Went out for a brunch with my hubby and customer service was amazing. We were seated immediately upon getting there, our servers were fast, courteous and friendly. Food choices for brunch are really good and the food was served amazingly fast. Bottomless mimosas were only $20. I usually come here and love it foods always good and the drinks are too, but they always take a long time to seat and take your order. HOWEVER, after today I'm never coming back. 1. Took super long to take my order, they didn't pay attention to their customers. 2. Security flirting with girls made for a very weird feeling restaurant, kind of creepy. He didn't wear a mask, and neither did some other employees. 3. Asked for water, and instead of a cup got a water bottle which I later found out was $3 dollars! When I didn't even ask for a bottle. 4.Asked for a michelada didn't even bother to ask me what kind of beer for it. 5. Got an agua de sandia, the watermelon tasted old and disgusting. I always get it and love the light, fresh taste, but not tonight. Told them about it, and instead of asking if I wanted something else or nothing at all instead, they brought me some random cucumber water without my input. 6. Quality of food went down, burritos I usually get were not as good and flavorful. They changed something about it, probably the beans. The beans on the side changed, they're not as good. They no longer are just regular beans with cheese on top, but they put bacon in it instead. Not to mention one of my burritos was mostly beans and rice not meat. However they messed up my eggs with should be a no brainer and so simple to get right, I ordered over medium and got over hard, one of the yokes was popped and really hard. As for the food... it was some of the worst Mexican food I've had. The forks came out dirty and the "freshly squeezed orange juice" was Tropicana I think. Now to the food. Came in around 8pm last night, overall some of the food was good, some was not. My boyfriend had the birria quesadilla and said the birria tasted like tap water. I had the enchilada and chicken taco combo. I liked the enchilada, but the crispy chicken taco was soo plain and unseasoned. The chicken had no seasoning, and the only things they put in the taco were chicken, cheese, and mixed greens lettuce. We liked the beans. Our server was also very, very slow, even though she only had 2 tables. She was nice, but we saw her on her phone by the kitchen while we waited for our check. The food also took about 30 minutes, and again the restaurant was not at all busy. I went with tots since I haven't had them in forever. The food was delicious. The bacon wrapped shrimps were perfect. The quality of food was pretty good I would compare it to an el pescador. The music was loud and fun. The service was overall great. They do last call around 9:15 and they close at 10pm.
