Might be my fav pasta rn - please get the vodka pasta and the squid ink. Both are just slightly life changing and if not maybe ur life is already just good. The avocado salad is also crazy and the servers are always so sweet. Highly recommend for a nice, smart casual dinner.

After a long walk around GGP, we wrapped up the evening at Fiorella. We were immediately welcomed by a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere that perfectly balanced casual comfort with celebratory energy that created the backdrop for a meal worth savoring. We ordered: - NOPEROL SPRITZ (giffard and martini & rossi, n/a aperitivos, good twin n/a sparkling wine) -- refreshing and thoughtfully crafted - SAUVIGNON BLANC (2024, Walter Hansel, Sonoma County) -- full-bodied with crisp acidity, offering bright notes of citrus pith, pineapple, grapefruit, tarragon, and ginger - NYC STYLE PEPPERONI PIE (Ezzo pepperoni, 'NYC slice' style sauce, mozzarella & grana padano) -- showcased everything Fiorella does well: a nicely charred, chewy crust, rich flavor, and an unexpected hit of garlic slices that provided an extra layer of flavor and personality. Service was attentive and friendly throughout. Overall, Fiorella Sunset delivers on both atmosphere and cuisine, and is a local gem that every Italian food lover should try!

The burrata pie was most excellent.

The Super Fun Friendship Club finally made it's first visit to Fiorella with a party of ten. We will certainly be back. The staff here is PHENOMENAL. Friendly, efficient, and attentive. Great Italian food with some of the less standard options. The pizzas here are simple and perfect. They really focus on highlighting just a couple of flavors and getting it very right. The funghi pizza, for example, does not distract you from the magic of the mushrooms. It hones in on it and highlights it. Mmmm, yes please! We have a "no cheese" member in our club and Fiorella accommodated them perfectly. Thanks! The burrata tomato salad, when in season, is a mind-blowing taste experience. It's perfect. I highly recommend the arancini appetizer and the Nonna's meatballs appetizer. These are also both perfect. You'll be saying, "Oh my gosh, I am so glad that Wolf told me to order this!" And you will be very right. The only downside here is the noise level makes it hard to have conversations. Next time, we will see if we can dine on the rooftop patio or something. Pro tip: After dinner, walk a few doors down and get some ice cream at Hometown Creamery. This is a great neighborhood to stroll around. Parking can be tricky so come a bit earlier in the evening to get a good spot.

Nice spot for a date night! Had a reservation for 7pm on a Friday, and it took a while to find parking. I recommend parking in Golden Gate Park as it's a close walk. The Burrata Pie is a perfect size for 2! Pairs well with 2022 Chianti Colli Fiorentini Red. It was okay to me. Service was quick, but had some minor mishaps with wrong orders coming to our table and an incorrect check. Be sure to double check!

We came here for a quick bite before heading to the Lightscape event at botanical gardens (before they ended up cancelling it). It was one of the rainiest and windiest nights I've seen in San Francisco! The upper dining area is not strongly suited for this type of weather. The "roof" is cloth material that whips around and holds rain water on top that leaks down. Luckily ours didn't leak but the large party to our left had some hissing heaters because of the water coming through. There was only one server on top who was covering 6 tables and we were all seated at once so the poor guy was working his butt off. Because of the cancelled lightscape, we were not in a rush. Pasta was fresh! I don't know if they're all house made but the ones we ordered were. I haven't had pesto in a few years due to overdoing it in meal prep for years and years, and this pesto did not disappoint. So delicious in a house made pasta with green beans. Must order: 1. Meatballs 2. Arancini 3. Wilted chicory salad - hear me out here; chicory is always a bit bitter but they pair it with a warm anchovy vinaigrette. Delicious!

We came here for dinner on a Monday evening a little after it opened at 5pm. Happy hour is from 5-6pm. We didn't know this when we chose this place but they had good choices for lower prices. We got the mushroom pizza and the lamb sausage pasta. For the pasta, it was with gluten free pasta which was very good. Good balance of ingredients. Portion sizes were good. For the pizza, the texture was a bit on the chewy side. There's no Parmesan cheese on the table. It's something you need to request. It doesn't cost extra though. I can understand this if it was fresh Parmesan that needs to be shaved at the table but it's not. And they give you a little bit on a small dish. Anyway, the food was good. The atmosphere was comfortable. Service was very good.

Wow, we had some amazing pizza here. My kid said it was the best pizza she's had in ten years (and she's only 9, ha). We tried the arancini (also delicious), broccolini, burrata pizza, and I had the vodka pasta (cooked perfectly). I also loved the spicy Bloody Mary. Would love to return!

We got there right when it opened at 4:30 which was a great choice. They were getting busy when we left. Our server was very accommodating(we moved tables after being sat by the door upstairs) he knew the menu and was very nice. We got the crostini which was so good. I got a white peach Negroni for a drink. We also got wings and two pizzas. The burrata pizza and a pepperoni. I think I the total bill was over $200 which was a little spendy!! But the food was good. The tomato sauce was very flavorful. I could have had more burrata instead of just one piece for the whole pizza because it was a little bare.

I had a great visit to Fiorella on 9th! We arrived in time for our 7 pm reservation and the table wasn't quite ready, so the server provided us with some complementary white wine. Our table was ready 5 minutes later. The staff was very attentive and quick with our orders. For the food, both of the pasta dishes we had were great, and I really recommend the diavolo dish. The crostino was slightly underwhelming and undersalted, which is why I can't give 5 stars. But overall, a fantastic place! Will visit again.

We celebrated a birthday with a group of 10 adults and 2 babies, and this restaurant truly went above and beyond from start to finish. They seated us at a long table by the fireplace and even accommodated our two strollers neatly out of the way. We began with the East Coast Chopped Salad and the OC Baby Lettuce--both generously portioned, nicely dressed and perfect for sharing. For mains, we ordered a variety of pizzas including the Margherita, Burrata, Funghi, Pepperoni, Salsiccia, and along with the Bolognese, Vodka and Chitarra alla Cacio e Pepe pastas. Even as someone who usually skips the crust, I couldn't resist--the thin, wood-fired pizzas were delicious, and every topping was full of flavor. They kindly cut and plated our birthday cake in the back before serving it to the table, which was such a thoughtful touch. Ray, our waiter, and Isabella the hostess provided exceptional, attentive service throughout, and we never felt rushed. Food, service, ambiance--chef's kiss! We'll absolutely be back again and again.

Came here for a friend's birthday as a large group, and we had such a great time! We sat on the rooftop, which had heaters and a really nice ambience. The food was delicious all around. We started with the arancini, which was perfectly hot, cheesy, and crispy, and the sauce it came with was so good. The vodka pasta was the highlight of the meal - creamy, flavorful, and super satisfying. As a burrata lover, I also have to say the burrata pizza was fresh, rich, and definitely something I'd order again. Overall, great vibes, great food, and perfect for a group dinner or celebration.

Got the funghi pie, meatballs, and bolognese. Funghi is a crowd favorite especially for mushroom lovers. Love the wood fired taste. Meatballs were comforting and also had good size. Pasta came out al dente and meaty. Service was efficient, kind, and attentive! Place is kind of dimmed inside, tidy and neat! Would definitely come back again.

This is one of the few italian spots I would keep coming back to. The vodka pasta is creamy and flavorful but not too heavy. I wasn't a huge fan of the bolognese sauce (meat was bit gamey) but my friends didn't find it an issue. The pasta was perfectly al dente, I find that a lot of other pasta spots lean too undercooked with their pasta. The pizzas were both great, though the salsiccia was a bit too salty. Service was great on a Sunday at noon.

The shishito peppers ended up being extremely spicy as well, those are usually just a few spicy and not the majority. The roasted lemon and salt was a wonderful combo but just too spicy to eat. However, the server very kindly removed it from our bill without us asking. We order the crostini because we were still hungry and that was an absolute hit. Delicious med-soft crostini with luscious berries and sweet honey. I didn't care my hands got sticky as it was soooo good! Great experience, I would be weary if the peppers as I'm a bit spice-intolerant but everything else was spot-on.

The chips are seasoned like Doritos so there's a nice flavor but the seasoning is in consistent. Some pieces were SO salty and some had no seasoning. The salsa is pretty rich as well. After a park day at the Presidio, we wanted to move the party and we decided on Bar Darling. It was a Saturday afternoon and it was jam packed. Luckily we were able to get some space in the alley way for us to order drinks from our server. We've been on a Friday around 5pm on another day, it wasn't as busy, so definitely a great place to start and maybe end the night. In a time where craft cocktails have gotten really expensive, Bar Darling offers craft cocktails (their signature cocktails) all for $14 each. If you know Peacekeeper, you know there's a lot of thought and imagination that goes into their drinks and it definitely shows here. My favorites were the Mama J (tequila based) and the Jaji (mezcal based). The aesthetic and vibes of this place is 10/10. Definitely great for a group of friends and/or date night!

I'll note that the promotional photos online give a somewhat misleading impression of the ambiance. The actual interior is considerably more modest and utilitarian than advertised. We ended up seated outdoors beneath one of those industrial heat lamps, which was blasting uncomfortably hot air until our server kindly switched it off at our request. That said, the service was efficient and attentive. Our drinks arrived promptly despite the crowd, and the staff managed the busy room well. Nothing particularly memorable about the experience, but perfectly adequate for a casual evening out. A solid four out of five stars.
