We tried Final Draft for a second time after having a not so stellar experience the first time. After this most recent visit I am comfortable saying that our poor experience was just an off day. We had a great server and quick service, this time getting our food within 15 minutes of being there. Our server was knowledgeable about the many beers on tap and checked back in with us multiple times. Just opened six months ago, this place is wonderful! Comfortable atmosphere, delicious food and a great selection of beer and a couple non-beer offerings. Really got a laugh out of the clever names of their beers! The pastrami sandwich and pulled pork sandwich were delicious and generous portions. Their garlic steak fries were also delicious and not overpowered by the garlic as some can get. Nathan was our server/bartender and he was fun to visit with as he served us. Went here to celebrate my engagement with family (10 people) on a Tuesday and had the worst experience ever here. We waited an hour and a half for our food to come out. Many people at our table had a problem with their food. My California Burger had no flavor (no seasoning),1 slice of avacado on half of the burger, and I asked for medium and it was overcooked and extremely dry. They forgot to bring out onion rings with one of the burgers that was ordered and one was missing sidewinders (french fries). We were told they would be out with them and they never came out of the kitchen. Everyone at the table who had a burger agreed that the burgers were not good. One thing we could all agree on was the onion rings were delicious. We ended up sharing what we had on our plate with the others at our table who were missing food. I have always recommended Final Draft to my friends and colleagues. It greatly saddens me to say that it has recently gone down hill. The waitstaff is incredible! Please understand that they are not to blame! However, the last two times (in the last week) the food has been subpar. Each time I have ordered a burger medium well and unfortunately it has been less than that. The first time the burger was extremely under cooked, to where there was blood. I realized forgot my id when I ordered a beer, the girl serving me had served me before and seen my license so I hoped she would honor it, but she wouldn't, which is good, she did her job. She basically made me feel shitty after I couldn't order a beer like we were a waste of her time if we weren't going to drink and spend enough money to make herself a tip. Clearly we wanted food, I said "I guess we could go somewhere else," I was never rude, and she just walked away from our table to the table next to us. Apparently since they were spending more money they were more important. Hey girl, good customer service means welcoming people at all times. To all of the employees at FDBC, you have no business if it isn't for your customers. You stay in business by being kind and welcoming. Went in for dinner on 6/12/2018 and seated ourselves about 5:00PM. The waitress arrived and took our drink order. We got two beers, a extra pale ale and a blackberry beer, I forget the name and a rootbeer for my son. After that the waitress just kinda forgot about us and resumed taking other peoples orders and food orders. We never had our food order taken even though we were sitting there with menus folded up almost done with our drinks. I wanted to like this place but the customer service is one to be desired. Wonderful experience here enroute from Dixon to Mount Shasta for my daughter's wedding. Lunch was great..fish, wings, burgers with the star being the onion rings. A must try! Kendra was our very patient very knowledgeable waitress who guided us through the beer selection. We built our own sampler flight and son in law had 2 and one for the road. First point I want to make is that food was absolutely awful. Biggest downside to the place. Next to that, servers were uncomfortable around customers. Very uncoordinated. Also aside from food being awful, beer was mediocre. Nothing I would have again, would suggest Fall River instead. When you first walk in, it's open and somewhat welcoming until you look around and there's an indoor cornhole game where there should be tables. You think it might be alright until there's no beer menu and you have to walk close to the television to see the menu they display. I've seen good and bad and this place is classified awful.
