I'll have to take a picture of the menu next time I go, but this is one of my favorite places in Colorado to get a Smashburger. LOVE their Pastrami Burger and Fries. It's crazy how polarizing the food is, judging by other reviews. I personally love it, paired with a New Image beer on tap. Yes, the fries are salty and that's probably why I love them, especially with the garlic dip. The people who work at New Image and Arty's are dope. I was mostly excited for a new partnership after the brewery moved down the street. I keep eyeing other burgers on the menu, but I have a pastrami addiction, so that's the one I'll keep getting to satisfy my cravings. I went for the burger. I am hitting every single burger on Westword's Best Burger List, and, this was an awesome stop, to say the least. This has been such a fun tour, but stops like this, especially close to my house, make my tour even better. Before we get to the burger, THANK you, Maddie. Perfect, flawless, personable service that made my visit SO much better. I really appreciate you knowing when to not be intrusive, when to give recommendations, and when to be awesome. You truly made my burger tour stop SO much better. First of all, let's get this out of the way. I carry a satchel (not a purse). A man's satchel. And, I like West Coast IPA's. So, I started with the Phanny Pack. I had to look up what thiolized meant, but it worked for the beer. Apparently, a beer process that I was not aware of. Plus, I like big words on menus. They had me at hello. I had to admit it was good. I moved to the Light Bright, a West Coast IPA, more my style, and finished my visit, although I prefer drafts, with the canned pour Hop Goggle. Just do that one, West Coast IPA fans. Hop Goggle was the best. To the food. I spent a LOT of time, too much time, probably to the irritation of the employees, thinking about which burger to get. Why wouldn't I go with Arty's Style, as the place is named after him? BUT, I found out he was a Philly guy (which I respect, as I am from South Jersy outside of Philly), and wanted to merge the Philly Cheesesteak with a burger. The American Wit. I heard too many leans in that direction, and EVERYONE knew I was there to judge the burger. I heard that "it was his baby." Anyway, it was awesome. Beyond awesome. I treat my burger rankings like college football rankings. You can't start at #1, and let me just tell you that I tossed this one at #10...all time. It was magical. I tried for 20 minutes to figure out if it was the burger, the cheese, or the onions, but after I thought about it, the burger was done. Fries were decent. I will say that the seasoning was amazing, and do what I did. Order Arty's Sauce on the side along with the Dragon Sauce. Good call by me. Fun street to be on in general. I only saw two TV's to watch, but they both have sports on and are smartly placed, so I assume this would be a cool Broncos spot. You get a great burger place. You get a stellar brewery. Food, fries and bread pudding were very delicious! The service was very very slow and the place wasn't crowded, so just ensure you have time to wait! The burger options were unique and the sauces were good. Highly recommend the bread pudding if you're eating in person, it has a very nice patio! read more

Been wanting to try this place and it did not disappoint! we sat at the bar Bartender was very knowledgeable and present. We ordered the Reuben and a double smash burger West Coast style, and both were incredibly flavorful and huge. Nice open area with a bar and tables throughout! Cannot wait to go back. read more

Over my winter break from work I decided to finally stop at the Reddit famous Arty Express. I won't get into the specifics but iykyk. After hearing so much clamoring about how good it was and that it was even worth waiting for on busy or nights my partner and I decided to give it a whirl. It wasn't too busy when we got there at lunch time during the week which was a welcome surprise. I have not been to the brewery since I don't drink a lot of beer but I really enjoy the gingerbread old fashioned that I got while I waited for my burger. For my burger I decided to get an American wit with bacon and the side of fries. I really enjoyed the burger it was really juicy and flavorful. It was also very filling and I don't think I ate for the rest of the day it was so good! As I mentioned it wasn't too loud inside the restaurant it wasn't too busy so I can't say how it gets when it is busy. I also really enjoyed their patio and would love to bring my pup to sit outside sometime soon. My partner also scarfed up his burger and really enjoyed it. Fairly average pub fare experience. Food was not exceptional and it felt like a very typical sports bar with not too much to differentiate from other spots nearby that share the genre. Great staff and service was very good overall but did not feel like the food quality necessarily warranted the prices on the menu. Yum! Been wanting to stop in since this is Little Arthur's sister business. Anything I have had from him has been amazing and so I knew this was going to be delicious. Ended up going St. Patty's day weekend so I went with his special corned beef sando for lunch. It was so dang good! So fresh and I gobbled it up quickly with a nice beer from New Image since that is where they are operating out of right now. Ended up meeting some friends at the parade happening that day and by dinner time, we ended back here for dinner. So glad we did! The Arty special double burger is insane! Food was fine and the prices were what a "craft" burger usually goes for these days ($17-$18 for the special burgers) but the customization options are awful. The only burger that sounded appetizing to me was the special, and it happened to be a double patty burger. I'm a small lady and I don't usually eat burgers, so I did not want 2 beef patties. I asked them if I could have a single patty and the chef refused to make the burger with a single patty. I was pretty upset to hear that and I tried to talk to the server about alternatives, and they said "the chef will make an exception and put the second patty on the side, but the price will be the same." Like I don't want the second patty at all! Just don't cook it lol. The server said something about the chef being stuck up about his specials I guess? So we aren't allowed to customize them. Forgot i was at a Michelin star restaurant haha! I'm usually super easy going too, but I won't be back here because this whole experience put me off. read more

I'm a bit on the fence with this place. The burger was seriously killer, 5 stars as far as the food goes, but the service was so bad it was more memorable than the outstanding burger. It literally felt like they don't want you to be there, slow, rude and just generally awful. Again, burger was excellent, but unfortunately we probably won't be going back. read more

Stopped by for some food after the cider and eggnog tasting event. We had stopped by ealier for their eggnog entry, which was excellent. The service and ambiance were good, but the food was not. The jalapeño poppers were not cooked all the way through, not sure if they were frozen before, but had a very cold bit amidst the lava cheese. I thought it might have been just the one, but the others were similar. The French fries were mushy (almost no texture at all) and extremely salty, which is not my bag, but Im sure other people enjoy that style. The Al is what got me though. I like all of the ingredients, so i thought it would be a no brainer, but it was so bad I couldn't eat it. I don't know if the cheese or peppers had gone bad, but something was very off. I had a couple of bites, and couldn't go on, which is a first for me. I just enjoy eating. Even if food is not that great, i'll usually eat just for the pleasure of the action, but this was insurmountibly bad. I sincerely hope that it wad just a bad night. American Wit Double is one of the best burgers I've had. It is sizable and rich burger that really treats ingredient with a lot of care. The buns, the cheese, the onions, and the beef have a high quality taste, more than justifying the cost. The copper sharp specifically is a fun addition to the burger that really elevates it.
