We got some produce and all of it looked good, not wilted or sad, so I was very impressed. We took the fish home and it was so much better than we've had at other places. It was crispy, salted perfectly and it was really good. Pretty sure we found our go-to for fried fish!

I strongly recommend the chin chin...we couldn't stop eating it! We saw a sign that they cook suya on the weekend which we would like to return for. Its a small store with very few products, humble environment, some of the shelves are empty. If you can ignore those things which really didnt bother me or my husband, you can do your shopping and find your African staples to eat. My husband and I noticed that the prices were still high (given the costs to import items) but not nearly as high as Man Must Wak in Oakland which, in my opinion, is really taking advantage of the African community, knowing that there are barely any competetors and they have the monopoly in Oakland.

You can find so many options for rice, flour, snacks, vegetables, frozen food, etc. There are samosas and mithai. Sometimes there are long lines because I think a lot of restaurant owners come here, but it typically goes fast. If you register your phone number, on your fifth visit, you can get a free samosa (it's pretty new, so I haven't been able to enjoy this yet, but my next visit is my fifth one since they started this promotion, so I'm looking forward to it).

It's located in the plaza with target so there's always tons of parking. They even have some charging stations for electric cars on their side of the plaza (tesla chargers are on the opposite side). Inside, you can find pretty much anything you need for a good Filipino meal. You've got the bakery up front making fresh baked goods. Then there's the hot and ready take out food restaurant (also does catering). And of course, the market with a recent produce section and the meat/fish counter. Protip: if you want a cheaper fried fish, choose one from the fish area and ask them to fry it for you. It's cheaper than buying the fried fish at the restaurant.
