The service counter was vacant, but my rice was full of meat! I decided to catch the mighty Monday deal (use code MIGHTY for $5 off) . This was my first time coming here. When I walked inside I saw zero workers around. My online order was sitting on the counter all alone . I grabbed it and left out. I order the combination fried rice with shrimp, steak, and chicken . I also added extra green onions! I got extra sauce on the side and I'm glad a did because it was needed. I appreciate how they weren't stingy with the meat ! CHECK YOUR ORDERS - they may try to poison you. Horrible management - beyond unprofessional. I had a major error in my order regarding a peanut allergy and a whole entree being delivered covered in peanuts. My whole appetizer was also missing and the other entree was missing the meat. Tried to contact the store to have this resolved and the "manager" refused to address the concern or supply his name. Tried calling back numerous times just to be hung up on. I've given this place numerous chances to get it together and this is the last straw. It's not hard to read a screen and prepare an order properly. My noodle stir fry was truly a fire bowl. I didn't expect much from an Asian fast casual type place, but these noodles tasted of high quality. I had the stir fry your way with chicken, spring veggie mix, teriyaki sauce, and flat rice chow fun. The spring veggie mix with the bamboo shoots and water chestnuts really hit. The teriyaki sauce was not too sweet at all, and the chicken was great in the sauce. My friend got the pad Thai, and she said it was good but not her favourite. She was able to finish all of hers, and I had about 1/3 left, although I could have finished it if I were hungry. For $15, this was not as generous of a portion as I would like since it is fast casual, but I was so impressed by the taste and quality that it gets five stars. read more

I'm not really sure what's going on with this Location, I thought it was new management, but apparently not? The quality has dropped significantly. The guy got our order wrong twice, but the good news is he undercharged us. When they remade it, they put extra peppers in the General Tso's, we feel as a punishment-it was like 10 big peppers for that little bitty thing of stirfry. I asked for extra spicy peanut sauce and they didn't even bother putting any in the bowl, they just gave me a side -this is not the first time that's happened. Why are they so stingy with their sauces? We're not impressed and I've been going to that location for 15 years or so. We won't be going back. Maybe we'll try the La Frontera location. read more

I waited over 30 minutes my meal never arrived. My colleagues finished their meal. I had no choice but to cancel my order. The cashier was super kind and recommended a couple of easy apps - let me tell you, BEST hot and sour soup I've ever had! Also the crab Rangoon's were awesome!!! (4) Vegetarian options, sort of (5) Real bowls for dine-in (not disposable) (6) Nice decor CONS: ----------- (1) The MINIMUM default tip on the card reader is 15%, even though 10% is standard for counter service. (Yes, I know I can go through the hassle of changing it, that's not the point.) (2) There is nothing on the menu marked vegan, even though 6% of Americans are vegan (1 in 16). (3) There's nothing on the menu that's even vegetarian, at least not by default. Some items are marked (V) with the footnote for (V) saying "Can be made vegetarian," i.e., not already vegetarian. (4) And that's only on the website menu. On the menu in the store, there's no indication what can be "made" vegetarian. (5) A sturdy metal room divider is integrated into the seating bench, as the back of the bench. So if you're seated there, you would normally want to lean back against the divider, which is certainly strong enough, except a sign on the divider says not to. Super weird design choice. (6) To-go containers seem to be disposable plastic, not sustainable. read more

Spicy, flavorful sauce, lots of veggies mixed in which I appreciated, and the tofu is also really good and flavorful. We also got summer rolls that come with a really good peanut sauce, however I was kind of disappointed with the filling of the summer roll. I make them at home and know you can get them really full and flavorful, but these really only had plain noodles, lettuce greens, some herbs and 1 piece of tofu, nothing really for crunch or to help it hold shape. Overall, a good place for a quick, inexpensive bite, but I wouldn't be a regular. read more

They have nearly 10 protein options that range in spicy-ness - I chose the Szechuan Garlic with beef. It was really tasty, but I needed to add more chili sauce for more heat... I likely spicy! My family had eaten at this place multiple times in the past, but I had actually never joined. The place was pretty empty and the service was quick from the start. The menu was straight forward and we got our food out very shortly after ordering. I ended up going with some shrimp rice bowl that included pineapple, but my meal certainly didn't have the flavor I expected. I was expecting more of a flavorful impact from that, but mostly fried rice was the taste. No complaints here though. For about $10 I had a lunch that left me with some leftovers. I'm generally one to finish my entire meal in one sitting, but this was a really filling meal. My husband and I are keto/low carb and it can be difficult to eat out sometimes. We decided to try this place and were not disappointed!  I ordered the Red Thai curry with shirmp and instead of rice or noodles, I got the lettuce mix- LOVE that they have this option. My husband ordered the Kung Pao chicken with the lettuce mix. Everything was delicious and offered a cheap, healthy option. We will be keeping Firebowl on rotation from now on. Mmmmm mmmmm! I was a regular at the Brodie location in college, but it has been many moons since I went for Fire Bowl. This location was near my hotel, and my husband and I went straight here for a late lunch after flying in. I did not see a pick your own veggies bar, so I inquired with the cashier - he said the location never had the option but the other 2 did (I am not sure if they do now). I did not like the 2 veggie mix options, so the nice cashier offered for me to pick 6 veggies of my choice, including some not on the mix lists but in other dishes! I got white rice (they do not charge $1 extra for noodles anymore!), shiitakes, edamame, broccoli, green onions, baby corn, and water chestnuts, fried tofu, and a sauce I had never seen before - lemongrass basil (I just got back from Thailand and it definitely appealed to me). The cashier approved of my choices (he said I picked goooood stuff!). I also got iced green tea - I am trying to decide if this is the place that started it all (it meaning my obsession with drinking iced green tea every day) or if it was Quack's. Nevertheless, the sauce was great, the veggie mix just what I crave, the tofu delicious but not fried-fried (rather pan-fried) and the rice - it was a great combo, a good price deal, a must eat again (re-creating at home though).
