Really love my manicurist but I get mildly cut on my fingers each visit which usually isn't a big deal. Until today, I started bleeding a little and she was great about cleaning it up & apologized. However when I got home I realized it was 2 of my fingers that were deeply cut from the nail file. I've been cleaning them and trying not to think about the pain but I'm at the point where I can't feel my finger tips. This is really upsetting because I know accidents happen, but this wasn't a cheap manicure and I've really never experienced this at any salon before. Does anyone have tips on how I can heal this? Fine touch was recommended to me. I went there three times and had two awful experiences. The receptionists aren't trained with minimum basic customer service and can come across rude. My final straw was when I booked an appointment with someone the receptionist recommended to shape my nails the way I requested. Received text confirmation a couple days before as well as a phone call the day prior to a 9:30am appt for a new set. To show up wait 15 min to be told that he booked his self via text and I would have to wait until 2pm. Excuse me. So that means techs and receptionists don't communicate and they end up wasting your time. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. I started not to come back anymore after the second time. But decided to give it another chance and for this to happen. Oh and I never really leave reviews.....but I read them, and now realize it's so important. On my way to another nail salon. I've been getting dip powder manicures for 5 years and never had an issue with my nails. My salon recently closed so I tried Finetouch Nails. I strongly do not recommend this place. It is very businesslike and not very welcoming. Dip powered should usually last 3-4weeks mine lasted 3 days. I went back to fix the ones that broke. They then broke after another 4 days. She told me they don't do dip but when I called they said they did and it was $50!! They did not massage my hands all they did was file the nails. Pedicure was very fast and barely massage or rubbed my legs. Worst $90 I've ever spent. read more

Today was my last visit to this salon after going here for over a year. This is not the first time they've made last-minute changes to my appointment but it was the worst. I booked for 11:30, and at 11 I received a text that my time was changed to 12. I arrived at 12 and was seated in the chair for my pedicure, and at 12:30 my operator was still working on her previous client. I used to love it here. Unfortunately, how they treat loyal customers is radically different from the way they treat new customers, although you'd expect an established business to treat all their customers well. Beware the pricing strategy - they'll tell you one price over the phone, but once you're at the salon, they'll charge you extra for everything, from $5 extra per nail if you choose to get a different nail color (even if it's the exact same color, but BARELY OFF by 1 shade) to more money if you choose to add a single stone or something simple like glitter on a nail you already paid to have a design on (well, what would I pay a design for if the additional charge didn't  already include glitter, ombre, or the rhinestone? then, what exactly are you charging me for?) The first time I was treated in a poor manner was after the lockdown. I created a nail appt with Maira that I even received the confirmation text for a week in advance. However, when I got to the salon 20 minutes early, I had to wait for a FULL HOUR PAST my appointment time because the receptionist (one of their employees out of all people! not even another client) was getting her nails done and had hijacked my appt slot. She tried to distract me by having someone do my toe color change in the meantime, but even after that was done, Maira was still working on the receptionists nails and I had to wait half an hour MORE. Then, when I brought it to their attention in a civil manner (which is pretty challenging considering any clients patience would have been tested at that point), the receptionist asked me in a very rude and condescending way if I had somewhere else to go as if that's the only thing that mattered. Regardless of whether or not I had somewhere else to be at that point, the point is you should assist a customer the moment that they walk into your shop and that point is emphasized even more when they have an appt that they made in advance! I wasn't even a walk-in, to say that that was "the reason" for the wait. Then, when I asked if I could receive a discount or some kind of compensation for my time (i. e. 5-10% off) which any business would have gladly done to keep a customer due to the fact that they made me lose an hour of my time as a client so the receptionist could do her nails, which I had to get fixed the next day anyway because the shape was all wrong, they were contemptuous towards me and told the manager in the most disrespectful way that I didn't wanna pay! This was all after a different visit before lockdown where I heard Maira and the receptionist gossiping amongst themselves about another customer, saying that customer didn't want to pay and calling her cheap. You would think a business would value their clients more after lockdown and would do more to show their appreciation to new and loyal customers who came back, not treat them as if they were replaceable and give substandard and terrible service to their clients! They're unprofessional, dishonest, money hungry, and don't engage in ethical business practices. Even after all that, I still tried to get an appt with Maira and give her another shot, because I honestly do find her nail art striking, but when I called, I was lied to and told she didn't have availability after I gave my name when she so clearly did. Then, when they did give me the appt on that same call, I left the appt with a bleeding finger. I go to a salon for me time and to treat myself, not to be treated like I'm worthless when I'm there. A shame to say because I'm the type of individual who's loyal and will stick with someone forever if I love the quality of services they provide, but after experiencing all this after COVID at FineTouch, I'll be look elsewhere. Although they seem to act like they're God's gift to man y la última Coca Cola del desierto, they're not the only salon with skilled nail techs in the industry. After all, that's why beauty schools and a plethora of salons exist, and after a full year and a half, if they no longer value me as a customer here, I'll just find a place that will. read more

I had on horrible acrylic nails from the old nail salon i went to before and she took them off very carefully making sure not to ruin my nails. She then put on a brand new set, shaped them just the way I asked, filed them to the perfect length and made them thin just, exactly I asked !! Never again! I had a 2:30 appointment and I was taken at 3:10. The only reason I didn't leave was because my two friends were in the middle of their manicures. My manicurist came over and said she was "finishing the top coat" of her current customer. I appreciated the acknowledgement and decided to wait. I showed her a design I wanted and she told me it was a tape so she couldn't do it. After waiting so long I didn't argue. As she was finishing she says she can do something similar to it. My nails came out so thick and I can see the coats now that they're growing out. Also, around the edges they're chipping and it's only been a week. Other employees were very unprofessional and unsanitary. One lady had finished a pedicure, started doing someone else's manicure and was eating while filing her customers nails. To be honest I am shocked the this place has so many little stars. Fine touch is the only place I trust so much with my nails. They have never failed me (check the photos I posted). This place is eh. While I did walk it and get a nice gel manicure with a beautiful design, that is all it was. There was no extras to it. No scrub and a 5 second per hand massage. Also, the woman told me my manicure would cost $32 and she charged me $35. I understand the cost of a good manicure but don't tell me one price and then charge me another in the end. I think that is disrespectful. In addition, I got a manicure with stones on it and in less than 24 hours one of the stones fell off on my one hand. So, I went back 2 days after my manicure and got it replaced with no problem or charge. That same day 3 stones fell off on the other side. If you are not going to secure them, then why charge me the extra money? I may or may not try them again. There's so many nice nail places around so I may go elsewhere. read more

I got my nails done with Anna. The polish came out a little lumpy but price was similar to other places I've gone too. I got an acrylic fill. However my gel pedi was $45 which I find to be outrageous considering I got no add ons and the girl who did my pedicure wasn't that great. So I've been coming to this place for a few months and figured I'd share my experience. Pros: Pretty easy to get an appointment if you're not requesting a certain nail tech. Today I got them done by Laura and she was really nice and copied the shape I showed her to a T (she was also pretty fast which is a plus because I don't know about you guys but I hate sitting there for 2 hours just for a fill, which I've experienced in some other places) Cons: My only real complaint is that they do great work and seem pretty affordable (a fill with gel polish for $26) but neglect to tell you all of the "additional costs" like any shape other than the traditional boxy square shape is $10 more. $5 dollars for matte color. $5 or more for any rhinestones or nail art and a whopping $5 A NAIL for chrome or other specialty polish which obviously comes out to an extra $50! Would recommend just make sure you ask about pricing before you start service. read more

I don't get what all the hype was? I went to the most raved about guy loe, he did a good job but nothing super special. I made an appointment still had to wait 30 min to get to his chair. Got very simple acrylic set not even tips acrylic on my natural nail, round shape and a gel polish and it was a whopping $43 bucks!!!!! That in my experience is way overpriced. They nickel and dime you. I've been going here for almost 20 years! It's great, just like any other place sometimes two people don't communicate the same way and things get misconstrued. Nevertheless nine out of ten of my experiences here have been positively, UNTIL I had a fill in with Anthony. He came late, I was told he would do an ombré design but he said he wasn't capable of that (mind you, it's the easiest design to do) rushes through my fill in with an attitude REEKING if cigarettes and then when I told him it wasn't good quality he told me "it looks a hell of a lot better then what you came in with" my nails prior had been done by the nail tech who works next to him, rude much. If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. To begin with, the customer service is HORRIBLE. And to make it worse they made the attitude filled receptionist a manicurist. Everyone charges different prices for different services and the quality ranges which shouldn't even be possible because they are all supposed to be using the same product. One day, I had an appointment, but it wasn't with my regular nail lady. While I got up to grab a different color, the manicurist took one someone else, which I'm assuming is her regular customer, in my place. She asked to give her "5 minutes". It turned into 20 minutes. Anthony is an great nail technician. I have also worked with Crystal who is just as amazing. They are kind and very personable. The receptionist on the other hand is a huge problem. I don't know her name because she wouldn't give it to me. Young, highlights in her hair. Wouldn't lift her head up upon arrival to greet me both Saturday and again today Monday January 25th as she was texting. Incredibly rude. I wanted to give her the benefit of doubt given her attitude on Saturday maybe she was just having a bad day. But again today my interaction was poor and I've come to learn this is probably just the way she communicates all the time. I had a nail break after my appointment Saturday. I called this morning and spoke to a very kind woman. I didn't want to book an appointment online and take up all that time from someone so they would lose the opportunity to get another client. The kind woman this morning said I can come in anytime I don't need an appointment and they can fix the nail today. When I got to the salon this afternoon and said this to this young girl, Her response was that "wasn't me on the phone this morning I don't know who you spoke to everyone needs an appointment." The answer "that wasnt me" is not how you speak to a client. Take accountability for the business that you work for and either accommodate a client or tell the client that you can't accommodate them right now and offer an appointment. I then thought maybe I called their location which was two stores down this morning so I showed her the phone number I called and I asked her if that was their stores phone number. She then told me she doesn't know. I said, " you don't know the phone number of where you are employed?" It's clear this girl could care less about her job. She went and spoke to someone to see if they could fit me in and she told me I need to wait. Waiting wasn't a problem at all. But her attitude was. So I went two stores down to the other location and asked if someone could accommodate me. There, the receptionist was super sweet & she actually told me that it's free for a nail fix when you go to the person who did your nails the first time ( versus $5 a nail) Had I known that I would have waited to schedule the appointment accordingly but the receptionist with the bad attitude she failed to tell me that also . This won't deter me from going there again because the artists are really great but management needs to do something about the attitude because first impressions really do mean a lot and it's now twice that she's behaved this way. Also didn't check my temperature or asked me to wash my hands when I was here on Monday. That's a huge red flag. Not good. read more

I made an appointment with crystal ( who I saw on instagram and thought would be great). I had an appointment last week at 11am, I woke up to a text at about 8:30am saying she had an emergency if we could reschedule. Me being in the hair industry understood and rescheduled for the following Monday ( yesterday) at 5pm. at about 3:45 I received a phone call from the nail salon saying she needed to reschedule AGAIN. Still a nice salon, but a shame that Billy lost his touch! As a regular client, his shaping is good but only when he does my acrylic it chips off quickly and the gel loses shine/looks dull after 3-4 days-- and I'm fairly careful. Also, never expect dead cuticles to be removed. My friends and I who visit Billy frequently do our cuticles at home before coming. But if you're paying a lot extra and waiting a week just to get Billy, at least remove the cuticles? He's actually refused to and I had to do fill ins more often because of that. I've found you have to repeatedly tell him what to do and he's only good with single colors, not designs as he's botched my nails and declined fixing the design. Probably since he's quite in demand, so expect the appt to last 30 mins tops which is nice if you're on the go but obvious sacrifice of quality in that trade off- no massage, aloe, hot stone. It sounds gross, but I try to ignore that nothing is sterilized or hygienic- and given the high volume of clients in the salon it's concerning. The other techs who aren't as in demand are decent too with better schedules but everyone seems to have a vendetta against removing cuticles lol. So while the salon isn't terrible, the cuticles, bad gel quality, chipping acrylic and the sanitary aspect has me in search for a new salon :( read more

We recently went they charged me $45 for a GEL PEDICURE when I used to pay $20 and they charged my boyfriend $60!!!!! For a mani and pedi. My nails come out great when I come here! I always go with Lilly since she's more personal & does check to make sure each finger is up to proper measurement when doing acrylics . She keeps up good conversation too :) I've gone with other nail techs but they don't put as much attention to small details (like nail measurement) as I would like. I was not told of these 'up charges' until I get to the counter to pay of course and the girl tells me that I would know these prices if I came there more often!
