Overall this is a really cute and unique coffee shop. It was a little on the pricier side but the cute atmosphere and decent coffee makes up for it. The puff pastry was tasty and I liked their black cold brew. I also would recommend trying their lavender latte.

Great coffee, sweet latte art, and even sweeter vibes. Prodigy is my go-to neighborhood café--perfect for a quick caffeine fix or a chill work session on the patio. Service was quick and my drink was ready in no time, making it ideal for a grab-and-go moment, yet the cozy patio and inviting atmosphere make it just as easy to stay awhile. They really have everything you need.

Great little coffee spot with friendly service and delicious offerings! The drinks were perfect and the bacon breakfast burritos were hot & fresh I didn't realize they had a drive through until I got there, but I'll probably order that way next time I want to grab a coffee on my way to work

Another coffee shop with cool vibes was discovered by me today. I wanted to avoid the big name coffee shop; I was more into discovering a new place. And this place came up on my search. From the current location at the time I was in, this shop was only several miles away. Service was okay-ish (I was greeted by a young lady upfront upon walking up. Her demeanor wasn't anything special but it wasn't bad either.) I asked for a cortado. She asked if there was anything else I wanted on top of that. I said no. I paid for what I ordered. My drink was made quickly. Like I said the service was something you'd expect to receive at any given time at an ordinary or average coffee. What I liked about this place was the spaciousness of it. Its building spreads out from the north to the south. It's modern but it's not modern overkill. Simply and clean feels; I liked that. And in the middle of the building, there is a lab. I saw 6-7 people in that little room. It's all glass so I could see them. Employee meeting or some coffee class for the public? Whatever they were doing, I remained respectful by not trying to give an unnecessary glare (lol)!! They do have some light bites on the menu. If nothing sounds good then you can get a pastry from the showcase (selection is not large though.) This is not a place where I can casually go from my Hamden South neighborhood but it's nice to know that such a place exists. Like today I was in the neighborhood running errands, when I am in the area again, i I'll make sure to stop by. ***P.S: My cortado was good. It was strong where I wanted to have a little more milk in it.

Whoever invented mass-produced coffee is a prodigy. It was our last full day of exploring and traveling around Colorado and we needed caffeine to get us started. Once we dropped Sammy off at work, we looked up some places she told us and settled on Prodigy. They didn't open until 6:30am so we got there early and waited a few minutes in the parking lot. Once they opened their doors, we booked it in and were somehow beat by another person in placing an order. Emily got something that stuck her fancy and I snagged an americano. We didn't wait around to sip our drink as we were going to hike at the Red Rocks and wanted to beat the summer heat. The interior was nice and colorful. To my best guess, this building used to be a lube shop and it was converted into a business building at some point. Emily and I entered what seemed to be that door that rolls up when you drive in for an oil change. While the vibe in the coffeehouse was nice and vibrant, the two ladies working didn't really acknowledge us or engage us in conversation. While I don't ever expect to have a full blown conversation with someone working a register/making coffee, some level of engagement or acknowledgement would be nice. As for the coffee, we sipped it on the way to Red Rocks and wow... this americano was bitter. It was almost too bitter for my taste but I savored it all the same. I needed as much of a punch of bitter as I could get for the long day ahead. Emily said she enjoyed her drink as well. While I was ever-so-slightly annoyed that the customer service here was weak, the strongness of the americano left me with a smile on my face.

Veggie torta with barely anything in it and a cappuccino that was basically a latte.

Poor customer service mixed with overpriced espresso and coffee beverages. Not my cup of "tea."

Nice coffee shop with a big parking lot. Good drink and food options. I really liked my iced latte. They have nice seating with big tables. Service was friendly as well. I just wish the air conditioning was better. Also the waffle was overpriced and just ok.

Prodigy was one of the first coffee shops I visited. I mainly began coming based on their commitment to mentorship and supporting emerging adults. In regard to their drink and food options they have a variety of options. I typically order a hot dirty chi with oat and vanilla--which I love. For food options I typically get a croissant. I just wish I could get it warmed up. Parking is alright they have a couple spots and street parking. But above all it's a great place with great people!

We tried two of their seasonal drinks, and both were delicious! They were unique, well-made, and not overly sweet. You can definitely tell they put thought into their specialty drinks. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish they offered more desserts and pastries to pair with the coffee. Adding a few more sweet options would make the experience even better. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the drinks and the relaxing atmosphere.

They also have a great breakfast all day menu and some solid lunch options too. When I went they had an absolutely bomb Birria grilled cheese, but I unfortunately don't think it's a regular item. Utilizing the existing brick walls, the interior layout is creative with all sorts of art. Their location is their luckiest part as it consistently draws steady footprints. It thus gets packed in a few seconds. It offers (firstly) coffee based drinks. It does have a kitchen where they make more than just pastries and the like. It's definitely more than a simple coffee shop for sure. Service, however, was quite basic. The lady upfront smiled but hesitantly. She wasn't rude but I simply didn't feel welcome. Hence describing their current customer service system or skills as "good" might fuel their egos (wow, did I really say that?? LOL!!) My quad latte was decent/good. I could have done less espresso shots as it sure was strong or too strong (this wasn't their fault; it was mine.) Yes, in conclusion, the shop can and should refine its service (upping it one more level might draw solid raves from the people). Well. I'm not that distraught by any means so in due time, I might utilize them in the future.

The setup is comfortable, and even when it's busy like when we visited between 10 AM and 12 PM on a weekend. It's still a place you want to hang out in. Service: The customer service here is always great. The staff really knows their stuff! My husband has asked technical questions about coffee notes, and I've asked about how they froth their milk, and they are always friendly and open to answering everything. When we did the coffee flight, someone brought it over and explained each selection in detail, which made the experience even better. The Coffee & Drinks My husband and mother in law are the real coffee snobs, and this is their favorite. They love that the beans are never burnt, so you can actually taste the fruit and cherry notes. - The Cappuccino Test: One of my husband's big indicators for a good spot is if they serve a cappuccino in a traditional small container rather than a giant grande cup of milk. This place passes the test! He loves chatting with them about the bean origins and their recommendations. - For the Coffee Purists: He swears by the Nitro Cold Brew and Cappuccino. We buy bags of beans here regularly. Make sure to get a stamp card because your 11th bag is free! - For the Latte Lovers: I usually get the Chai Latte. I always choose spicy over sweet. They add a bit of cayenne pepper which gives it a great kick to wake you up! - The Reserve Flight: We recently tried the $30 Panama Geisha set. Being Panamanian, it was awesome to try the Interstellar, Enigma, and Symmetry. They give you cards explaining the notes, and we could really taste the plum in the Symmetry! They even provide water to cleanse your palate between sips. The Food: Don't skip the pastries! They are very tasty, but they go fast because they're so good. If you see something you like in the case, ask for it! Overall Experience: My husband and I love this spot. Whether you are new to the coffee scene alike me or need recommendations on good cof you're a total coffee expert, they will take care of you. It was a fun, educational experience to do the tasting flight, and the atmosphere makes it a place I always look forward to visiting.
