Chocolate Piñon Coffee by Black Mesa ($2.95) 04-13-2023

This is the place to come to wait! I have used this location several times when I needed to pick up my travelers from the Denver Airport. The parking lot for the Final Approach is the Cell Phone Waiting Lot. It's about three miles from the airport. It's much nicer than LAX, the Los Angeles Airport's lot!! LAX is simply a parking lot with a Port-a-Potty or two. I haven't used that lot in years, so I don't know for sure if they've made it better or not. At Final Approach, you have a spacious, air conditioned building you can enter! Inside, there are a few restaurants, places to eat & chill, and restrooms. Free Wi-Fi is a big plus, too! There are eight flight information display boards, so you can keep an eye on all the flights statuses. The food choices here are: Dunkin' Donuts, Schlotzsky's, Tia's Authentic New Mexican Eats, and Auntie Anne's Pretzels. There's a Wendy's next door at the Gas Station. I have only had coffee from Tia's. I have not gotten food from any of the other vendors. To get back to the airport, go to E 78th Ave, which is behind this building. Go east to Jackson Gap St., turn right to travel south along Jackson Gap Rd. to the eastbound ramp onto Peña Blvd. Follow the signs along Peña Blvd. to access Terminal East or Terminal West. You'll need to know which side your passengers are on. Best of all, it's free to park here!

First and last stop in Denver! A one stop shop . My coffee was amazing and the service was fast!

I was happy to find this food court at the Denver airport cell phone lot. It provided four restaurant options, plenty of seating, pleasant background music and large monitors showing arrival and departure times - nice! The current restaurant options are Schlotzsky's, Auntie Anne's, Dunkin' Donuts and Tia Mexican. Very nice!

The correct place to wait before picking up guests from DIA, and not the shoulder leading to the airport. Restrooms, food, options, and both arrival and departure information on the displays. I ran a quick cellular speed test, and with 5G, I pulled over a gig download Speed.

Name of the cell lot at DIA.

Stopped here "Final Approach" in the cell phone lot to wait for our family to arrive. Went in to use the restrooms at 7:00pm. They said they were closed for cleaning, and not very nice I may add. So we went back to our car and at 8:50pm went back in before we went into the airport and....yea "restrooms still closed for cleaning and we are also closing the building". Very rude! We will never patronize this location ever again. We went over to the gas station, called Rocket and they were so darn. They also have a Wendy's and they were great too. Our advice.... NEVER GO TO "FINAL APPROACH, go to ROCKETS AND WENDY'S! PS. There are no hours posted on any of the doors! Over and out!

Clean. Good place to wait for your guests. Restaurants have changed and there's no real fast food. If your looking for a quick snack, those places are gone. Mostly full meals starting at about $8 bucks. I even went to Wendy's across the way. No junior menu. Gas station has hot dogs. Yes, more upscale now with higher prices.

I didn't know this place existed. I was referred by the airport website for simply a "Cell Phone Lot." Sounds good. Let me park here and wait for my boss to arrive. I looked around at this spacious parking lot under a crystal clear sky. I noticed there were a lot of older people. Ok, age is just a number, but elders know what the best is. That was why I felt at ease immediately. There's a gas station, which offers prices very comparable with most stations in town. So, no need to hunt for bargains before returning the rental car. Then, there were lots of eateries to choose from. I like the clean bathroom, children's area and free WiFi. Best of all, I was only 7 minutes away from the airport arrival area. When it's timed right, there would be no waiting from the moment he walked outside to getting on my car. Well, not quite. There was another story about picking up at DEN Denver International Airport.

I have been at other cell phone waiting lots at other airports and this is the first one I have ever seen with a food court and restrooms for people to use. Other airports should definitely consider something like this! Especially larger hubs where people may be waiting a very long time! Great idea DIA! The only issue is the food choices are a little "blah". They have a Schlotzky's, Auntie Anne's pretzels, Tia's and Dunkin Donuts. I think there is also a Wendy's connected to the gas station next to the final approach building as well. Not great in the way of choices but could be worse. In any case it's nice to have a decent place to wait.

New to the area and decided to try something new. Food had no flavor and tore my stomach up. Will never eat there again.

Lots of stuff. Little more pricey, but a great lot with tons of parking, gas and food options. Clean bathrooms and eating areas.

Sauce was pretty decent, maybe not quite up to New Mexico standards, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Came with brown beans and rice, which was good with the sauce. I originally ordered my meal to go because there wasn't any seating available. A seat opened up shortly afterward, so I took an empty single seat. The gentleman next to me did the same. One employee commented, "It kind of screws me because you ordered there," referring to my to-go order. That response felt unnecessary and unprofessional. I also asked for a drink three separate times, each time to a different employee. Everyone was polite enough, and one employee even said, "We got you," but the drink never arrived. Overall, there seemed to be a passive-aggressive attitude among several staff members. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy, and there appeared to be plenty of employees standing around, making the lack of service even more frustrating. To top it off, the food was mediocre. I understand airport restaurants can be hectic, but this experience fell well below expectations.

If we had done our due diligence we would have discovered that City Wok has barely two stars overall, and we would've walked away. City Wok was just awful. I ordered the Mongolian Beef with fried rice. The Mongolian Beef was truly terrible. Someone in back of the counter really went to town adding chili flakes to the dish. The fried rice was greasy. The skimpy meat was so fiery hot that I could only eat one bite. My spouse, who craves spicy food, and I mean craves, couldn't eat the Mongolian Beef either. So into the garbage it went. I also ordered the Crab Rangoon. At least they tasted okay, even though they were Mojave-desert dry. The orange chicken was disgusting. The chicken had no orange flavor whatsoever and seemed more like clumps of fried flour. My nephew's perspective was that if City Wok paid its workers a decent wage, they would turn out better food. I'm not sure that's the reality of the situation. I have to wonder if City Wok's owners don't care about quality because they know that in an airport, most travelers are just passing through and won't return, so City Wok doesn't have to invest in making better food to draw people back.

The rice was arguably the worst part of the dish. It tasted and felt like it had been left out for a day or so. You know it's bad when the rice is room temperature and clumped together and dry. The Mongolian Beef had a decent ratio of veggies and meat but the sauce was odd. Definitely not the normal Mongolian Beef sauce and it just was not tasty. Looking around, it seemed like everyone else was not enjoying their food either.
