We were able to buy a big container of palm oil, a sack of oloyin beans, dried crawfish, plantains, frozen stew meat, plantain chips, and chin chin. I strongly recommend the chin chin...we couldn't stop eating it! We saw a sign that they cook suya on the weekend which we would like to return for. Its a small store with very few products, humble environment, some of the shelves are empty. If you can ignore those things which really didnt bother me or my husband, you can do your shopping and find your African staples to eat. My husband and I noticed that the prices were still high (given the costs to import items) but not nearly as high as Man Must Wak in Oakland which, in my opinion, is really taking advantage of the African community, knowing that there are barely any competetors and they have the monopoly in Oakland.

I haven't gone here once without staff in the aisles replenishing stock. And they're always available to assist. The workers at the meat/seafood section always make sure everyone has been helped. And all my freshly fried fish has always been good. The cashiers can be limited but are efficient. Lines move pretty quickly. They always greet and are very helpful. I just wished they had a location in the San Ramon/Pleasanton/Dublin area. Then I wouldn't have to deal with my car having a fried fish airing for 25mins til I get home. Hint..hint..

The entrance takes you through the produce sections. The veggies were standard veggies like bok choy, cabbages, root veggies etc. There were some things I was looking for that didn't have labels, just "general produce." No biggie, I know how to use my phone to scan images. The produce section also has a freezer section with frozen dumplings, buns, and other stuff. The selection was amazing. The meat department had plenty of options from poultry to beef to seafood. They also had frozen meat and poultry in ice chests. I did come for loose leaf teas and found just what I needed. Everything is really great quality and they have different jujube options. I also loved their frozen ice cream and sweets. We got the viral ice creams to try and they also had tanghulu but only the hawthorn ones. We get to the register and the cashiers were really nice. Overall the experience is great!
