Was in town for the day. Stopped in to grab a drink & snacks. Staff were friendly. There were 2 staff members greeting customers as I walked in. Love their fruit set up. They have a great selection and as always with every Trader Joe's absolutely love their flower selection and little plants.

Love the grocery hauls at TJ Everything is fresh and reasonable Staff are friendly Love the freshly foods and flowers. They always have something for everyone. Glad they have the strawberry soufflé available. So light and delicious

Love that they have frozen Indian food that I can stock in my freezer for when the craving hits and I don't want to go outside to a restaurant. The serving sizes are also perfect for taking for lunch. Particular favorites are Chicken Tikka Masala, Vindaloo, Garlic naan (not the perfect texture, but in a pinch :)) and Butter Chicken. They have a slew of products that I won't list, but good quality food for decent products. I do miss the chocolate covered orange and raspberry they used to have, but their dark chocolate peanut butter cups are 2nd best. Here's What I Think...I'll be back next week to try the Pumpkin dog treats if the ingredients are safe for my pooches.

4/20/25 Happy Easter. My daughter's pancakes, see picture of my pancakes.

4/13/25 - Had an amazing tiramisu from ZoZo's in Reno, and my daughter and I decided to make one! See other review. And she volunteered her expensive good dark rum! I'm so excited! Quality/Quantity - 4/18/25 - Today is Good Friday. Rushed over here before they closed. The employees were working hard to restock the store for tomorrow's business, which was crazy busy today. Unfortunately for me, they did not have 2 of the 3 items I needed... So I was only able to get the cocoa powder. Walmart (another failure, and also crazy busy) and Safeway, here I come. 4/20/25 - Happy Easter everyone, see my pictures for our TJ Easter brunch. :) Atmosphere - Love the local art, see pictures. Plenty of parking, but again, it was crazy busy today 4/18 and on Easter Sunday 4/20. Open 7 days a week from 8am to 9pm. Service - Self service, checkout has always been smooth and easy. Price - $4 for my cocoa powder + whatever my wife bought. I did not even look. $25ish for all my Easter brunch ingredients. Plus we got empanadas ($45) from next door Pampas; see other Yelp review. Owner Comment - Congrats on your company's success since 1967 (1958 if you count Pronto Markets). 1979 - Sold to Theo Albrecht, owner of Aldi Nord. 2024 - 569 stores.

Stopped by on a Monday evening after dinner. The store wasn't too busy this day and we remembered to take our grocery bags. Upon entering, the store was clean and well stocked. The entrance takes you through the produce sections. The veggies were standard veggies like bok choy, cabbages, root veggies etc. There were some things I was looking for that didn't have labels, just "general produce." No biggie, I know how to use my phone to scan images. The produce section also has a freezer section with frozen dumplings, buns, and other stuff. The selection was amazing. The meat department had plenty of options from poultry to beef to seafood. They also had frozen meat and poultry in ice chests. I did come for loose leaf teas and found just what I needed. Everything is really great quality and they have different jujube options. I also loved their frozen ice cream and sweets. We got the viral ice creams to try and they also had tanghulu but only the hawthorn ones. We get to the register and the cashiers were really nice. Overall the experience is great!

I went to pick it up on Wednesday, only to be told it wasn't ready yet. When I explained that I had already called it in on Sunday, the employee initially said she didn't see anything in the system and told me to come back the next day. After I reminded her again that I had called in, she suddenly "found" it and told me to come back in 2 hours and that I would receive a text message when it was ready. I never received the text message they promised. I returned on Friday, and once again they couldn't locate my prescription. After more searching, they finally found it -- but they also tried to give me someone else's order at the same time. I had to explain that I only had one prescription and asked them to verify it using my phone number, not just my last name. The entire experience was very unprofessional, disorganized, and frustrating. On top of that, the drive-thru wait was over 20 minutes. For something as important as prescriptions, accuracy and communication should be a priority. This pharmacy seriously needs to improve its customer service and organization.

Note, this is more of a review of the taqueria attached to the market and not the market itself, though it looked like it had all the essentials. Meat wise, it's definitely missing my favorites but in this case, it's actually a good thing because it means I'll order things I dont normally order as much. I went with a chivo (goat meat) taco and a super carne asada (grilled steak) burrito. I also picked up a bag of chicharron con carne (pork cracklings with meat) and a side of refried beans. They lady that took care of me was super nice. I love places like this because it gives me a chance to practice my Spanish. What's so awesome about this place is that they are grilling the meats right in front of you, which makes me want to order everything. I took everything home to the family they all loved it. The steak was super juicy and it might be one of the better carne asada I had. Everything tasted super fresh. The chivo taco was very moist and delicious as well. As for the chicharrons, it's chicharrons, it's almost always going to be good and the beans, were delicious as well, wish I ordered some arroz on the side to go with it. I bought the pre-packaged chicharrons by the checkout but if you want yours a little warmer, you can buy at at the meat department in the back of the store. All in all, Im definitely coming back and looking forward to trying their other meat options like al pastor and barbacoa. Given how small their work space is and how busy they might be, be prepared to give some extra time, especially if you are like me and bringing the food back home.

The location has been consistent in delivering great food--I always get either their carnitas cheese fries or their barbacoa cheese fries with a bit of consommé (broth) added to it. Their cucumber limon agua fresca always hits, and I recommend their sandia fresca when it's available. Over the years, it's been a place where I have positive memories, as it carried my wife and me through tough days back in college. This was, and still is, a great and affordable meal that acts as both lunch and dinner due to how generous the portion is. The only caveat I have since trying the location after a few years of not stopping by is that they changed their French fries. I think right now they cut potatoes and deep-fry them, versus what it was before, where they were more "restaurant style" fries. The texture is slightly different; however, the flavor has been consistent and still tastes like what it was 10 years ago. A true hole in the wall--the only issue is parking can be quite hard to find, lol! Service is fast if you make it before peak lunch or dinner hours, haha! Love this place.

I have even offered multiple times to purchase gluten-free bread from the store for them to use, but I have repeatedly been told that I do not need to. Most of the deli employees have been kind and have made my sandwich without a problem. However, I have had ongoing issues with certain employees questioning or refusing something that has already been addressed with management. Each time I speak with someone, I'm told the deli staff will be trained, things go smoothly for a few visits, and then the same problem starts all over again. Most recently, a manager named Martha has made this unnecessarily difficult. I specifically explained to her that I have celiac disease and that this is a medical issue, not a preference. On my last visit, I explained that another manager had previously spoken with the store manager and that employees had been trained to make gluten-free sandwiches for customers who need them. Martha's response was, "Barnaby has no power here." I found that response extremely dismissive and inappropriate. I am not asking for special treatment. I am asking to be able to purchase a sandwich using gluten-free bread because I have a disease that requires me to avoid gluten. I have been a regular customer, I am willing to pay for the bread, and this accommodation has been provided many times before without an issue. At this point, the repeated resistance after I have explained my medical condition and after management has already addressed this with the deli makes me feel singled out and discriminated against because of a medically necessary dietary accommodation. Safeway needs to make sure its managers and deli employees are all given the same clear policy and training. A customer with celiac disease should not have to repeatedly explain and defend their medical condition just to receive the same sandwich they have successfully purchased many times before.

I'm also old enough that I can say "I remember when. . . " And not sound like I'm auditioning for a part I am too young for . . . So, here goes: I remember when I lived at 12th&Taraval in SF. Just three straight uphill blocks from a Safeway. I lived in a 3rd story walk up apartment with my boyfriend and two cats, Blitzkrieg and Zippo. I would get groceries just to get paper bags sometimes to change my catliter. So these paper bags had handles and could safely hold groceries carried home often in Carl the fog or straight up rain, and THEN hold 10-15 pounds of soiled cat litter and poop down 3 flights of stairs without so much as tearing, let alone becoming completely structurally unsound. This is my grocery bag upon being picked up once. Once. You can't tell me it's not purposeful that these bags are garbage. It's bad enough Safeway gouges us on grocery prices, but to then disrespect the groceries we do but from them by making sure they drop on the floor immediately because of this shameful excuse for a paper bag. It's unreasonable. Completely unreasonable. This bag has English muffins, a piece of salmon and ladies hygiene pads. Almost no weight, and it tore upon being touched by a human. Safeway is a huge grocery chain . . . Do better.
