Awesome classic breakfast place. Great service and food and coffee. The chili was good and I cleaned my plate. A note on service, this is the last place I expected to have a robot serve my food. It was a first for me. I hear some nice music playing and it is getting closer to me. I look over and there is a robot with my food on it. The server came over and served from the robot who then dutifully returned to the counter to get the next load of food for the next customer. Glad we stumbled across place, steady stream of customers, many of them appear to be regulars. Food if not only delicious, but plentiful, come hungry, and be ready to take some home. You would expect to pay alot more for a breakfast like this. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs. The meat was tender and delicious. Love this place! We use to come here years ago.... When we had things to do at the convention center, or the Indo Expo back in the day. We decided to come again, for old times sake, even though it's a ways away from us... It was Just as awesome as we remembered! So friendly! The food is super yummy. Big portions. Have been here many times. Food is always excellent. The problem is the waiter. We have had him twice. Both times he seemed bothered to ask him for refills or adding on to our order for a take out. He does not check in or offer refills. Seems more interested that it's half an hour until closing time. The good news is the rest of the wait staff is awesome. read more

The way people treat you here was the best thing about the cafe! But the food and prices are pretty darn great, too. The staff is SO nice! Inside the place has more space than expected for a diner. If this was closer to me, I'd visit more! The menu is massive, which seems strange when you can get Greek, Mexican, American foods all in the same place. But, I get the feeling that the menu has been what it is for a long time and that most of what you'd order here will be decently good! The portions won't let you go hungry and the price tag is totally bearable! My meal had meats, hash, eggs, and a massive "side" of pancakes all for a reasonable price of $12 - see pics! We planned to take a tour at Hammond's Candy factory and Yelp led us to this place for a quick brunch before the tour. It's located a block away from Hammond's Candy so it's really convenient. This is a quaint country cafe. The owners are Greek so there are some Greek items on the menu in addition to the usual comfort foods. The homemade mashed potatoes and gravy really made the liver outstanding (not my order). It also came with a nice side salad made with good old fashioned iceberg lettuce. The ham and cheese omelette was so big I couldn't finish it (this was my order). It also came with a large portion of home style potatoes and french toast! Yum!!! The service in this place was stellar and everyone was friendly. I would definitely make it a point to stop here before or after the Hammond's Candy factory tour. read more
