Hands down one of my favorite local snack shops! From the delicious snacks, to the wonderful family owned environment, we're always happy to drop in. Try the delicious food, fried goodies and pre-bagged snacks! Our go to is the spicy peas and samosas. Great service and delicious food at an honest price, what more can you ask for?

Unexpected place to get amazing Indo-Fijian style Curry. This is different than Japanese or Indian curry, it is more watery and has big chunks of cut protein with bone that can be in little pieces so its definitely not for everyone. A family member of mine is obsessed with making this kind of curry and they aren't even close to what Fiji Sweets and Snacks makes. Will definitely be bringing them for a visit next time they are in town. We got the Chicken and Lamb curry, we did note a layer of oil on the chicken curry that we spooned off at home. Both curries have different flavors and were super delicious paired with their fluffy rice. On a cold, gray day it's that proper savory dish that just makes you feel good. The Roti was OK, a little chewy. Samosa was also very good, not a huge massive western size one but nicely proportioned with crispy shell and yummy potato filling. The store is an interesting combo sweets stores and Fiji-goods convenience store. We tried their Jucy soda in un-natural bright pineapple yellow and tropical blue and they were good. I forgot what the dessert was that we uploaded but it wasn't Barfi, I would try some specific Fiji sweets next time but my thoughts were they are very close to Indian sweets which use a lot more sugar than we personally like.

Review is for takeout food and none of the s desserts or convenience store items. The layout of the shop is different now with the counter on the left instead of in the back. It seems there are even more Fiji snacks and products than before. Online they have a large menu of stuff they can make for catering but you have to call in to see what they have that day. Most times they will always have the chicken and lamb curry. The curry is milder than Indian curry and I like it though sometimes it's perfect and other times it's under seasoned. I also like their roti but the last time I came it was a little undercooked.

Definitely the place to get your Fijian curry an Palau!!! All kinds!! Having it with some puri & roti...omg & I'm set!! No need to be embarrassed of stuffing your face, because it is so worth and I am on cloud 9 each and every time I eat here. Those samosas are so crunchy. So good too. I was very satisfied with ordering some food from here for my wedding too. My family & friends loved the food too, especially since a lot of them were Islanders from Fiji. LOL If you don't know how to make Fijian curry and/or lazy to cook, this is definitely worth the place to spend your money for some good food! Not to mention, definitely a place to go to for your Indian cooking. They got some Fijian/Indian sweets and snacks imported from Fiji too.

    Super greasy and burnt puri

We ordered food for our wedding and couldn't serve this to our guests; super embarrassing! Please look at the pictures. The roti was burnt and nearly raw and the puri was full of grease and charred. We also order aloo mutter that was also undercooked and under seasoned. We had to add spice and cook it for a while before serving it. I'm glad I didn't order too much or it would've been offensive.

This place has delicious food and their sweets are amazing! We've ordered catering from here before and their food is good. We'll definitely order from here again.

He seemed snappy when I asked to bring the roti first as an appetizer...(we were hungry) and he just said "it's coming". And sure enough we didn't get it as an appetizer but came with the rest of the food. Here is where the negative experience begins. We got a lamb curry when we ordered a lamb biryani. Instead of apologizing for the mix up, the server took no responsibility and said it was our fault for saying the wrong thing. I said there was absolutely NO way we said the wrong thing. He still tried to argue and say he repeated the order twice (he didn't). I said look man, it's not my fault you messed up, we would never order that. Then, we got the mixed tandoori grill and there was a HUGE hair sticking straight up. I didn't get to snap a picture. This server really asked if we wanted another one... He did eventually say his bad for the mix up and did bring us another naan basket for free so I give him credit for trying to make it right after the fact. But then the check came and he bypassed the tip after I tapped. He said, "the tip is for the restaurant, I only take cash." Like wow, not even the opportunity for me to tip the restaurant? And to expect everyone to only tip cash for him? Food was for sure amazing but this server really needs to get trained on service. To not give the customer an opportunity to tip the restaurant is unfair for the workers. Edit: I had to take another star off because when I got home to eat our leftovers I found ANOTHER hair literally embedded in our chicken! Absolutely disgusting...

This time, I tried Chicken Do Pyaza for the first time. Surprisingly, I couldn't find any photos of it on Yelp, but I decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did. It turned out to be an excellent choice. I personally prefer dishes that have some texture rather than just a smooth gravy, and this dish delivered exactly that. The combination of flavorful gravy, onions, and other ingredients created a wonderful texture and made every bite enjoyable. Of course, we also ordered their dal, which is always delicious, comforting, and full of flavor. And no meal at Kabila is complete without their gulab jamun. It's one of their standout desserts and always hits the spot. Overall, another great meal. Consistently tasty food, generous flavors, and dishes that keep us coming back. Highly recommend

But I don't go to Indian places to get the butter chicken. I actually don't remeber what I got for my lunch combo, but it wasn't anthing to write home about. Pricing was okay given it was the lunch time special pricing. Honestly the atmosphere felt like a family shop where no one wants to work there but it pays the bills. There's a counter filled with unlabeled treats. They looked good but I had no idea what they were. Service was the minimum which doesn't really bother me but some people enjoy it. Felt really cramped filled with tables and people who think they're having an exotic lunch instead of McDonald's. This place is not for me and after I told by bf this he agreed. Kinda hard to find, it's like a blink and you miss it. Parking is sparse, I parked down the street.

This exceptional establishment has become my go-to destination for experiencing the genuine flavors and aromas that transport me back to cherished memories of home-cooked meals from years past. I discovered Flavor of India several years ago, and since that initial visit, I have never once been disappointed--not with the food, not with the service, and not with the overall experience. What makes this restaurant truly special is the remarkable consistency they maintain. Every time I walk through their doors, I know I'm in for an authentic culinary journey that honors traditional North Indian cooking methods and recipes. The heart and soul of Flavor of India are undoubtedly Pawan and Gurudev, the dedicated staff members who don't just serve customers--they welcome guests like family. Their warm hospitality creates an atmosphere that goes far beyond a typical dining experience. They remember regular customers, take time to explain dishes, make thoughtful recommendations, and genuinely care about ensuring everyone feels comfortable and well-cared-for. This personal touch transforms a simple meal into something meaningful and memorable. The restaurant's physical space itself contributes significantly to the overall ambiance. Abundant natural light floods the dining area, creating a bright, welcoming environment that feels both refreshing and inviting. Unlike dimly lit restaurants where you strain to see your food, Flavor of India's well-lit space allows you to fully appreciate the vibrant colors of the dishes--the rich reds of tandoori preparations, the golden hues of curries, and the fresh greens of chutneys and garnishes. Adding another layer to the sensory experience, the restaurant often plays bhajans--devotional songs that provide a spiritual and cultural soundtrack to your meal. These traditional hymns are a true blessing, creating an atmosphere that feels authentically connected to Indian culture and heritage. The combination of soulful music with the aromatic spices wafting from the kitchen creates a multisensory experience that engages not just your taste buds but your entire being. Whether you're seeking the comfort of familiar childhood flavors or exploring North Indian cuisine for the first time, Flavor of India delivers on every front. The authenticity of the food, the warmth of the staff, the inviting atmosphere, and the thoughtful cultural touches all combine to create a dining experience that nourishes both body and soul. This is more than just a restaurant--it's a place where tradition, hospitality, and exceptional food come together perfectly.
