Bombay Masala Omelete
Srinanda G.

Stopped in for breakfast on a weekday and very pleasantly surprised. First impressions, the staff were friendly, the place was very clean and neat and we saw some people working on their laptops. Got the Bombay Masala Omelete which was really well seasoned but felt a tad bit undercooked. Also got the Hot Masala Fries and those were really well made. Wasn't expecting to receive as many fries as we did considering it was a "small plate" menu item, but no complaints. Ordered the lava cake for our sweet tooth cravings, and this one was a bit of a miss for us. This palce is also BYOB, which was nice. My favv and most important part is that this place is dog friendly, so it was nice being able to bring our puppy to brunch with us.

The service was friendly , and the ambiance of the place is very quaint and perfect for brunch. The food was perfect breakfast food, and I loved how the latte was slightly bitter from the amaretto but not in an overpowering way. I'd definitely come here again

Chicken sausage

Great food and service. Came on a snowy Saturday and was immediately seated. I called ahead and was pleased to hear they had space for my party of 4. We had the Apple cloud cakes, the regular cloud cakes, the chicken and waffle and the lamb burger. The food was really great. I would have preferred dark meat with the chicken and waffle but the breast was good and not dry. The lamb burger was excellent! The chicken sausage was not breakfast sausage, just regular sausage, and a large portion! The cloud cakes were also good. I do wish they chopped the apples up smaller. The seating is a tad bit tight? But not uncomfortable. 8/10 definitely recommend!

Alfredo Pasta with Chicken

It had been a while since I last visited, but there was definitely a change in owners, with a newly designed interior, and menu. We came on a Sunday morning which was BUSY... typical of other brunch spots in this area. Disappointed that other customers were seated before us (party of 2), even though they say that they didn't take reservations. After about a 40 min wait, we were seated. - Chicken Pasta (3/5): was craving more of a "lunchy" food, so ordered pasta. A bit one dimensional in flavor and too rich. The chicken cost extra. Wish there was some acidity to the dish to cut through the cheese. Staff were kind enough to give me hot sauce to complement it. - California Burger (4.5/5): my friend ordered this one, and she enjoyed it. She loved the fresh avocado and the side salad A good staple in the Edison area- just be careful of the long wait and the breakfast foods look promising. Ty for reading :^)

Good, local spot with very nice staff. Easy parking and large menu variety - I would absolutely recommend this spot. Food was very good and ambience is cozy but not stuffy. Thanks for a great lunch!

Cappuccino and Double Cortado.

Hard to say no to this place. Really good. The food menu is generous, with plenty of options to choose from. Everything is done very nicel, the presentation is great, and everything feels clean and well kept. The space itself is nice and roomy, with plenty of tables. The staff is friendly, and the wait time was quick. I had a sandwich as well as the omelette. The cappuccino was great, and so was the cortado. I recommend this place many times over. Great spot for breakfast or brunch.

First time to this cafe .. seriously - from outside it doesn't look like a cafe . I thought it was a car mechanic shop i would say it's a hidden gem . Good location . Right on oak tree . Lots of parking outside . The cafe looked very interesting and. Ice ambience . Coffee tables looked very good for chitchats with friends and families . It's a bit pricey though. Ordered Nashville style burgers for about 20$ !!!! Food was awesome though ... burger was really well made and crispy . Spice level was perfect . Fries were good too ! We also ordered Bombay sandwiches and it tasted good . Bean rice salad was ok. Looked healthy .. price wise everything was expensive than normal pricing outside . Service was good . Space was a little constrained inside . Tables were close to each other and it was a noisy restaurant.. good experience overall .. 4 stars

The service was warm and efficient from the moment I walked in. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance--modern, clean, and cozy enough to linger over breakfast. There was a great selection of breakfast options, with something for everyone--from lighter choices to hearty plates. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The real standout, though, was the coffee--smooth, bold, and perfectly brewed. It's definitely a spot I'd return to for a relaxed morning meal or a casual catch-up over coffee.

Smoky Tom

We stopped by Edison Automat for a late Sunday breakfast and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The ambience was relaxed, perfect for a chill afternoon meal. We tried the Smoky Tom Omelette and the Bombay Masala Omelette, and both were absolutely delicious. To drink, we had a regular coffee and an iced vanilla latte--both were excellent. Service was warm and efficient, rounding out a great experience.

Bombay veg

Popular brunch cafe spot located in Edison with indoor and outdoor seating. From a menu ranging from American to Indian fusion food options, enjoyed the simple, classic Bombay veg sandwiches and Nescafé coffee (sweetener sits at the bottom, don't repeat my mistake and stir before drinking). The chips are not worth it but the fries are delicious. Only wish the service was a little better - while there is staff visible, only one server went table to table taking orders - making it a bit of a wait.

Cobb salad
Ryan S.

I got the Cobb salad, which was great (4.5/5)! There was a ton of chicken on top, and it was a big portion overall! The service was good (4/5), and the interior is also nice! They have a big menu with a lot of good looking options.

Everything has changed. New owners but it's not the same. They used to make the best London Fog. They brewed their own to make it. Now it's awful. They had a chicken bruschetta sandwich. That's gone. Might as well change the name because it isn't the same.

Service: I was warmly welcomed by the only employee working at the time (I'll update this review with his name later). Even while managing the café solo, he took the time to answer my questions, offer recommendations, and made me feel genuinely welcome. What I Ordered: I had the salmon toast, and it was excellent. The bread was perfectly toasted with just the right crunch while still staying soft inside. The sauce pulled everything together, and I appreciated him mentioning he was still refining the recipe--it's already one I'd order again. I also tried the Biscoff cookie, which was incredibly soft and packed with Biscoff pieces in every bite. The Detail Most People Miss: Even the restroom reflected the care put into the café. The tasteful wallpaper and quality tissues were small details that made the experience feel intentional. Worth It? Absolutely. Between the welcoming service, quality food, organic options, and relaxing atmosphere, this is the kind of neighborhood café I'll gladly return to. Rozzay Rating:

Coffee is genuinely top notch. I drink lattes and theirs are consistent, which is harder to pull off than people think. No burnt shots, no soupy foam. Staff are friendly and mostly Rutgers students, so the faces rotate a bit, but they're always on it. Mo, the owner, is around all the time and is a great guy -- the kind of place where the owner actually knows the regulars. For savory items, we ordered the tocino sausage and spamganisa sandwiches w/ egg added. My boyfriend thought the spamganisa needed some sort of kick like hot sauce, but we both agreed the tocino tasted better: it had a nice balance of sweetness and savoriness. For sweets, we ordered the caramelized honey butter toast and ube champorado croissant. The honey butter toast was aesthetically yummy, but was difficult to cut into and the bread tasted slightly overcooked so it was hard to bite into. However, the ube champorado croissant had a nice crunch and ube filling inside! The service was quick, the area where the cafe is located is nice and the decoration and lighting made the cafe very aesthetically pleasing. However, they do have limited seating, but if you go around the morning on a weekday, there might not be too many people which is nice if you're not into crowds.
