fries. But the whole experience of keeping your line waiting 10-15 minutes without giving them a chance to order is ridiculous. It's like saying the doors are open but we won't actually be doing anything to help you for the next quarter of an hour. I can't remember the last time I've been this frustrated with a way a fast casual joint organized its process. More than once I was tempted to give up as it felt like I'd been sitting idle in line for a good 20 minutes. And if you don't see the line moving at all, you might as well just concede that they hate to do business.
