The food was good quality but the stir fry bowl had about 3oz of chicken. For $15, that's ridiculous.

Stopped in for an early lunch before a movie and had fried pork egg rolls since they were not willing to substitutethe springroll from tofu for another protein, entrees were the drunken noodle with soft tofu and beef and the combo Thai basil fried rice, and 2 cups of water, after almost $50 for 2 bowls, all the add ons added up! It was good with my flat rice noodles being perfectly al dente. The eggrolls were a bit over fried but we didn't say anything since we were on a timeframe. Staff lacked personality and the lady taking the orders seemed to lack communication, we decided to just roll with it. read more

This is the second time I ordered a noodle dish from them and asked for it to not be spicy and they made it spicy. Last time we asked for one dish to be very spicy and separate dish to be non spicy and they made both dishes equally spicy . This time I asked for the noodle dish to not be spicy and the chicken dish to be mild and they made the noodles super spicy while the chicken wasn't spicy at all. Either way one whole dish ends up not being eaten and it's annoying AF. Cherry on top are the lovely stomach cramps that follow post my attempt to eat some of it. Flavor is also pretty bland. I think heat is the only flavor they put on the noodles. Peace out Fire Bowl, I'm done eating your food for good. read more

Please stop putting sweet and sour on the nuggets - put the sauce on the side like you have for 20 years. Food is fine but buyer beware. You have to put in your own order in a kiosk, get your own drink & refills and then when you're done eating you have to clear your own dishes. All of this and they still have the audacity to ask for a 18%, 20% or 25% tip when you check out. Do better Fire Bowl. read more

I have been a regular customer at this location for the last 6 years. This was the cleanest restaurant I have ever been to. The food was consistent and delicious. It's not high quality Chinese food, but a good quick alternative. Something changed in the past 2 months. I order the same thing each time and my order includes the sweet and sour sauce for dipping. The new sauce is inedible. Somehow it is both oily and tasteless. I am sure other things have changed as well. I won't be back for a long while. Cost savings doesn't equal happy customers. read more

Super disappointing experience. We got our appetizer after our main course, the lettuce platter, which came with an entire 3 pieces of lettuce. It was a big discussion to get 2 more pieces of lettuce to almost finish our appetizer. Got to my main course (a build your own stir fry for $14), and it has NO FLAVOR. I ordered the Ginger White Wine sauce after some debate out loud between that or the curry coconut. I definitely didn't expect my food to taste more bland than butter noodles. There wasn't a hint of ginger flavor in sight. I went up and asked for a side of a different sauce to make my horrible dish edible, and the manager informed me it would be $1.60. I explained to her the dish is inedible and disgusting bland, to which she AGREED. She said "oh yes that sauce is very bland no flavor" so I ask why there isn't any ginger flavoring at all and ask why that wasn't told to me before ordering, if it's known the ginger sauce tastes NOTHING LIKE GINGER. Pick a carb, pick a protein, pick a vegetable, pick a sauce kinda place. They do some stir fry in the kitchen and then pass it on to you in a bowl. And well, honestly, it's just ok. It tastes fresh enough, but there doesn't feel like there's a lot of flavor, even though one would assume a thai curry base for stir fried noodles would pack more of a punch. It's also not that spicy either, where I added some additional heat after with some chili oil to give some semblance of flavor. Portion sizes are on the smaller side too. Food does come out super quick though (which given since it's mostly stir fry, makes sense). So if you're in a rush and don't want a traditional fast food place, it's an option. read more

Spring forward to the present, and my wife & I decided to give Fire Bowl another try. Sad to say, Fire Bowl took a turn for the worst. Today, they no longer use real plates, but instead, they serve food in paper bowls with a plastic fork & spoon. The food portion has gotten smaller with a higher price. I know that food prices went up during the pandemic, but it's been almost 2 years since the pandemic. What is their reason for price gouging & paper products? A $35 meal for two on paper bowls & plastic silverware. They don't even offer the fortune cookies today. Plus, they wanted a tip for counter service. Pure greed. Never again. read more

Off I went to satisfy my craving I arrived shortly after 11AM. Only a couple of tables with diners and one person in front of me in line My turn to order. I select the spicy peanut with chicken on brown rice. The best part is, I found out you don't need to order the standard veggie bundle so I picked Thai veggies but subbed the mushrooms for snap peas. Got my cup for the drink and located a table to wait. There are about 18 four seater tables and 3 large hi-top tables. While I was there, two tables were loaded with filled to go bags. At one table was a food delivery driver loading some of the bags. Two more delivery drivers showed up. There was also 2 customers who walked in and within 5 minutes got to go bags and left. I guess take out is big at this place. Since I arrived it took me only 5 minutes to place my order. The wait for my food was in the 25 minute range. It appeared the take out orders were given priority. The food was good as usual. Ordered the general tsos chicken with tofu instead of chicken. There was no sauce in the dish, except for the very minimal sauce that the tofu and broccoli was originally cooked in. The dish was basically just a block of stuck together dry rice noodles with no sauce to flavor or separate them. The fried tofu had a thick layer of flour on it so it just tasted like I was eating tofu coated in flour. I called to ask if I could get some sauce on the side delivered and she said no, those dishes don't come with sauce, even though it clearly stated on Uber eats it comes with the vegetarian sauce. Been coming to Firebowl for 10 years now. Unfortunately the quality of food has fallen off and the management was a bit rude. Was cut off by the manager while trying to input my rewards number and had to ask after the transaction if I could input my phone number to find out I had $5 in credit that could have been applied to my meal had I not been interrupted throughout my order. I've gotten the same Crispy Orange chicken every time and today they loaded it with too much spice and made it difficult to share with my daughter. It's a shame when a reliable food spot falls off.
